Adam Fakes Sick

Adam woke up early, before Sam and Dean, to execute his plan. They were supposed to leave this weekend, but if he magically got sick they'd have to stay. So he slipped into the bathroom, snagged the ipecac syrup, grabbed a washcloth and wet it down, until it was warm. Then he wet himself down, to synthesize clammy and feverish skin.
Then he put the ipecac syrup in his pocket for later, so that he had it, in case he needed a more encouraging gagging and vomiting effect. Usually Sam and Dean believed him when he said he felt sick. But one could never be too careful. He made sure to re-wet the washcloth, and really get his face and neck good, so that both his brothers would be able to tell he had a fever.
He cleaned up his mess, and walked back out to his bed and lay down carefully, wrapping his blanket tightly, like he had been shivering for a while.
About ten minutes later, Dean and Sam's alarm went off, waking both of them up and signaling Adam to groan pathetically.
Dean looked over at the youngest Winchester in surprise, "Adam? You okay?" he asked gruffly, his voice rough with sleep.
Adam whimpered, curling in on himself. "No, I don't feel good." he said in a small voice, trying to sound as pathetic as possible.
Dean got up, stretched quickly, and walked over to Adam's bed, immediately noticing the clammy skin and flushed cheeks. He touched the teen's forehead and sighed softly in concern, before looking at Sam and nodding.
"He's clammy and feverish." he said, looking down at the teen in sympathy. "Any other symptoms?" he asked.
"Feel like I'm gonna puke, my head hurts, and I'm exhausted." Adam listed off in a tired, melancholy voice.
Dean shook his head, before taking a breath and commenting. "I'm sorry you feel so crappy already, that's no fun." he said simply.
Adam just groaned in response, before Sam walked over and started rubbing the teen's back, causing him to shiver and keep shivering.
"Are you cold?" Sam asked in concern, not liking how much the younger man was shivering.
Adam nodded pathetically, before snuggling deeper into the comforter that was covering him.
Sam moved to walked away, when Adam snaked an arm out and grabbed his older brother's arm. He looked down at the teen in surprise, wondering what he was up to.
"Please don't go." Adam pleaded, trying to come across needy, like he was when he was sick.
Sam smiled gently down at Adam, before sitting down gingerly beside him. "I'm gonna get you some meds, you rest." he said.
"Where's Dean?" Adam asked with a pout, as he curled in on himself, making a mental note to make a dash for the bathroom asap.
"He's on a food run." Sam said gently. as he got up and walked into the kitchen, his back to Adam.
Adam got up and stumbled to the bathroom, waving off Sam, when he started towards the bathroom too. "Just gotta pee." he lied, as he closed the door, pulled the ipecac out, took the proper dosage, and put the bottle away like he had found it.
He flushed the toilet and stumbled back to bed, curling up in his blankets, and waited for the ipecac to take effect. He laid there for about fifteen minutes, before his stomach started cramping, and he started whimpering.
"Sam..." he called out, groaning as his mouth started watering, and he gagged softly under his breath.
Sam looked up from his researching Adam's symptoms, to see a very pale kid. "You okay?" he asked worriedly.
"N...no... I n...need a... a b...bucket...t.... N...ow!" Adam stammered through clenched teeth, his arms around his stomach protectively, as he hung his head over the side of the bed.
Sam jumped into action, grabbing the bucket they usually kept in the car, in case one of them got sick, and placed it below Adam's head. He sat down beside the teen and smiled encouragingly at the kid. "You're okay, just let it out." he said gently.
Adam took one look at Sam, before vomiting heavily into the bucket, over and over again until his stomach was beyond empty, then he was left dry heaving.
Dean walked in the door, to Adam gagging up bile finally, after ages of dry heaving.
"Whoa, kiddo, easy there. How long has he been pulling an exorcist?" he asked, earning a glare from both brothers. "What?" he asked in surprise.
"Not pulling an exorcist... that's gross." Adam panted, regretting the ipecac syrup immensely.
"Don't tease him, Dean. Poor kid's been puking for a while." Sam said heavily, as he helped Adam get comfortable, and watched as the poor kid fell asleep.
Sam and Dean let Adam sleep all day, hoping he'd feel better when he woke up, but it turns out that Adam was in for a very long night.
When Adam woke up it was 3:34 am, and his stomach was churning like he was on a rollercoaster. He groaned in surprise, wondering what was going on, as his stomach flipped over and over. He looked around frantically as his mouth started watering again.
"Sam... Dean..." He called in a panic, when he saw the bucket and relaxed slightly, only to double over it and start retching violently.
Dean woke up to the sound of retching, and immediately looked over at Adam with a heavy heart. He sighed softly and got up, walked over to the kid, and sat beside him, rubbing his back gently. "You're okay, just breathe when you can." he instructed gently.
Once Adam stopped trying to vomit up nothing, he lay down and curled up shivering.
Dean covered him up, only to have bolt up and over the bucket again. "Okay, breathe, you got this kid." he said firmly, not liking how increasingly worse the kid seemed to have gotten.
Adam whimpered, as his stomach relented and he lay down, his hand snaking over to grab Dean's arm, as the older man went to stand up.
Dean stopped and looked down at Adam in with a loving look. "What's up, kiddo?" He asked in a kind tone, no hint of any annoyance that Adam would have expected for interrupting his older brother's sleep.
"Please don't leave me alone." Adam pleaded, in a weak voice, as he shivered like a leaf, while Dean moved to sit beside him.
"You need Tylenol, Sport. Can I get you some and come right back?" Dean asked in a soft tone, watching as huge tears ran down Adam's face as the teen nodded helplessly. "I will be right back, promise!" He assured, as he got up and walked to the bathroom and grabbed the Tylenol, noticing the ipecac bottle had been moved.
He walked back out to the beds with a cup of water and some Tylenol, which he handed to Adam, which the teen took with some difficulty.
"Did you use the ipecac syrup?" He asked gently, wondering if he had faked sick the day before.
Adam looked at Dean miserably, before nodding. "I needed to seem sicker..." he admitted hoarsely.
Dean sighed and gave him the look. "You know the rules: no faking sick, no taking meds inappropriately, and no lying to Sam and I. Why did you break all three rules?" He asked sternly.
"Because you wanted to leave, and we all three were happy here." Adam explained, he reached for the bucket, as he gagged up the water and Tylenol he had just swallowed.
Once he stopped gagging, he lay back down and looked at Dean. "I'm sorry I broke those three rules. I should have just talked to you about staying." He said in a raspy voice.
Dean nodded his understanding, before relaxing immensely and climbing up onto the bed and relaxing beside Adam, so the teen could cuddle into him.
Which the kid did, cuddling up to his big brother and finally relaxing for the first time in the last 48 hours.

He fell into a calm sleep, that allowed his body to heal, so that when he woke up in the afternoon, he only had a mild fever and inconsistent vomiting.
I hope you enjoyed this little fic. I am so sorry it took me so dang long to put up, I've been insanely busy with school and work. I'll try to update sooner, but I'm not making any promises. As always: vote, comment, and request away. Love you all! <3
