The meetings

Deep in a forest, lies a golem. Standing still under the moonlight. Mostly covered by the forces of nature. It's eyes are hidden by it's hair, but by the posture it looks calm. If anyone knew better they would say that it always laid still, but they had never seen if move during the day. The only thing people thought that it was ancient. Though the golem would move during the day. Passing around, always moving and observing the animals. This isn't the story of just the golem. It is also about a boy named Marcus.

Marcus is a small timid boy. Not much for adventure, but still fascinated by the things around him. Marcus would read stories of beyond him, only wishing to meet such things. Things he wishes he could meet from afar.

Marcus followed down a path. It was getting pretty late. The sun was setting down, which only caused Marcus to race on home quicker. His breath quicken as he would stumble around once or twice.

He was closer to home now. It wasn't until something caught his eye that forced him to stop in his tracks. Marcus couldn't make out what it looked like but by the shape of it. It was something humanoide. He felt something come over him. Like it was pulling himself to the humanoide. Marcus only complied to his mind and walked.

The sun was almost completely gone but Marcus was nearby home. He could easily run back to the trail.

Marcus now watching the humanoide, the more it became clearer that it was a golem. The golem was taller than Marcus. He suddenly thought it was a bad idea now, but as he looked closely. The golems movement's looked jagged and craggy. It was until the golem stopped moving all together was when Marcus stood a feet from behind.

It stood still like a pillar. Marcus moves cautiously around it. Examining it from different angles. Marcus took out a notebook and a pencil from his bag. He began to take notes called 'golem notes?' He would mark down all the things that seemed interesting about the golem and the lesser known things about it. It was nice that Marcus wasn't panicking, but that was spoken too soon.

There was a snap and a growl coming from one direction. Wolf, he thought. Marcus tried to pack up quickly but failing once he saw the front of the wolf. He dropped his stuff and began to run.

He scanned the sky seeing it was dark and he desperately tried to find the pathway home. Marcus would try and jump over some stones and branches to get away, but he wasn't known for how fit he was. Marcus scraped himself along the bushes and the branches that hanged low.

He now could see the pathway and felt himself run faster. The more he ran the closer he got home. The lights of the town were now in sight. He reached the town square to stop and see he must have lost the wolf once he reached town limits. Marcus was out of breath and his legs were tired now. He did his best and walked home.

He stood in front of his house. The lights were turned off, everyone is asleep he fought. He slowly opened the front door and walked inside. He carefully tippy toed to his room, cautious not to wake anyone else. Once he was inside his own room he laid down on his bed and thought of all the events that just happened.

Marcus soon felt himself drift off into his sleep. Closing his eyes into a peaceful sleep.

Marcus was walking home once again down the pathway. When he swore he saw the golem. The same feeling he had the other night fell up uponed him once more. He felt the urge to walk to them. He looked at the sky, it was still pretty much day. Only four hours till nighttime. Marcus walked to the golem who just stood still.

Marcus now standing in front of the golem noticed how different it looked in daylight. It looked more alive than what he thought. If it wasn't for his fear of strange creatures then he wouldn't have flinched when the golem moved its arm.

He felt his body tense up and his mind told his body to run. He so did obey. He ran forwards only daring to look back. He saw the golem looked confused, tilting its head to the side. Marcus just ran till he felt like he was falling. No he was falling into a hole. It was like everything moved so fast but his body only moved in slow motion.

He hit the ground with a thump. He groaned in pain as he sat up. Grabbing onto his head trying to focus. Stupid random hole he thought to himself. He tried to stand up before wincing in pain. The pain was sharp in his ankle. He probably sprained it.

The hole was was in was big and deep. He could climb out but would his leg give out? Marcus decided to be safe and not to. The problem was, how long till night fall? Would anyone find him? Thoughts flew into his head.

Suddenly dirt fell on him. He looked up to the golem. It looked at Marcus before giving him their hand. Marcus was still wary about the golem but did he have a choice? He was stuck in a hole.

Even though he felt his ankle was about to break standing up, he grabbed the golem's hand. The golem pulled him up. Once out of the hole he laid on his back. His clothes were already dirty from the fall. He looked at the sky before sitting up. He looked at the golem feeling less afraid. Though he still hesitated when the golem moved and went looking in their own bag. When did the golem have a bag? You know what never mind.

The golem took out a some bangges. The golem pointed at his ankle. It must have knew it was sprained. Marcus so did compled to the golem. He took on his shoe off and rolled his pants up. The golem got to work.

Marcus only just laid his eyes on them, being fascinated on how quickly their hands moved. Once the golem was finished they went back to their bag. The fumbled around before getting a pencil and a notebook. Marcus's pencil and notebook. Marcus opened his mouth to talk.

"Thank you...." he said lowly, but it was loud enough for the golem to hear. The golem only nodded at Marcus.

Marcus felt bad that he ran away from them. His heart pulled at the thought. He looked down at his notebook to see some sentences he didn't write down? Did the golem finish his notes upon them? He looked down to see the sentence.

'Get rekt srub'

Marcus felt a smile to his lips and soon started laughing. This was perhaps the most funniest thing he ever gotten. He looked up to the golem to see a smile on them as well.

It lighten up Marcus's heart.

"What's your name?" He asked as he started to calm down.

The golem didn't respond so quickly, it sat there thinking before speaking.

"That's a lovely name," Marcus said as he replied to them. Apparently it was so low that Marcus only caught the name and we didn't.

The golem stood up and grabbed Marcus bridal style and took him to the path. It was weird being carried by a golem. The golem walked near the town limits before putting Marcus down. Marcus smiled to the golem and they smiled back. The golem was now walking away before marcus called back to it.

"When will I see you again?" He asked before the golem just smiled at him and just walked to the forest.

Little did both Marcus and the golem know, that they will both see each other again under different circumstances.

-Time skip-

Every single time Marcus tried to remember his past he couldn't. Sure he could remember most of his memories but that didn't mean everything. He would remember his family, his friends and his childhood.

There was memory of him coming home from school and his family was worried. They told his to sit. He would remember that he had his ankle wrapped up? It was sprained for days, whenever his family asked about it marcus just stayed silent. He now had no idea why or how? It felt important, like he was missing something or rather someone.

Marcus wandered around the halls of the castle. Feeling bored all by himself. Everyone was busy today. Jackson was too busy fighting with Seek. Even though he hardly ever saw Seek. Marco was too busy attending something. Colin was angry at Mitch. Mitch was angrily reading.

It wasn't until there was a knock at the door. First a knock, then a bang. Mitch went to open the door to see who rudely was there. It was a golem! Marcus hid behind the corner and watched as the golem barged themselves in.

The golem looked through the cabinets looking for something as Mitch yelled at it. The golem didn't phase through. The golem looked around before catching Marcus eyes. The golem walked over the Marcus. Marcus felt himself go still. Like something came over him. Something felt oddly familiar about the golem.

The golem then pointed at Marcus ankle. Everyone was now there looking at the golem.

"What's up with this golem?" Colin asked.

"Marcus do you know what's going on?" Jackson soon spoke. "Do you know this golem?"

Marcus only shook his head. Why did they seem so familiar??? Why did they point to his ankle?

The golem took a step back before walking off. It headed off to the forest. Marcus followed the golem trying to find an answer. Colin, jackson, and Mitch followed behind. Still asking question but Marcus ignores them.

They stop to see the golem is still. No, their hands are moving. It looks like they are trying to wrap something. Marcus takes a step closer. The golem is wrapping the leg of a rabbit. Everyone just stares at them. Marcus sits down next to the golem just staring.

It feels like the right thing to do ... the golem lets go of the rabbit before looking right back at Marcus.

"What the heck is going on???" Colin interrupts, Jackson and Mitch just shush him.

The golem points Marcus ankle and simply says, "get rekt srub." Everyone stares at them before Marcus simply smiles.

Something hits home in Marcus. Just like the first time he felt relieved with them. This time even though he feels like a stranger it's not new. Not to either of them.
