Overtired Kevin...
Everything is written from the reader's point of view, as if you were witnessing it happen in front of your eyes. Spoilers as far as Kevin, if you know who he is, then you are golden! And if you know how the tablet reading affects him, then you're good to go! And takes place in the bunker. Lol. I decided to write a little reader x Kevin. Hope you enjoy!

You sat quietly, flipping through a tome in Latin. You had been focused on it for hours, at least, that's how it felt. In reality, it had only been about an hour, not quite.
You hear a soft groan out of nowhere, causing you to look up in surprise. You can't seem to find the source, so you shrug and go back to reading your tome.
You hear another groan, causing you to roll your eyes in and look towards the corner of the room where the newest member of Team Free Will sat.
"Have you taken a break recently?" You ask finally, knowing how sick the prophet kept getting from overdoing it and trying so hard to transcribe the tablet.
"Wha?" Kevin asked tiredly, looking up at you with tired eyes.
You sigh softly, knowing that if you kept giving in to him, he would never finish transcribing for the boys.
"Take a break." You say firmly, looking back down at your tome. You flinch slightly, as you hear a thump, signaling that the kid had fallen asleep on the table once again.
You roll your eyes, half-tempted to go kick Sam and Dean's butts for putting so much pressure on the kid. With a mischievous grin, you put your tome down and get up stiffly. You stretch slightly, before heading down the hall in search of trouble.
"Y/N?" Sam asked, seeing you strutting your stuff down the hall. "Don't tell me, you are looking for trouble again..." he added warily.
"Always." You say playfully, a big grin spreading across your cheeks.
"What's Kevin up to?" Sam asked quickly, hoping to distract you off your current course of action.
"Passed out on the table again. You and Dean need to lay off him a bit." You say firmly, setting your jaw in a show of annoyance.
"Look, we've had this discussion before, Y/N. Once he is done, we will leave him alone for good." Dean snapped, walking out of his room when he heard your comment.
"You're going to kill him... Before he can even finish!" You snap back, making no effort to hide your concern for the young prophet.
"He can handle himself, he is a genius." Sam said quickly, hoping to stop you and Dean from butting heads, as per usual.
"Stay out of it!" You growl at Sam, glaring at him briefly before turning the glare at Dean.
"Oh look who decided to stand up for their boyfriend." Dean taunted softly, knowing it would rile you up more.
"He is not my boyfriend; he is too buried in that stupid tablet to notice me." You say bitterly, too agitated to care that you had just given away your feelings for Kevin.
"Wait... So you do like him?" Sam asked gently, using his caring tone.
A deep blush colors your cheeks, as you nod helplessly. You had been crushing on the prophet for months, but had been too nervous to say anything about it.
"I knew it!" Dean exclaimed loudly, a look of pure triumph crossing his face.
"Shut up, Dean!" You ground out, looking at the ground in embarrassment.
"What's the matter, Y/N, afraid he will hear us?" Dean taunted playfully, hiding the fact that Kevin had joined them in the hall in time to hear your confession.
"It's not like he would ever be attracted to this." You say, in a defeated tone, gesturing to your body.
Sam and Dean shared a brief look, as Kevin walked up to you slowly.
"Y/N? You're amazing!" Kevin said tiredly, looking worse for wear.
"Kevin?! How long have you been standing there?!" You gasp, paling slightly as you look at him.
He smiled sweetly at you, trying to hide how miserable he actually felt. He caressed your cheek lightly, before stepping back a few steps and paling to almost white.
"Kevin?" Sam asked quickly, looking at you both in concern.
You blush at his touch, smiling faintly. A frown crosses your face, as he stepped away from you.
"Are you okay?" You ask quickly, moving to his side and placing a gentle on his forehead. "He has a fever again." You say in concern, glaring at Dean in annoyance.
"I don't feel so hot, Y/N." Kevin groaned softly, leaning into your touch.
"Come on, you just need some sleep." You say softly, wrapping your arm around his waist and guide him to your room.
You lead him to the bed, gently sitting him down, and guiding him to lay down.
"Y/N? Why are we in your room?" Kevin asked lethargically, looking around your room curiously.
"Because my room was closer to get to, and it is closer to the bathroom." You say, with a shrug. "Now go to sleep; you'll feel better when you wake up." You add firmly.
Kevin grumbled incoherently, closing his eyes and dozing off. He curled into a tight ball, snoring softly and wheezing.
You flinch in sympathy, hearing how congested the kid's breathing was, and how labored his breathing sounded. You slip out of your room, back into the hallway where Sam and Dean were.
"Is he okay?" Sam asked quickly, immediately moving to your side.
"No, he has a bug in his system from the sound of it. His breathing is congested, and he has a slight wheeze to it too." You explain thoughtfully. "Combine that with his fever, and we have a fairly under-the-weather prophet." You add, with a sigh.
"That's not good. Last time he was this sick, we found him puking." Dean said, making a grossed out expression.
"You're such an ass! I will deal with him; you go back to being a douche." You snap angrily, pushing past the brothers. You walk rapidly down the hall to the kitchen and begin gathering supplies. You quickly find a big bowl, saltines, a couple of bottles of water, Tylenol, Pepto-Bismol, and a bottle of ginger ale.
"Listen, Y/N, I'm sorry for being insensitive. It's just gross..." Dean said, watching from the kitchen doorway.
"Its human nature, Dean. It's not like Kevin chose to puke, or that you do, whenever you're sick." Y/N pointed out, not looking up as you look for anything else that might be needed.
"He/She has got you there," Sam said, with a chuckle.
"Shut up, bitch." Dean griped, watching Y/N quietly move about the kitchen.
"Whatever, jerk." Sam said, with a soft snort. "Need some help, Y/N?" he asked, flipping his older brother the bird.
"Nope, I got it." You say softly, slipping out of the kitchen and down the hall. "Oh, good luck on your hunt." You call over your shoulder, before disappearing into the bedroom again.
"Thanks!" Sam calls back, waving to you, before he and Dean leave.
You put your supplies down, before moving to Kevin's side. You reach down, touching his forehead lightly. You sigh in relief, feeling the thick layer of sweat covering his cool skin.
"Y/N?" he mumbled sleepily, covering your hand with his.
"Shh... I was just checking for your fever, which is gone. How do you feel?" You ask gently, sitting down on the bed beside him.
"Tired. Lay with me?" Kevin mumbled, fighting to keep his eyes open.
"Sure, go back to sleep." You say, sliding into bed with him.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You soon fall asleep as well, allowing for Sam and Dean to return, and find you both cuddled up and sound asleep. Dean, of course, proceeds to take multiple pictures... for blackmail purposes later on.
I hope you all enjoyed this. Let me know what you think and want to see next!
