You and dean had been dating for a long time. You loved Dean very much and you treated him right. He treated you right as well and was such a sweetheart. Your favourite thing about him was his beautiful green eyes that looked at you with so much love.

One night you and dean returned from a hunt to find Castiel there. Castiel was deans abusive ex boyfriend and he had showed up because he wanted Dean back. Dean refused and told you to wait outside the motel room which you did but you couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to go wrong. And you were right

Dean and Cas had an argument and judging by the sound of it, it was really bad. then all of a sudden there was a bright light and you heard Dean screaming. You rushed in just as the light faded and you saw Dean laying on the floor, crying. Rushing to him, you saw the horror Cas had inflicted upon Dean.

Deans beautiful green eyes were just empty sockets and bloody tears were sliding down his cheeks

"I can't see.. I can't see! Oh God I can't see!" dean said in tears. "shhh it's okay Dean. You're going to be okay" you said yelling at Sam to call an ambulance which rushed Dean to the hospital

It's been 2 months since then and dean has recovered from what happened. His eye sockets healed but he had white plastic eyes put in to replace the eyes he lost at the hands of Castiel. Which looked like this :

People were scared of deans eyes so Dean wears sunglasses to hide them. Adjusting to being blind wasn't easy for Dean and sometimes he still forgets that he's blind but you always remind him.

It's currently yours and deans anniversary and you two are having dinner together at a restaurant. Dean looks like this :

He's being well Dean.. The same Dean you fell in love with.. He's smiling at you, giggling abit at something you said when the waitress walks to the table, looks at Dean and tells him to take his sunglasses off because wearing sunglasses inside the restaurant  isn't allowed in the restaurant and asks if Dean saw the sign that said that or is he just ignorant and stupid enough to leave them on
