(Castiel cannot control his deep feelings for you. He watches you sleep to keep your nightmares at bay.)

For as long as the Winchester brothers had known Bobby, there was one big secrect he'd kept from them. It wasn't until after their father's death that they became much closer to Bobby; close enough to find out that he had a daughter. You lived on the top floor of Bobby's house, never stepping foot outside.

Ever since you had first learned about the evil in the world, you dedicated your life to studying it. You read through all of the files that your father had collected on his hunts, scanned over every centuries old book of spirits and demons. But as your knowledge expanded, your fear grew; you never wanted to encounter something supernatural. So you stay hidden away, even asking Bobby to keep you secret.

Soon after basically adopting Sam and Dean, Bobby had no choice but to introduce them to you. The three of you bonded extremely well, to the point where anyone would guess that you were all three siblings. Sam and Dean gave you a renewed sense of bravery. And just months after meeting, you slowly began to join them on more and more hunts. Your strength and tolerance grew with every encounter.

Now, there was a new creature roaming the earth; angels. An angel had pulled Dean out of hell just six months ago. His name was Castiel. And he watched over the three siblings, guiding them the best he could. Though he had a very difficult time getting Sam and Dean to follow his guidance, you were quite obedient. You almost never questioned Cas's judgement, and you were open minded. You'd follow his guidance with bright eyes and an angelic smile. And Castiel had grown quite fond of that. He'd never felt this feeling before, and that scared him a little. But it was a nice, comforting feeling, so he trusted it and let his heart float on.

Thinking of you, Cas decided to pop in for a visit. His surroundings changed into those of a cheap hotel room. It was only dimly lit by the moonlight that shone through the half covered windows. Sam was asleep on the couch in the small living room. On the opposite side of the hotel room where too beds where you and Dean slept separately. Cas walked slowly and quietly over to the side of your bed and sat carefully on the matress beside your sleeping body.

Castiel peered down into your flawless face. Thick lashes lined your gently closed eyes like butterfly wings. Your lips were plump and rosy, slightly chapped from the cool weather outside. Your hair framed your face in a beautiful mess. After a few moments of just staring at you, Cas found that his heart felt light and a warm feeling washed over his body. A smile planted itself on his lips.

Then all of a sudden, your face changed. The look of peace that laid on the hotel pillow twisted into one of discomfort. Castiel could tell right away that a nightmare had wedged into your sleeping mind. With a slow movement, he brushed his right hand across your forehead and down your cheek. Immediately, your face became soft once again; he had replaced your nightmare with a good dream.

Castiel kept his hand on your cheek and found that he had leaned down closer to you, faces a foot apart. But he felt the urge to move in closer. Why? He thought to himself for a moment, her face is very nice to look at this close, but what pleasure could I possibly receive from moving closer? But he did move closer, until only six inches separated your faces. Then he moved closer again. Cas's heart fluttered and began to beat faster.

The tip of Castiel's nose now touched yours just ever so slightly. He could feel your relaxed breaths blowing warm air down onto his lips, causing butterflies to flutter through his chest. The only sound was that of his deep breathing, so quiet he could barely even hear it, though he swore he could hear the faint pumping of your heart. He knew what it was that he wanted now. And although he respected you, he couldn't stop himself. He was stuck in a trance, lost in the beauty of your face, he inched closer and closer and closer...

Instinctively Castiel let his eyes fall shut as his lips landed gracefully on yours. It was a new experience for him. Your lips felt soft and warm against his, like little plush cushions. They did not kiss back, for you were sound asleep, but Castiel had never felt happier. And when you did begin to stir, he felt a small pressure on his own lips that was not there before. Your lips came to life, letting the kiss lengthen.

Still half asleep, you felt a gentle hand cup her cheek; a large, soft hand. It sent a pleasant wave of warmth through her body. Mind blurry with sleep, you weren't sure what was happening, or if it was even real. All you knew what what your instincts were sleepily telling you. You could feel the love and passion radiating off of you mystery kisser. You didn't know who it was, but you could tell that who ever it was did truly love you. As your mind began to wake up more, you found yourself realizing the oddity if the situation.

You ended the kiss and opened your tired eyes just in time to see the silver moon light shining through the motel windows, illuminating the face of the handsome angel. "Cas...?" You croaked in both shock and joy. You saw him staring down at you with a soft smile and watched as his figure faded. Then he was gone, leaving behind nothing but the warmth that he had placed in your heart.
