Tried to make it as sad as possible

Sophie's POV

"Why does it always have to be me." I said aloud. I groaned and slammed the book shut. It has been three hours since the boys left and I have found nothing. Dean and Sam insisted that I should stay at the bunker because it was "safe". I got up and walked to the pantry to see if we have any Doritos. right as I ripped the bag open, the phone rang.

"Hello." I said putting the Doritos down.

"Sophie, hey it's Dean." Dean said into the phone, worry in his tone.

"Dean, what's happening? Are you ok?" I asked walking over to the couch and sitting down.

"Sophie, it's Sam." Dean said.

And that was all I needed before I hung up the phone and ran to my 1970s Red Chevy Convertible. I sped off and had Dean text me the address.

3rd Person POV

The door was kicked open by a young female girl, probably in her 20s. She rushed through the door to see a man kneeling next to another man. This other man was bloody, beaten, and tied to a chair. The man kneeling next to him, Dean, looked up at the young girl. This young girl, Sophie, looked back, pain in her expression.

"Is Sam ok?" Sophie asked stepping closer to Dean.

"What do you think Sophie. Of course he isn't ok." Dean spat making Sophie flinch back.

Dean's face softened and immediately he felt guilt. Dean had always had feelings for Sophie, ever since the Vamp hunt. The three instantly hit it off. Sam had always been like a brother to Sophie and knew about Sophie's feelings for Dean, but after Sam's constant banter, the two refused to confess their love for each other.

"Ok, I'm sorry." Sophie said, her head hanging down.

Sam started to stir and Dean gasped.

"Sam, hey, Sam are you ok?" Dean asked, hope showing in his voice.

"Dean, where am I?" Sam asked putting a hand on Dean's shoulder.

"In a warehouse of Marbury street." Sophie said walking towards the two.

Sam's head popped up and he looked around until his eyes fell on the young hunter.

"Sophie, are you ok." Sam asked.

"Me, I'm fine, you're the one tied to a chair." Sophie remarked.

Dean wanted to laugh but he couldn't. Instead he felt a bubbling anger inside of him. Was he jealous. Dean untied Sam from the chair and helped him up. Sophie stayed behind to see if there was anyone else in the building. When a faint rustling noise was heard in one of the back rooms, Sophie pulled out her gun and started to search. Dean had helped Sam out to the car and came back to grab Sophie.

Sophie's POV

I kicked open the door to the back room and found nothing. The EMF reader in my pocket started going berserk and I knew something was wrong. My eyes scanned the room before I turned around and convinced myself that there was nothing.

Obviously I was wrong.

A black smoke crammed its way down my throat and that was when I blacked out.

3rd Person POV

Sophie walked out of the room, her eyes black. Dean called out her name and her eyes turned back to normal. She ran out to where Dean was. He saw her out of the corner of her eye and he smiled. She ran up to him and pulled out her gun with a smile.

"Sophie what are you doing." Dean asked holding his hands up.

"My job." Sophie said her eyes turning black.

But this wasn't Sophie's voice. Sophie's voice was much more peppy and full of life, while this one was monotone.

"Sophie, put the gun down." Dean said.

"Dean, shut the hell up." Sophie said.

Dean froze.

"You know you killed my mother right." Sophie said bitterness within her tone.

"Sophie, we di-." Dean started.

"Save it." Sophie said cutting him off. "Save it for when you're in Hell."

Anger flashed through Dean's eyes but he knew he had to keep his cool.

"You know Lilith right. The demon you killed." Sophie said moving towards Dean.

"Lilith was your mother?" Dean asked.

"No Lilith was my mother, not poor innocent Sophie's." Sophie said.

"Don't you dare hurt her." Dean said narrowing his eyes.

"Oh, does Dean have a crush on the little hunter. Y'know, Sophie is a strong fighter. I can hear her screaming and pounding trying to take control of her body again but it's just not working." The demon said snickering.

Dean reached in his jacket and pulled out the colt.

"So, Dean, here's how it's gonna play out." The demon said.

"You put the colt down, I shot, and then everyone gets away happy. Well except you." The demon said.

Dean got up but was suddenly stopped when he heard the gun load. He loaded his gun as well.

"See, I got a gun too. A gun that could kill you." Dean said holding up the colt.

Two gunshots were heard and Dean fell to the ground. Luckily the demon inside Sophie had sucky aim and only hit Dean in the leg. Dean on the other hand hit Sophie right in the stomach. The demon was dead, but Sophie was well on her way as well. Dean rushed to her side and cradled her to him.

"No Sophie, you can't do this to me." Dean said.

Sophie was still conscious but just barely.

"D-dean, you have t-to let me g-go." Sophie said.

"No, no I can't." Dean said, tears falling down his cheeks.

Sophie's breath hitched and that was when she started to have trouble breathing. Her clothes were red and she knew she was going to die. The last thing she said to Dean:

"I love you."

Extended Ending

Dean sobbed as he cradled Sophie. She was dead. He couldn't believe what she said but he heard her loud and clear.

"I love you too." Dean said and gently pressed a soft kiss to her pale, dead lips. And that was when he broke down.

'Say something, I'm giving up on you'

Dean got up, tears streaming down his eyes,

'I'll be the one, if you want me too'

Dean picked up the colt

Anywhere, I would've followed you'

His hand shaking, he found the gun to his throat,

'Say something, I'm giving up on you.'

"I'll see you soon Sophie." Dean said.

Then,

He pulled the trigger.

3rd Person POV

Dean ran up to Sophie and hugged her.

"Dean what are you doing here." Sophie asked.

"Anywhere, I would've followed you." Dean said.

"I love you." Sophie said.

"I love you too." Dean said.

And then fireworks shot out over the ocean. The two were on the boardwalk kissing as the bright colors of an amusement park illuminated the sky.

After all, it was their heaven.
