A promise
The night was young, most people would be inside peacefully but yet quietly doing things like chores or enjoying themselves. This night was not one of them. As a group of werewolves we're all in the tavern enjoying themselves.
In this tavern were Xylo the omeg- former omega, now the newly beta. Mario the alpha of the pack. Brick, Mars, Relina and Bryan. They were all chatting away trying to keep hopes up and it was one of those nights. The nights where no one was allowed to be down in the dumps, and just relaxed.
Of course relaxing wasn't one the right word to describe it. Bryan, Xylo and brick got into a friendly argument. The rest were playing cards while listening in. Mars stared at them worryingly, Relina was just laughing at them before but down her stack of a royal flush and Mario groan in frustration as he lost for the sixth time in the row.
"What do you mean?! Hotdogs are not sandwiches!?" Bryan said back to Xylo. Xylo looked back at him innocently.
"I'm just saying that it's meat between bread," he said as he took a bite from a carrot.
"It's just one piece of bread!" Brick said while holding up his index finger.
"Then why is it between bread if it's not a sandwich?! What do you call it then?!"
Brick and Bryan just looked at him in disbelief, before continuing to convince Xylo.
An hour or two later, the noise began to quite down. The chats slowed down, and everything was just weird. The conversation were weird but yet funny. It was like all of them were a bunch of kids, laughing at anything. All the memories they shared and talked about.
Like the one time they tried to get a tortoise out of the water after Xylo chucked it in the water. Or the time they chased Brick down after he had a knife in his hands while alpha was gone. As well when bryan tried to save mars from a cockroach. Then ended up needing help from alpha cause of learning they could fly.
After a few stories and alpha silent judging, they all stayed silent before frowning. Even though it was all fun, they still had a war coming and it wasn't the same without Hannah. How they missed their fellow member. Bryan sighed as he tapped on the table. Re looking to the side trying to hide the tears. Mario looking down at his hands and brick and mars not sure what to do. Xylo looked at his cup of water before raising it up.
"To Hannah," he said while looking at everyone.
Everyone looked at him before grabbing their own drinks.
"To an amazing friend," Re said.
"To an amazing pack member," Bryan, Mars, and Brick included.
"To the best person their was," Xylo said.
Everyone looked at Mario. Waiting for him to say something. He stood up from his chair as he raised his cup.
"To our family member Hannah,"
Everyone joined in, "for Hannah!" They yell before taking a sip.

A ghost invisible inside a tavern looked at the werewolves with tears in their eyes. Or rather a form of it. They simply smiled as they raised their cups to the ghost. The ghost wished that they could see them. Or give them a sign that they were here. It wasn't until they looked at the wall in disbelief.
No.... they were looking at them, they were looking at Hannah. Most of them started to cry at the sight of Hannah. Some were reaching out to Hannah.
Hannah reached out but only for their hand to phase through. Hannah sighed and smiled. They were glad that they could let them know that they were still there.
Everyone was now hugging or holding hands with each other. Even if some of them didn't know each other well. The bond was there and strong. That night the pack made a promise to try and get hannah back.
