Michael and Lucifer x Child!Reader- Stay Still

You were one year old. Only one. Sam and Dean had found you discarded on the side of the road and couldn't just leave you there, so they took you in. You had immediately loved the boys and they had fallen in love with you, doing whatever you asked and being the best big brothers you could ask for.

Well, Michael and Lucifer had been released from their cage, and the Winchesters were too far from the bunker to travel that night. Plus, you were getting cranky because you had missed your nap and it was very late, so Sam and Dean just thought it was best to rent a motel room with a crib. You usually sleep with one your big brothers, but there was a crib in this room so you were forced to sleep there. Michael and Lucifer, now humanized, had to sleep in the same bed, leaving Sam and Dean to share the other.

After a couple hours of restless sleep, you climbed down from your crib. You waddled over to the archangels and tugged on Lucifer's arm, which was hanging over the bed. He gently scooped you up, as if it was instinct, and plopped you in between him and Michael. You babbled the word 'cold' and shivered in your thin sleep clothes. Michael, who was shirtless and burning up, wrapped an arm around you since he was on his back.

You cuddled into him and eventually got restless again, hot in the archangel's hold. You wiggled out and snuggled into Lucifer's cool body, even though he was wearing a shirt. He muttered "stay still" as he turned over.

You whined softly and pulled on his shirt. "'U-i," you whined, unable to say your 'c's or 'l's. He shifted onto his back while Michael turned over. You pushed your little body under his arm and he easily held you, letting you fall asleep. You stuck his shirt into your mouth to teethe on and fell asleep.

~the next morning~

Sam and Dean woke up in a frenzie when they couldn't find you. You were usually in your crib, and now you were no where to be found. Dean suddenly paused and shushed his brother. "Shh, listen," he said.

Sam listened hard and heard soft baby snores from under the heap of blankets that were Michael and Lucifer. Michael kicked out and Lucifer groaned, being attacked by his brother's foot. "Michael stay still," he grumbled from under the blankets. Suddenly, the soft snores stopped and were replaced by baby babbling.

"'Ikey," you babbled, crawling onto his chest. You sat up and the covers fell away, exposing your adorable baby bedhead and still sleepy frame. "Hung'y."

"Lucifer," Michael kicked his brother. "Get the fledgling food. Brother's orders."

"Bite me," Lucifer replied, turning over.

"Do it."

"No."

"I'm your big brother and you will obey me!"

"You're not my brother and I don't obey anyone!"

The shouting was really upsetting you so you burst into tears, crawling under the blankets and crying. Sam rushed to you and took you out from the blankets, shushing you and rocking you back and forth. "Shh, baby girl. It's okay," Sam soothed. You simply cried more when Michael shouted some rough insults at his brother.

"Hey! Will you two stop scaring y/n??" Dean shouted. You cried some more and Sam had no idea how to calm you.

"Shh, shh," he repeated. You just cried into his chest, scared by the loud voices. You were also hungry and not a morning person, so you were just irritable and scared.

Michael and Lucifer had been talking secretly. Lucifer looked like he was disagreeing with his big brother, but he eventually gave in. He fell into the bed on his stomach. "Okay," he muttered.

"Put the kid on Luce's back, in between his shoulder blades. The fledglings used to love it when he did this," Michael smirked.

"Shut up," the Devil muttered. Sam hesitantly placed a still blubbering you on the archangel's back. Suddenly, two massive wings fluttered into view and fanned into the morning sun. They glowed a bit and just amazed your little one year old mind. You reached out and stood on Lucifer's back, touching the soft feathers and babbling softly as you calmed down.

"B'ite!" You cried to your brother's. "Peaters!" You giggled, still holding onto the soft wings.

The boys were so focused on the little girl, that they didn't notice Michael and Lucifer smiling softly and giving each other thumbs up.

So, just a cute little fic. You know the archangels are big old softies for kids, maybe. I mean, they raised Heaven, so, yeah. Anyway, no meme, sorry, my internet is fucked. schools a bitch, i want to die. Peace
