Ulvah Lee brushed her blue hair into a small ponytail as she entered the kitchen. She put a kettle on the stove and began to boil water to make tea. It was morning, making the orange sunlight filter through the small kitchen window.

The apartment she had was decent sized with three bedrooms, but there wasn't anything fancy about it. It was just a place for her and the other girls to live in with low paying jobs. Most of them didn't have a higher education than high school because of the undercover work they took up.

Saving people, hunting things...

Ulvah was more of a night owl, so she needed her time to wake up in the morning without too much commotion coming from the others. However, the early bird, Hana, came scuffling into the kitchen.

"Morning, Vee," Hana greeted. She halted and scanned the kettle. "Are you making tea? And you didn't offer me any?" Hana was the biggest tea lover out of everyone Ulvah knew. Even more than herself.

Hana was the only one of the girls to not live with the group. She had to have a separate place to stay with her younger brother, Jisung, who was only seventeen and still finishing high school. Hana said that she preferred not to get him involved with any business they were dealing with.

Ulvah sighed, looking at the stove. "Hana, would you like some tea?"

Hana smiled brightly. "That's so sweet of you to offer! I would love some tea!"

Ulvah opened the cabinet to pull out two mugs and set them on the counter, along with two tea bags. "Are the others still sleeping?"

Hana pressed her lips together while sitting down at the dining table. "I know Lydia is looking up articles about the recent disappearances because she let me in while on the computer. Speaking of which, there has to be something going on with these recent events."

Ulvah nodded in agreement. "Are you planning on interviewing the victim's families?"

"I talked to Chu-Chu yesterday on my way home and he has my FBI badge ready," Hana informed.

Chu-Chu was an older man that was a close friend to Hana and owned the local bar, Chu-Chu's. He always seemed to have a way of getting ahold of uncommon objects and props. Whenever anyone needed a costume or fake ID, Chu-Chu was the guy to go to. He was the hidden gem for these girls and their job.

"That's good." Ulvah picked up the steaming kettle and began to poor the boiling water into the mugs. "Especially since you accidentally dropped it off the bridge we found that ghost lady at."

Hana gave a breathy laugh. "Yeah. She really needed something to lift her spirits."

Ulvah smacked her forehead with her free hand, giving a loud sigh while Hana began to crack up.

"The door is that way," Jay Si grumbled, pointing behind her and entering the kitchen. Her sleepy face was almost in a pout as she got herself a glass of water.

"Come on," Hana continued with a grin still present on her face. "Not even a smile? That was good!"

Jay Si took her water and left the kitchen.

"She's not a morning person," Hana sighed.

"She's not an anything person," Ulvah corrected as she took a drink of her tea. "When was the last time you saw her smile?"

Hana thought for a second. "When Sookyu tripped and dropped her ice cream last week."

Ulvah slowly nodded. "Exactly." She quickly finished off her drink, checking the clock hanging on the wall. "I need to head over to my grandmother's since it's Saturday."

Every Saturday, Ulvah took off time to visit her grandmother and help care for her. Ulvah was one of the only people in her family around to take care of her, besides Ulvah's siblings. She made this a priority. Her grandmother was loved by all the girls in the group because she was the wisest and kindest person they knew.

"Tell Grandma Lee I said hi," Hana requested.

"Will do." Ulvah set the mug down by the sink. "Remind Audriana that it's her turn to do the dishes." She picked up the car keys from the mantel by the door and grabbed her black jacket. "See you guys later!" Ulvah called to everyone in their apartment.

Scattered bye's were shouted from the girls. Ulvah walked out the door and headed to the stairs leading outside. She unlocked their black 1967 Chevy Impala, but stopped before opening the door. A group of about seven boys were walking into the motel across the street. Ulvah found it to be a bit weird to see a big group of guys visiting this town. There isn't much to offer since it was quaint, and most are turned away by the odd disappearances.

They're probably just passing through, Ulvah concluded in her head. She pushed it away and got into the car.
