Sam X Fire-Bender Reader (Request)

Fire that was all you could remember of that fateful night long ago. You had just come in from playing outside with the neighborhood children when you spotted an intruder standing over your mother’s bloody corpse. “Mommy,” You said eyes wide with fear as you stared at the tall man with black eyes hovering over your mother’s corpse. “_______, how nice of you to join us.” “What did you do to my mommy?!” You cried out as tears filled your eyes. “She wasn’t your real mother ______, just some human who kidnapped you when you were a child.”

“That’s not true!” You scream out at the man anger filling your little body. The man chuckled as he started to walk closer to you, “Oh it is, do you want to know who your real parents are?” You shook your head violently as you said, “NO! Go away!” “I’m afraid if I go you have to go with me.” You suddenly start to feel your body heat up in anger. “I’m not going anywhere with you!” The man laughed as he said, “I’m afraid that isn’t going to happen, Alistair wouldn’t be very happy with me if I just left his daughter here to grow up alone.” He walked closer to you and as he reached his hand out to you, you yelled, “I said leave me alone!”

All of the sudden your body burst into flame making the man’s eyes widen with fear as he backed away from you. “Stop it ______, you don’t know what you’re doing!” As your anger grew so did the flame it was a beautiful mixture of red and orange. “I said stop!” He said as he waved his hand to send you flying but you remained standing there your flame raging wildly around you.

All the sudden it was as if someone else had taken control of your body making you punch a hand toward him sending a flame of reddish orange over to cover his body burning him. The man made some unholy screeches as he tried to put the flame out. You watched as he tilted his head back and black smoke left his body leaving it to burn. “Mommy,” You said as you cautiously walked over to her only to be pulled out the front door by an unknown man. “Calm down would ya kid, I ain’t gonna hurt ya!” You heard him say and your flame instantly vanished leaving nothing but tears behind.

It felt like centuries had passed since the night you learned you were someone else’s child. You sigh as you toss back and forth in your bed listening to your adopted father Bobby Singer argue with someone downstairs. You had been asleep but their arguing had wakened you from your constant nightmares of that fateful night. With one last groan of annoyance you roll over onto your back and lifting your hand above you, you snap your fingers causing a small sliver of fire to appear emanating from your pointer finger.

Since you were annoyed and a bit stressed your flame was a pale blue color. Flicking your hand back and forth you draw a devils trap in the air smiling when you completed it. “Leave her outta this dammit!” You hear Bobby yell and your fire disappears leaving not a trace behind. “Who is he talking about?” You say as you slowly crawl out of bed and trudge over to your bedroom door opening it to hear their conversation. “Dammit Bobby you can’t live with a Half-demon in your house especially Alistair’s daughter!” The voice was obviously a older man’s could it be someone you’ve heard before? “Dammit Rufus don’t tell me what I can and can’t do with my own kid!” Rufus, you knew him well. He was Bobby’s friend but he was always giving you second glances like you were a bomb about to explode.

“Bobby, what’s going to happen when he learns his daughter is here under your roof?” “I’ll deal with that when the time comes!” Unable to hear anymore you slam the door open and stomping down the stair walk into the office and say, “Let that bastard come after me, I have a score to settle with him anyway!” “______, calm down no one’s coming after you.” Bobby says as he walks over to you and gently placing a hand on your shoulder gives you a soft smile. You glance back at Rufus eyes burning with anger and say, “That Demon is not my father, he has no right to come and claim me.”

Rufus opens his mouth to reply but is silenced by the front door swinging wide open revealing a red faced Dean Winchester followed by a tall man you didn’t know. “Bobby will you please explain to Sam that, oh hey _______, Um did we interrupt something?” Dean says as he looks back and forth between you and the other men. “Nothing I was just leaving, please think about what I said Bobby,” Rufus says as he quickly walks past you and out the door. “Grrrr!” You growl as you stomp over to Bobby’s desk and sit down behind it.

“Okay, we obviously interrupted something. What’s up Bobby?” Dean says as he folds his arms over his chest. “Oh just Rufus voicing his opinion again, why are you two here?” “Oh right, will you please tell Sam he can’t go after Alistair on his own!” “Why can’t I? I have just as much reason to want him dead as you do!” The tall and rather handsome man yelled back at Dean making you raise your eyebrow. “Um excuse me but if anyone has a right to kill Alistair it’s me.” You say as you stand and fold your arms over your chest. “Oh no, you’re not killing anyone.” Bobby says as he turns toward you his eyes filled with concern. “Why not?” You ask as you feel your fire start to rise out of anger almost making itself visible to everyone. Before Bobby had a chance to reply Dean was at your side trying to calm you down, “Come on ______, you’re both pissed now’s not the time to have this conversation.” “But Dean he knows how much this means to me.” You say as you turn toward your friend eyes filled with fire.

“Look why don’t we all calm down and talk about it tomorrow?” Dean says as he gently places his hand on your shoulder making your fire die down. “Fine,” You say as you walk past them and into the kitchen. Letting out a sigh you open the fridge and pull out a beer downing it in seconds. “Mind if I join you?” You hear a voice ask from behind you and turning see the man named Sam standing in the doorway. “Sure,” You say as you motion for him to sit at the table. “Beer?” You ask opening the fridge pulling out two beers. “Yeah thanks.”

Handing him one of the beers you sit down at the table beside him. “So how do you know Dean?” You say as you take a sip of your beer. “I’m his brother,” You choke on your beer as you say, “What? I didn’t know Dean had a brother,” Sam nods a faint smile covering his lips revealing a set of pearly white teeth. “I’ve been away for a while, at Stanford.” You smile as you say, “You left college for a hunter’s life, why?” His smile fades as he says, “It’s a long story,” You could tell from his facial expression that it was a touchy subject so you quickly changed the subject. “So if you don’t mind me asking, why are you after Alistair?” His jaw clenches as he says, “He’s caused my family a lot of pain and he’ll pay for it.”

“It seems you and I have a common enemy Sam Winchester, mind if I tag along?” You say a devilish smirk covering your lips. “Why do you want to go after him?” He says his eyebrows narrowed in confusion. “I take it Dean hasn’t told you anything about me.” Sam shakes his head making you smile a light chuckle leaving your lips. “Well let me clue you in,” You quickly tell him about who and what you where and his face whitens a bit making your heart clench for some unknown reason. “You’re his daughter?” “Bingo, so if anyone deserves to kill that bastard it’s me.” You say your eyes narrowing. “And you create fire?” Your eyes relax as you nod and lifting your hand up in front of you snap your fingers to reveal a bright red flame. His eyes widen as he looks at your hand.

“I take it your scared of me now?” You say a hint of sadness lingering on your lips. “A little maybe, but you don’t seem like the type of person to hurt an innocent.” He says a faint smile filling his face. Your fire dissipates as you stare into his beautiful bluish green eyes. You had to admit Sam was rather handsome, and that was new for you. You didn’t go around falling for just anyone and no one had ever caught your eye like he did. You smile brightly as you say, “You wanna see something cool?” he smiles as he says, “Sure,” Grabbing his hand you pull him from the table to the back door and after making sure no one was watching pull him outside.

“Where are we going?” He asks as you make it too the garage. “Here works. Now you have to promise me you won’t freak out.” “Okay?” You smile as you take a few steps away and placing a hand on your heart let your flame go. It erupts around you like a match striking and slowly turns from its wild red to a cooler green color making you smile. You open your eyes to see him staring at it in wonder a smile on his face. “It’s beautiful,” He says as he looks into your eyes making your heart clench. What was it about him that made your heart react like that? You thought to yourself as you smile brighter. Whatever it was you liked the feeling and were curious to see where it would lead to.

You reach out a hand to him as you say, “Take my hand,” He looks back at the house before he reaches forward and once your fingers touched the green color instantly turned a bright shade of pink. A bright smile covered his face as he saw that the fire wouldn’t burn him. “How is this possible?” He asks as he uses his free hand to touch the tip of the flame. “It won’t burn anyone I don’t want it too.” You say causing him to turn toward you his face inches from yours. His breath felt warm against your skin as the two of you stared into each other’s eyes. Your heart starts to race as he leans down and gently place a kiss on your lips making your fire grow higher and brighter, the color now a mixture of red and pink.

You instantly feel his hands wrap around your waist pulling you closer to him making your body ache for more of his touch. “Well isn’t this a surprise?” You hear a male voice say making you push away from Sam and turn toward it. “Alistair.” You hear Sam say through gritted teeth making your anger rise as you got a better look at the man. “I see you two have met, saves me the time of introducing you.” “How dare you!” You say as you step out in front of Sam. “Beg your pardon?” He says his white eyes glancing from Sam to you. “How dare you show your face to me?” All of the sudden your fire turns red and starts to blaze angrily around you. “Come now is that anyway to speak to your father?”

“You are not my father!” You yell out as you throw a fireball at him. He laughs as he swiftly steps out of the way.  “What’s the matter still mad about mommy?” He says as waves his hand sending Sam flying backwards pining him to the garage wall with a loud bang. “Ahhhh!” you scream out as you throw fireball after fireball at him. “How dare you talk about my mother you murderer!” “_______!” You hear Bobby call out your name as he comes from around a pile of cars followed by Dean. “Sammy!” You hear Dean yell out and glance back to see Sam pinned against the garage making your fire grow wilder with rage. “Let him go!” “Only if you calm down and talk to me like a reasonable adult.” “Are you freaking kidding me?” “Ah, ah, ah now we wouldn’t want poor Sam to end up like his dear old dad now would we?”

The sudden memory of John Winchester made your fire die instantly, there was no way you wanted Sam to end up like that. “Good girl,” Alastair says with a wave of his hand making Sam fall to the ground gasping for air. “Why?” You say as you slowly turn back to face Alastair. “Pardon?” “Why did you create me and then kill my mother?” “Azazel has Meg, I only wanted a child of my own; one with the ability to control fire and powers like my own.” “You torture souls for a living, why would I ever want to do that?” He chuckles as he turns to Dean and says, “Once you start it’s like a drug making you crave it.”

You look over to see Dean clenching his jaw in anger making yours rise wanting to protect your friend. “Leave them alone,” “Why would I do that?” “Because I asked nicely and,” “And what?” You smile as you start your fire back up it glowing a bright shade of purple. “Because, they’re my family.” Alastair frowns as he raises his hand toward them only to be blocked by your fire flowing in front of them shielding them from his attacks. “Your quarrel is with me ‘FATHER’,” You said the last word with as much hate and sarcasm as you could muster. “This isn’t over.” He says as he disappears without a trace.

Your fire dissipates as you turn toward the men you called your family and smiled. After making sure Sam was okay Bobby ran over and wrapped his arms around you. “You foolish brat,” He says as he kisses the top of your head.  You wrap your arms around him and smile as you say, “I love you daddy.” “I love you too.” When he pulls away from you, you turn to see Dean run over and as he lifts you into the air says, “Way to go firecracker!” you laughed at the nickname as he sat you back down on your feet. Looking past Dean you see Sam standing there not sure what to say. A smile covers your face as you run over and jump into his arms kissing his lips roughly. “Oh come on really?!” Dean says as he turns away from the two of you. “Oh no not happening, get down ______!” Bobby says as he walks over to you and Sam and pulls the two of you apart making you and Sam laugh.

This was what you wanted, a family worth fighting for. You look to where Alastair had been and a devilish smile creeps across your lips, maybe not today but one day you would make him pay because you had one thing he didn’t. You had the Winchesters. “You okay?” You hear Sam ask as he takes you hand. “Never been better,” You say as your grip tightens on his. “Let’s go back inside, I want to continue from where we left off.” Sam smiles as he says, “I don’t think Bobby would like that idea.” “True,” You say as you look past Sam to see Bobby and Dean walking back to the house. “I guess he’ll just have to get used to it.” You say as you reach up and grabbing the collar of his plaid shirt pull his lips down to yours. He smiles as he says into your lips, “I agree.”
