Sam x Reader

Taking a sip of your coffee, you sat quietly at your kitchen table, watching as the sun slowly came up over the trees in your backyard. It was the time of day that you enjoyed most. The kids were still asleep, and Sam was either off on a hunt with Dean, or out on a run. The house was quiet and peaceful, and you could actually hear yourself think. It gave you a chance to think about the day ahead, what needed done, or just a chance to think about nothing at all.

Lost in thought as you stared at the mixture of orange and red and blue in the sky, you didn't hear the door open, or Sam's footsteps as he came walking in from his early morning run. But you did feel his arms around you as he leaned down and hugged you from behind. "Morning sweetheart." He said, kissing you on the cheek.

"Morning." You answered, leaning back in your chair so his lips could connect with yours. It was a slow kiss, sensual and full of unspoken promises. Letting him take the lead, you felt his hands moving down, sliding under your shirt, skimming your skin.

Before you could stand up and jump into his arms, you heard the sound of little feet heading down the stairs, and with a groan you pulled away. Pressing his forehead to yours, Sam took a couple of deep breaths. "We will finish this later.' He promised, just as your daughter and son came walking into the room. Only five and three, they were your joy. You saw their huge smiling faces as they held something behind their back. "Happy Mom's Day!" Your son, the youngest announced, holding out a brightly colored bag. Your daughter followed suit, holding out another one. Racing over, they both tried to be first, as Sam took a step back, giving you the special time with your kids.

Opening up Bryson's bag first, you smiled at the cute picture he had drawn for you, along with a cute little bracelet. "I love it!" You exclaimed, putting the bracelet on before turning to your daughter Addy and her present. Inside was a hand painted picture frame, with a picture of your sweet little family. It was perfect. Hugging both your kids, you thanked them, just as Sam came up and placed a hand on both of their shoulders.

"How about we get dressed and treat Mom to breakfast at our favorite diner?" He suggested, and with a squeal both kids raced off to get ready. As you placed the picture on the table, Sam grabbed your hand, pulling you close to him.

"Happy Mother's Day." He whispered, pulling you in for another kiss. With one hand wrapped around you, he pulled out a small velvet box. Opening it up, you gasped at the beautiful Mother's ring inside, with everyone's birthstones.

"It's beautiful." You whispered, sliding it onto your finger.

"Not as beautiful as you." He answered, before swatting you on the butt. "Now how about we get dressed so I can spoil you some more?"

"Sounds like a deal." You agreed, heading up to make sure your kids were actually getting ready. So far your Mother's Day had been ever better than expected.
