Requested Crossover #5 - Umbrella Academy
Imagine being teleported to the universe of the Umbrella Academy with your brothers.
A/n - for obvious reasons, the storyline is going to be different considering the complicated plot of The Umbrella Academy. I tried to make it as close as possible though.
So, let's pretend that Five doesn't really age physically. Idk, just go with it 😆
Also, thank you @i-need-a-social-life for requesting this! Please go check out her stories!
Also, I may do a second part depending on how y'all like this one.

There was an anomaly. A crazed whirling mess of blue in the sky, dragging things towards it.
It appeared out of nowhere, meaning you and your brothers were completely unprepared except for the backpacks you were each wearing.
You were dragged in first, screaming as you went through the vortex. Sam and Dean wasted no time in jumping after you, determined to not let anything happen to their little sister.
It was probably a good thing they came with you.
~
You land on a pile of rubble, wincing at the pain sparking in your hands. Managing to roll out of the way before they land, you watch as Sam and Dean fall on top of each other.
"What the hell was that?!" Dean questions angrily, standing to his feet in a huff.
"Dude, I don't-"
A new voice startles you, interrupting Sam, "No! This wasn't supposed to happen! The equation must be wrong."
You turn to look at the speaker, finding a boy around your age muttering to himself and a mannequin.
"Um, hello?" You greet cautiously, wary of any danger. Sam and Dean have already taken out their weapons, pointing them at the stranger.
The boy ignores you.
"Hey!" Dean shouts, trying to get his attention, "What the hell is this?!"
Your eldest brother succeeded in gaining the stranger's focus.
"I don't have time to explain anything," he huffs in irritation. "You may have just ruined everything!"
You're confused to say the least, "We didn't mean for this to happen. We were just minding our own damn business."
Sam speaks up, "Where are we anyways?"
"The future," the mysterious stranger says.
You scoff, "The future?"
The vast amount of rubble and dust surrounding you absorb your words as the boy sighs heavily.
"Look, I know it's shit, but it's the future, believe it or not."
"Say we believe you, how'd we get dragged here?" Sam asks the question of the day.
"I can teleport through space and time. I was trying to get back to the time that the apocalypse happened-"
Dean interrupts, "The apocalypse? Lucifer escaped the Cage?!"
Now it's the stranger's turn to stare at you and your brothers as if you'd all gone and grown extra heads.
"What are you on about?"
You exhale slowly, "First things first, I'm Y/n Winchester. These are my brothers, Sam and Dean. Apparently, your vortex thing transported us here."
"I'm Number Five," he replies.
"Um, you go by 'Number' or 'Five'?" You ask for clarification.
"Five is fine."
"Okay, Five. Do you know how the apocalypse happened?"
"No," he seems deflated, "But I know when it happens, which is why I'm trying to get back."
"Okay, so the plan is to stop the apocalypse... again," Dean supplies. "We got this."
Five turns away, but you hear him mutter beneath his breath, "Just my luck to get stuck with a bunch of crazy people, isn't it, Delores?"
You share a glance with your bros, still flabbergasted. This was not what you were expecting when you woke up this morning.
Following Five into the broken down circular building, you stumble upon a book. Glancing down, you see the title - 'Extra Ordinary: My Life As Number Seven'.
You pick it up, discovering that it's an autobiography. Sam and Dean start to converse, trying to think of a way back while you flip through the book.
You stop flipping the pages when you find a picture of a group of kids in uniforms. There on the page is Five standing next to a diverse group of children.
You read the back of the book, gaining the information of an eccentric billionaire who adopted seven 'special' children all born in the same day. These children all had superpowers, except for one - Vanya Hargreaves, the author of the book.
"Hey, Five, is this real?" You ask him, holding the book up.
He nods, "Yes. Your clothes are from my time period, you must have been living under a rock to not have heard of the Umbrella Academy."
"Sam, Dean, we're not in Kansas anymore," you inform them. "I think we're in an alternate reality."
"Not again," Dean groans.
Sam tried thinking rationally, "Are you a nephilim? A half-angel? Only a nephilim can travel between dimensions."
"Those don't exist. Angels aren't real," he sneers.
"They do where we're from," you reassure, "And where we're from, superpowers don't exist."
Five's eyes meet yours, "Then this just got a whole lot more complicated."
~
You explain your world to Five and he explains his.
Sam and Dean offer to help him stop his apocalypse in whatever way they can, and he assures them that he will try to get you all back to the right universe.
Meanwhile, you've been binge reading the autobiography about him and his family, realizing how Five ended up at the end of the world.
"Five, your family is as dysfunctional as mine," you chuckle, sitting next to him as he scribbles theories and - what looks like nonsense to you - in a notebook.
Sam and Dean went to rummage around for food and extra supplies, leaving you with the strange boy.
"I doubt that. Mine takes the cake," he says, furiously scribbling out something.
You rest a hand on his arm, "Hey, take it easy. You'll figure out, I know you will."
He looks to you, seeming to relax instantly, "Thanks, Y/n."
"Come on, maybe talking about it out loud will help." You glance at the equation he wrote, not bothering to pretend to understand it. "What if you switched this around?"
You point to a number and hum thoughtfully, "This would work there, and you need a number to factor in the addition of me and my brothers." You glance at him. He seems to be lost in thought, "Does that work?"
His eyes snap to yours instantaneously, "Y/n, you're a genius! We've figured it out!"
"We have?"
"Yes!" He scrambles to his feet and writes the new equation on the chalkboard. Grinning broadly, he explains the complicated mathematics to you. You nod, although you can hardly grasp at what he's saying.
He helps you stand to your feet, and, in the heat of the moment, hugs you tightly. You smile and hug him back, "Great! Now we can stop the end of the world!"
~
Sam and Dean are sceptical, as usual.
"You're sure?"
"I know what I'm doing," Five snaps.
Dean raises his brow, "You say that last time too?"
Five glowers at Dean, who glares right back.
You step between them, "Five knows what he's doing."
"His name is Five. How can you trust someone with a number for a name?!" Dean yells in exasperation.
Your icy gaze stops Dean in his tracks, "Stay here if you want. Enjoy the outdated Twinkies."
"Y/n, wait," Sam steps in. "Dean, he's our only chance."
Dean sighs, "Fine, but if we end up dead, I'm blaming you."
You smile and nod at Five, who begins to create a whirling blue vortex like before. Peering closer, you see a group of people standing on the other side.
Without warning, a fire extinguisher flies through the portal, landing with a thud in front of you.
"At least we know it's working," you quip.
Five's face is scrunched in concentration, "Go through! I'm right behind you!"
"Okay," you say, looking at him with a small nervous smile before stepping into the portal.
You land with a thump, quick to stand as your brothers collapse behind you.
The people before you are an odd assortment, a huge hulking man, a man in a skirt with a faint moustache and goatee, a woman with gorgeous curly hair, another man in a weird outfit holding a knife, and a girl in a frumpy shirt with her hair tied back.
"Um, hello," you greet with a small wave.
"Who the hell are you?" Knife Boy questions threateningly.
You look at the knife, "Ask nicely and I might tell you, Diego."
"How'd you know his name?" Hulk questions.
Five lands beside you and the vortex dissipates, "Hello."
The shock seems to multiply on their faces, "Five? How-?"
He pushes past them and enters the kitchen. You and your brothers follow, Dean shooting a glare at Diego.
"Alright," Five says as he begins to make a marshmallow and peanut butter sandwich. He looks to you, silently asking if you want one. You shrug and nod.
He continues speaking, "I know you all have questions, and rightfully so." Five points to you, Sam and Dean. "These are the Winchesters, Y/n, Sam, and Dean. I accidentally pulled them from their universe into ours and now they're stuck here."
Five hands you a sandwich and you start to devour it without question, "These are my siblings, Vanya, Allison, Klaus, Diego, and Luther."
Sam smiles awkwardly, "Hi."
A chorus of mumbled hellos follow his voice.
Klaus speaks up, "So, you're from a different reality? Do we exist there?"
"Um, I'm not sure. Certainly not how you do here though," you answer, "There are no super-powered people where we're from."
"Huh, that figures."
Five continues to talk to them before clamping a hand on your wrist and dragging you out the door.
"Where are you going?!" Luther and Dean yell at the same time.
You shrug as Five shouts over his shoulder, "To get a decent cup of coffee!"
As you disappear from the mansion, Dean looks at Sam. "Like a date?"
They turn to the rest of the strange family, unsure of what to do. Dean chuckles, "So, got any beer?"
~
You sit at the counter of a donut shop, enjoying a steaming cup of coffee. Five sighs in contentment, "I haven't had a cup of coffee like this for fifty years."
"I keep forgetting that you're old," you chuckle. "It's like that back home with some of our friends. Castiel - he's an angel - has been around since the beginning of time and yet he can act like such a child."
"Well, I'm not one to act childishly," he sips his drink.
You roll your eyes, "I didn't mean that I think you're a kid. Look at me. What assumptions can you make?"
His eyes skim over you, "From what I've seen, you live your family. You're not afraid, of anything I think."
"You know why that is?"
He shakes his head, "Maybe from having to deal with your idiot brothers?"
"They're dorks, certainly, but they're the world to me. And, I'm not scared of anything, except for losing them, because I've already seen the worst that the world has to offer," you explain. "And, I spent roughly fifty years in literal hell, so there's that."
He smiles softly, "I think you're the toughest, bravest girl I've ever met."
"I think you're the bravest, smartest, and handsomest boy I've met," you try not to blush.
"I'm glad you came to get coffee with me," he continues.
You grin, "I'm glad you dragged me along. But, we shouldn't leave my brothers unsupervised for long. I have a feeling Diego and Dean are gonna clash. We probably don't have to worry about Sam, except all his girlfriends seem to die, so better keep him away from your sisters."
"Let's go figure out how to save the world," he sighs.
You clasp his hand as you stand, "Don't worry, its often not as hard as you think."
