You sit in a chair in Bobby's living room looking online for a hunt. So far, you haven't had much luck finding one.
With a groan, you look at the clock wondering what is taking the boys so long to get supplies. They were supposed to be back an hour ago.
Sighing, you dial Dean's cell and wait for him to pick up. After a few rings, he finally answers.
"Y/n, what is it?"
You roll your eyes at his typical response, "You're late."
"Aww, miss us already?" He chuckles.
Sighing, you shake your head even though he can't see you, "Not really, I'm just hungry."
"Ouch." He replies, but you're to busy trying to make out what the person in the background is saying.
"Dean, who else is there?"
A beat of silence, "Me, Sammy, Bobby. Why?"
"I hear someone else... Is that Cas?"
"What? No."
"Dean, whats happening?" You listen and hear someone shushing another person. Listening harder, you hear the familiar sounds of a bar.
"Are you guys at a bar? Without me?"
"Pfft, no, of course not!" Dean answers defensively.
"Dean, so help me, if you're lying-"
"What's that? You're cutting off, see you later."
He hangs up abruptly, leaving you fuming. Shaking your head in disappointment, you think about what to do.
You could wait or you could go after them.
Why would Dean lie about Castiel being with them? You know that it was his low, rough voice that you heard in the background.
Sam and Dean know how you feel about the blue-eyed angel, so maybe they're trying to keep you away from him so that you don't ruin everything.
Sighing, you rummage through the cabinets and find Bobby's hidden stash of liquor. You snatch a bottle and barely glance at the label before pouring a glassful.
Another hour of boredom passes before you give in a phone Sam.
He eventually picks up.
"Sammy, what the heck?! I thought you guys were on a supplies run?" You start before he can say anything.
He clears his throat, "Um, yeah we were..."
In the background, you hear Dean say 'Shh Sammy, you'll ruin the surprise!'.
"Sam, what's going on." You ask, quickly losing patience.
"Nothing."
"Listen here, buddy boy, you better tell me what's going on before I go find you and give you a piece of my mind!"
Silence after your outburst.
"We're coming back now." Sam says before he hangs up.
You sigh in disbelief, and take another drink before turning away from the window. A whooshing noise fills your ears, and you find yourself facing an angel in a trench coat.
You blink and step away, "Cas! You scared me."
He tilts his head in that adorable way, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."
"It's fine... Cas, are you alright?" You ask. His eyes wander over you, and he sways a bit on his feet.
You've never seen him so unsteady before. Inhaling, you recognize the scent of a bar and a lot of alcohol.
"I'm fine." He assures you, walking closer.
You look up at him, wondering what he'll do next.
Without warning, he cups your head in his warm hands and brings his soft lips to yours. Passion erupts as he kisses you.
At first, you're shocked. But then a giddy feeling blooms in your chest as you kiss him back. His hands travel to your back and sides as yours reach up to feel his velvety hair.
He breaks away, eyes searching your face. He doesn't know if he did it right.
"Cas, woah," you say, breathing heavily.
He looks down, "I knew I'd screwup."
"What? Are you crazy, that was amazing!"
"Really?" His head tilts to the side again.
You smile, "Yeah..."
He smiles back and leans in for another kiss, which you grant him happily.
You break away for oxygen again.
"Y/n, I'm fairly new to emotions, but I know that I love you." He says in his husky, low voice.
You swallow, "I love you too, Cas."
Acting on instinct, you grab him by the collar of his shirt and pull him closer. Your lips connect and you tug at his trench coat to get it to come off. He pulls at your shirt, and you're about to take it off when the front door opens.
Bobby, Sam, and Dean enter, laughing and carrying bags of supplies. They stop as they see the heated scene in front of them.
Dean chuckles, "Wow, nice work buddy."
Sam just looks at the sight in shock, as does Bobby.
Cas clenches his teeth and swiftly presses two fingers to your forehead, transporting you to a beautifully moonlit, grassy hill beside a small lake.
You grin, before turning back to Cas, "Where were we?"
"Right here," he replies, planting his lips back on yours.
