"So. Hi?" Sam sat in the seat of his car, looking back at Kat in the backseat.

"Hi?" Kat awkwardly waves.

"So. I know you definitely saw Steve handing the shield to me, and I just wanna say-"

"Yeah. Um, thanks for driving me, Bird Brain."

"No problem pipsqueak." Sam smiles, driving up to the school. "Now you have a good vacation, no troubles, and um yeah. Have fun I guess."

"See you then." Kat steps out of the car, opening the trunk and grabbing her suitcase and backpack.

"Bye. And now it's time to annoy Bucky." Sam's lips quirked up into a small smile, as he drove away, leaving Kat to her own devices.

Walking into Midtown, Kat set her stuff at Mr. Harrington's room, waving to him as she walked back into the halls, not bothering to stop by her locker, as she and MJ emptied it out earlier.

Betty Brant popped up on the school news, with her fellow newscaster, Jason Ionello. "This year has been nothing short of-"

A beep blocks out what he said. "Shit is crazy. It's like, insane."

"Jason," Betty says, disapprovingly.

"What?" Jason questions.

"No swearing," Betty replies.

"Yeah, it's like the last day of school, we're good." Jason reasons.

Betty rolls her eyes, before continuing. "Historic. Over five years ago, half of all life in the universe, including our own Midtown High was wiped from existence. But then eight months ago, a band of brave heroes brought us back. They called it the Blip. Those of us who blipped away came back the same age. But our classmates that didn't blip grew five years older."

Jason pipes in. "Yeah, like my little brother is now older than me."

Betty stares at Jason, slightly annoyed. "Yeah, it's math. And even though we had blipped away halfway through the school year and had already taken midterms, the school made us start the whole year over from the beginning."

"Totally unfair. It's not right." Jason adds.

"Tigers, it's been a long, dramatic, somewhat confusing road. As we draw this year to a close, it's time to move on to a new phase of our lives." Betty says.

"Pray nothing crazy happens again because are the Avengers even a thing anymore? Does anyone even have a plan?!" Jason asks.

"That's a good question," MJ says, appearing behind Kat.

"Oh my god, MJ! You scared me!" Kat gasps, setting a hand on her heart.

"You're an Avenger, and that scares you?" MJ questions.

"Touche." Kat nods.

MJ smiles, before resuming to walk towards the classroom in which she, Kat, Peter, and Ned shared a class.

"Wait up!" Kat says, walking behind her.

MJ finally stops where Peter and Ned sat. "What up, dorks? Excited about the Decathlon trip?"

Peter sat up a bit straighter in his seat. "Hey, uh, yeah. We're just talking about the trip."

"Yeah, and Peter's plan." Ned nods.

"You have a plan?" Kat questions.

"I don't-I don't have a plan," Peter stutters.

"No, he's just going to collect tiny spoons while we're traveling to other countries." Ned winks at Peter, who glares at him.

"Like a grandmother?" MJ says.

"Grandmothers do that?" Kat asks. MJ nods.

"I'm not collecting tiny spoons. He's collecting tiny spoons." Peter points at Ned.

"Oh. Okay, well...that was a real roller coaster." MJ nods, staring awkwardly at the pair.

"Mhm..." Peter nods.

"By the way, travel tip: You should probably download a VPN on your phone, just so that the government can't track you while we're abroad," MJ says. "I'll help you with that, Kat."

"Thanks, MJ!" Kat smiles.

"Smart. Will do." Ned nods.

"Yeah, that's cool." Peter nods.

MJ and Kat go to their desks, as Kat hands MJ her phone and MJ teaches how to download a VPN.

~i seriously have no idea what to write here to here's a time skip~

As the airplane flies by, the Decathlon team, Pre-Blip, and Blip, board the plane one by one.

Flash, holding an alcoholic drink, raises his head towards Peter. "Yo, Parker! This is called an airplane. It's like the buses you're used to-" MJ and Kat walks by. "-except it flies over the poor neighborhoods instead of driving through them."

MJ leans over to the flight attendant. "Ma'am?"

The Flight Attendant looks up. "Mm-hm?"

"He blipped, so technically, he's 16, not 21," MJ says.

Flash blinks at MJ as the flight attendant reaches to grab his drink out of his hand. He looks down as she grabs it.

"I'll take that." She says, before walking away.

People start to laugh as Flash's eyes grow big. He turns to her. "She's lying! I don't even know this girl."

MJ turns around to the boys that are sitting there as Flash leaves, as Kat and MJ wave at them.

Brad Davis walks by, waving at Kat and MJ, before smiling at Peter and Ned. Peter looks over at Brad with a creeped-out expression as Ned sits next to Peter. He turns his head as Peter starts talking.

"Did you know Brad was coming?" Peter whispers.

Ned shakes his head, then nods. "I knew he was like, part of the Decathlon, but like, I mean. It-- It's so weird. Like, one day, he's that kid who cried and got nosebleeds all the time, and suddenly, we Blip back, and he's totally ripped and super nice and all these girls are after him."

Peter narrows his eyebrows as they turn back around from watching Brad, Kat, and MJ put their stuff in the overhead compartments.

"Not all the girls are after him," Peter says.

"No, man. They're all after him." Ned shakes his head, turning.

MJ and Brad are helping each other out. MJ giggles, grabbing something Brad handed her. "Yeah. Thanks."

Ned turns back around.

Brad smiles at Kat, helping her get her suitcase in the overhead compartment.

"Oh, thanks." Kat smiles.

"No problem. Hey, if you need help, just tell me." Brad says, giving her a slip of paper.

"Um, yeah. Anyways, I think I'll go sit down. Thank you." Kat says, awkwardly slipping the paper in her pocket, before sitting down with MJ and Betty. "Please help me get rid of this."

"Sure. Give it to me, I can help." Betty smiles, as Kat gratefully hands her the slip of paper.

Ned gets up from his seat over to the 3 girls. They look up at him. "Hey, guys. Uh, there's an old lady in front of us wearing a crazy amount of perfume and it's kind of setting off Peter's allergies. Uh, Betty, if you could switch seats with him, that would be-"

"He's allergic to perfume?" Betty questions.

Ned stays silent and shakes his head. "Yeah, yeah, because it- it makes his eyes water, and he can't really-"

Mr. Harrington turns around in his seat after eavesdropping on the conversation. "Peter has a perfume allergy?"

"Oh, uh..." Ned starts, raising a hand.

Kat looks around, before using her powers on Ned.

I seriously cannot with Peter right now.

Cannot with what? Does he really have a perfume allergy? Kat thought, before shaking her head and disconnecting the connection.

"From experience, perfume allergies are no joke. I can feel hives breaking out already. Uh, MJ, stand up." Mr. Harrington gets up from his seat as Peter does. MJ stands up as Mr. Harrington gives orders.

"Ned, take MJ's spot. MJ, you take my spot." Mr. Harrington turns toward Peter. "Peter, let's get you out of there."

"Sorry," MJ says as she moves over Betty's legs, and to Mr. Harrington's old seat.

"Zach and Sebastian, you take Ned and Peter's seats."

"Ned, thanks for bringing this to my attention. Your safety is my responsibility and Mr. Dell's, but he's..." Mr. Harrington glances at Mr. Dell, who can be seen snoring. "I got it for now. Let's go, Peter!"

Peter looks at Mr. Harrington like he's gone bonkers and picks up his bag.

"Let's go!"

Peter moves to his spot as Ned sits down next to Betty, who looks depressed.

Peter Parker passes by Mr. Harrington and sits down at the spot next to him.

"Yeah, I have a small bladder, so I took the aisle." Mr. Harrington explains.

Ned turns around to Betty. "So do you want to play Beast Slayer?"

"Nope," Betty says. There's a quick awkward silence.

"Have you ever played any kind of PC game or-?"

"No."

Ned nods. "Got it."

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, this is your Captain speaking. Flight time today will be eight hours and forty-nine minutes to Venice, Italy." The pilot says.

"Help me." Betty mouths to Kat, as Ned eagerly talks to Betty.

"Sorry." Kat mouths back.

*  *  *  *

Peter, Ned, and Kat regroup once they get out of the plane.

"You seriously didn't tell me that you were allergic to perfume? That's really bad of you Peter." Kat says disapprovingly.

"Well, um, actually- Wait can't you tell if anyone's lying?" Peter asks.

"I can but it's kind of an invasion of privacy." Kat crosses her arms.

Betty walks up to the trio. "Hey, babe, can you hold this for me, please?"

"Yeah, of course." Ned nods.

Betty smiles. "Thanks."

"What was that?" Peter asks.

"Well, we actually got to talking on the plane, and it turns out we have a lot in common. So, uh, we're boyfriend-girlfriend now." Ned says.

"It was the worst plane ride. I was third-wheeling the entire time. It like I wasn't even there!" Kat groans.

"Kat, c'mon!" MJ beckons.

"Alright!" Kat says.

They make it past customs, and out the doors, seemingly waiting for the bus, as Peter rushes back to the school group.

"I'm here! Mr. Harrington! I'm here, I'm here!" Peter yells.

"Wait, wait, wait, Peter's here. Thank goodness." Mr. Harrington sighs.

The school group takes a boat through the Grand Canale in Venice. The group is touristy, taking photos and videos of Venice. Soon, their boat pulls up to the most dingy-looking hotel in the area, with scaffolding covering the front, the 'hotel' sign hanging by a thread.

"Looks like we're here. They're doing some renovations to the place. Getting some upgrades." Mr. Harrington cheerfully says.

"This place is trash." A student says.

"That must be the concierge." Mr. Harrington says, walking inside the hotel. "Everyone, here we are!" He takes in the desolate insides of the hotel- it's just as bad as the outside, maybe even worse. A cat standing on a table meows. Mr. Harrington steps into a puddle of water.

"Oh whoa... whoa, whoa." Mr. Dell cringes.

"Tell me we're not staying here," MJ says.

"I think this place looks worse than Thanos," Kat mutters.

Flash looks in disgust. "This place is sinking."

Mr. Harrington says, with feigned enthusiasm. "I think you mean charming!"

"Okay, everybody. Drop your bags off and we're gonna meet at the Da Vinci museum at 3. Let's go!" Mr. Dell orders.

"Vamanos!" Mr. Harrington orders.

"It's andiamo." MJ deadpans.

"Andiamo!"

Mr. Dell [to the students]: When in Rome, you do as Romans do. When you're in Venice, your socks get wet!

The students grumble.

*  *  *  *

Now the group is at Saint Marco Polo's Square.

"What's up, Flash Mob, how are you guys doing? I'm in Saint Marco Polo's" Someone, probably a student, runs past and hits Flash in the groin. Flash doubles over. "-Oh!"

Ned and Betty are getting a caricature drawing done of them.

Betty grins. "This is so much fun!"

"Yeah?" Ned chuckles awkwardly

Mr. Harrison is trying to take a photo of himself in front of the scenery. He sets his camera on the railing and posed awkwardly. The camera beeps and takes the picture. Grabbing the camera, Mr. Harrison nearly drops it. He looks at the picture and the camera slips from his hands, falling into the water.

Students are taking a photo in front of a touristy thing. "Three, two, one, say 'pizza!'."

"Pizza!"

MJ is standing with her arms out, pigeons perched on her arm and shoulder while Brad takes her picture. Then, Kat walks by and MJ goes to talk with her, as Peter goes into a jewelry store.

*  *  *  *

MJ comes up unexpectedly behind him. "Boh!"

"Hi!" Kat waves excitedly from behind MJ.

"What?" Peter asks.

"Boh. It's the most perfect word in the world. Italians created it, and I just discovered it." MJ says.

"What does it mean?" Peter asks.

"That's the thing, it can mean a million things. It can mean 'I don't know', 'get out of my face', 'I don't know and get out of my face'. It's the best thing Italy ever created, except for maybe espresso." MJ explains.

"Oh, so you've been drinking espresso." Peter nods.

"Yeah. Espresso's really cool. It makes me really hyper. Now I know why Tony likes espresso so much." Kat says.

"Yeah, she's never getting espresso," MJ replies.

An Italian man comes up to them, holding a rose, gesturing between the pair. "German? American?"

"Boh" MJ says.

The man frowns and walks off.

"Whoa." Peter and Kat say at the same time.

"Boh is my new superpower. It's like the anti-aloha. I was born to say this word... So, what's in the bag?" MJ asks.

"Ooh, looks cool!" Kat says, pointing at the paper bag. "I've never seen a paper bag that small."

"Really?" MJ says.

"Superhero?" Kat replies.

"Oh yeah." MJ nods.

"Oh, uh... Boh." Peter quickly says.

"Nice." MJ notices the many crabs escaping the water by drawing up the pillars at one of the many docks. She pulls out her phone to take a picture. "Whoa, cool. Look, Kat."

"Wow! That's a lot of crabs." Kat gasps.

Peter notices the water being sucked into a grate.
