You sit on the couch in the bunker and read an old lore book. Your brothers are researching the next case and you're just reading for fun. Sam and Dean are also talking about what to eat for dinner.

"Cheese burgers," Dean mumbles as he skim reads a large dusty book.

Sam shakes his head, "Salad."

You roll your eyes as they argue, flipping to the next page of your book. As their argument grows, you close the book and fix a glare on them.

"I'll make supper. We're gonna have chicken breasts, salad, and rice. Any complaints?" You say as you stand and grab the keys to the car.

"Sounds good," Dean comments while Sam nods.

"Okay, I'll be back in a bit. You guys need anything from the store?"

Dean looks up, "Pie!"

You sigh, "Yes, Dean, I'll get pie. I always get pie."

You hop into the car and drive to the grocery store. Getting all the ingredients that you need, you pay for them and make your way back to the car.

You get to the bunker and unload everything into the kitchen. Then, you prepare the food and place the chicken into the oven and place the rice in the rice cooker.

Walking into the room where Sam and Dean are, you stop when you notice Gadreel and Castiel. A grin forms on your face as you take in the majestic sight of Gadreel's huge, white feathered wings.

Ever since you met him, you've been able to see his glorious wings. You don't know why or how, but you do know that they are beautiful. At first, his wings were tattered and shredded from the fall, but now they look healthy and strong.

"Hey Gadreel, Cas! I didn't know you were coming over!" You chirp happily, coming to stand by them.

"Hello Y/n," Gadreel smiles a bit.

You grin back at him as Cas greets you as well. "I made dinner, do you want to eat with us? There's enough for everyone."

Gadreel nods with a pleased expression. You try to not stare at his wings as they fold against his back, still visible to you. No one knows that you can see his wings since you decided not to tell anyone. You don't really know why you didn't say anything, but you trust your instincts.

"Great!" You smile and go to set the table and finish preparing the food.

You look at it in satisfaction before calling for them, "It's ready!"

Gadreel is the first to enter and sit down with his wings still tucked against his back. You give him a smile and he returns it.

They rest of the boys come in and take a seat. You're the last to sit down facing the usually uptight angel. Everyone digs into the food, and you can tell from the moans of pleasure and smiles that you get that they love your cooking.

"Sis, this is great!" Dean says, biting into the chicken. "You should cook more often."

You beam with pride as Gadreel, Cas, and Sam agree. You know that angels can't really taste food the same way that humans can, but their compliments still matter to you.

After supper, you start cleaning up. To your surprise, Gadreel stands and starts helping you by drying and putting away the dishes that you wash. You glance up at him and grin.

"Thanks, Gadreel. You know you don't have to."

He smiles and drys a plate, "I want to help."

It doesn't take long to clean up, and after that is done, you decide to go for a walk. You debate asking Gadreel if he wants to come along.

"Hey, Gadreel, you wanna take a walk with me?" You tentatively question.

He nods, "Certainly."

You grin and watch how his wings sway and flutter as he walks ahead of you. His feathers look so soft that you are almost tempted to reach out and stroke them.

As you get out of the bunker, you walk beside him at a comfortable pace. His wings are now not tucked so tightly against his back. You're close enough to touch them.

"Do you want to?" He asks out of the blue.

You look at him, puzzled, "Want to what?"

"Touch them?" He says, and you realize that he probably read your mind.

A hot blush forms on your cheeks, "Uh, so I guess you know..."

"Yes, I knew since I met you."

"Why didn't you say anything?"

"I could ask you the same."

You sigh, still blushing, "I wasn't sure what it meant. I'm still not sure. I heard a rumour that only soulmate's can see an angel's wings."

"To be honest, I don't know what it means either." He responds. His eyes find yours again, "The offer still stands."

You look at him uncertainly. When he nods, you raise your hand and gently brush your fingers over the soft feathers of his wings. You breathe out a breath you didn't know you were holding in as you keep stroking them.

He sighs contentedly as your hands roam over his strong wings. You smile as he melts under your touch.

"They're so beautiful," you whisper, finally pulling your hands away.

He smiles, "I think you're beautiful."

You blush. He leans in close and takes you into his arms. His wings wrap around you as you embrace. You could stay in his arms forever and be perfectly happy.
