A raw scream escapes your lips as you look at your brothers' bodies for the hundredth time. You couldn't save them and now you're alone. Cas is gone, and it's just you.
You sob and look at them again. You haven't been able to give them a proper hunter's burial yet, still holding onto the hope that they'll come back somehow.
You can't live without them. They've only been gone a few hours and already you've fallen to pieces. Panic swells as you remember how they died.
~
The demon holds you against the wall, about to kill you. Sam shouts and tackles him. The demon stabs Sam in the heart, leaving him bleeding on the floor. He returns to end you, but Dean intervenes only to be viciously attacked.
You scream and lunge at the demon, managing to stab it with the demon blade.
You run to Sam and Dean's side, hoping that they're alright. Sam's eyes are closed and he's not breathing.
"SAM!" You yell, shaking him and trying to get him to wake up.
A faint groan diverts your attention and you turn to Dean. He's bleeding profusely, and his eyes are closing.
"NO!, DEAN!" You beg him to wake up.
He cracks his eyes open and smiles faintly at you, "I love you..."
"No, Dean, please, you're gonna be alright. Please! I can't do this without you!" You plead even after his eyes have closed and his breathing stops.
You shake them, "Please...you can't die..."
~
The memory causes you to shake and cry uncontrollably. It was all your fault. If you hadn't been there then they'd be fine.
You grab the whiskey bottle that is already half gone and swallow many gulps of the burning liquid. There has to be a way to get them back.
The situation reminds you of when dad sold his soul to save Dean. You nod and quickly gather the ingredients for a summoning spell, determined to bring them back.
You light the match and set fire to the contents of the bowl and wait.
"Hello, darling, what can I do for you." Crowley asks as he steps out of the shadows.
You clench your teeth, "Bring them back."
He raises his eyebrow, "Beg your pardon?"
"Please bring them back! I'll do anything!" You plead.
This statement causes him to turn his head and focus on you intently. "Your soul."
You swallow and nod, "Of course."
"And, since I'm in a generous mood, I'll give you a year. It's the only deal you'll get."
You weigh the consequences. A year with them, or the rest of your life without. The choice is easy.
"Deal," you say in a harsh whisper.
He smiles and steps towards you. Crowley leans in and smashes his lips against yours. It's not gentle or passionate, but your desperation fuels it.
He steps back and smiles again, "See you in a year, darling."
He disappears and you race to where you left Sam and Dean's bodies. To your huge relief, they are awake and looking around in confusion.
"I'm so glad you're okay!" You shout and embrace them in a huge bear hug.
They turn to you, confused.
"Y/n, how are we alive?" Sam asks tentatively.
You shrug, deciding to lie to ease their pain, "I don't know, I'm just glad you are."
Crowley watches from the shadows, glad that his plan to get you to sell your soul worked. He got exactly what he wanted.
