Out(Part Two)-Kevin Tran
~(A/N: Hey everybody! This is part two of the 'Out' one shot where the reader is male. This takes place at season 8, so Kevin's alive. I hope you enjoy!)~
Ever since you came out to your brothers, they had been really supportive. By now, almost all your friends and family knew, and you were glad that they responded so positively. Even your best friend, Kevin, was glad you finally were able to come out the closet.
"Hey Kev," you waved as you walked into the library of the bunker, where Kevin had once again been trying to decipher the tablet.
"Hey," Kevin muttered, looking more miserable than usual. He had bags under his eyes and a five o'clock shadow. He was so focused on the tablet, you were shocked he even recognized your existence.
"You've been at this for a while now. How about you go outside and get some sunshine?" you offered. He deserved a break for once.
Kevin shook his head, his eyes still fixated on the symbols on the tablet. "I can't. You guys are all counting on me. I can't let you down."
"You won't be able to help us if you die from exhaustion, Kev," you said, quickly snatching the tablet out of his grasp. You were taller than he was, so you were able to hold the tablet way above his reach.
"Hey!" he whined, trying but failing to take the tablet from my hands, "Give it back!"
"Only if you agree to go outside. We don't even have to be out that long."
The prophet hesitated, glancing back at forth between you and the tablet. You both stared each other down, waiting for the other to cave in. It was like a cowboy stand off in a Clint Eastwood movie. Both of you had your hands on your guns, waiting to see who would draw out their gun first. The scene was quiet, other than the sound of rattle snakes and the wind blowing dust and tumbleweed by. Finally, Kevin gave in, drawing his gun.
"Fine," he sighed, "You've got thirty minutes."
"An hour."
"Forty-five minutes."
"An hour."
"You're not being very fair."
"Are you forgetting who has the tablet here?" you arched a brow.
"Okay. An hour."
"Awesome," you smiled, turning to head into the garage. "Well come on, Tran."

"Are you sure Dean's okay with you driving the impala?" Kevin asked, sitting shotgun in the car as you drove.
You laughed. "Of course not."
He rolled his eyes in disbelief, and couldn't help but laugh as well. "So where are we headed anyway?"
"Somewhere."
"That's specific," Kevin said, his words dripping with sarcasm. To be honest, you had no clue where you were going to take him. You didn't expected him to actually agree to going outside.
"Oh stop complaining. I don't even remember the last time we've hung out together outside."
"Hey, I'm not complaining. I love spending time with you," Kevin smiled, "It's just, I've been really busy lately, (Y/N)."
You nod, sending a slight smile his way before focusing back onto the road ahead. "I get it."

"So this is your idea of a good time? A couple beers and listening to classic rock?" Kevin laughed, taking another swig from his bottle, "I forgot how much you were like your brother."
"It's the only music he has," you chuckled. You both lied on the hood of the car while "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles played, looking at the fluffy clouds above. You pointed to one with a smile, "That one looks kinda like you."
"No it doesn't," he giggled.
"Oh wait-" you paused, cupping a hand to your ear, "I can even hear it bragging about how it's in advanced placement."
"You're an idiot," he punched me playfully as he finished up his beer. You laughed and turned to the prophet, looking into his brown almond eyes. He always had that goofy, adorable smile when he looked at you.
You weren't sure if it was the beer, or just the heat of the moment, but that was when you decided to just lean in and kiss him. One hand was on your beer, while the other cupped his face as your lips collided. To your surprise, he didn't push you away and actually kissed back. The rhythm of your lips against his felt so in sync like the perfect melody to a song. Kevin's free hand slipped into your hair, his finger's bunching into a fist as his kisses became more passionate.
You didn't want the moment to end, but you knew you had to breath, so you slowly pulled away, staying hovered over him. Kevin smiled back at you. "What was that for?"
"Just wanted you to know that I'm your idiot. And you're mine," you smiled back, pecking him on the lips. "Well...if you want to be, of course."
"I'm in advanced placement. I'm definitely not an idiot, that's for sure," he giggled, causing you to punch him on the shoulder.
"Ow..." he laughed, leaning his head back down on the hood of the car. " But yeah, I like you too, (Y/N)."
