A devilish smirk rests on your lips as you observe the men in the club. All dressed up, you stand by the bar, apart from the other women who drape themselves over the men.

The bartender, a man you know quite well, hands you your favourite drink and you shoot him a wink.

"Thanks," you say before spotting a handsome man walk into the club. Your grin widens immensely as he saunters over to you.

He has brown hair and honey coloured eyes, wearing a nice suit without a tie.

"Hello there," he smirks, leaning against the counter. He looks the the bartender, "One whiskey on the rocks, please."

"What's your name, gorgeous?" You ask him, leaning close to hear him over the music.

"Gabriel. You can call me Gabe if you want. How bout you, sugar?"

"Y/n. You can call me N/n," you sip your drink idly.

He nods and smiles as he gets his drink, "Let's make a toast."

"Oh? What to?"

"To a great night," he looks you over, "And great company."

You raise your glass and clink it against his, "Amen, I'll drink to that."

An excellent upbeat song starts playing so you set your drink down. Grabbing his arm, you make your way to the dance floor, "Let's dance, Gabe!"

"Alright!"

You spend some time dancing and drinking and laughing before you grow weary of the club.

"Hey, wanna get out of here?" You whisper-yell, lips brushing against his ear as you do so.

He grins and asks, "Where do you have in mind?"

You frown, uncertain. Should you take this stranger home?

"I just need some air," you yell over the music, "It's so loud in here!"

"Let's go for a walk then!" He takes your hand and moves through the crowd to the exit.

You inhale the fresh night air, basking in the silence after the loud music. Gabriel leans against the building, smiling widely.

"You really did need fresh air," he comments.

"Yeah, it was stuffy in there."

He straightens off the wall, "Hey, you hungry?"

"Actually, yeah," you stretch your arms and nod, "I could eat."

"Anything particular you want?"

"This might sound lame, but f/f/f/r sounds amazing right about now," you laugh.

He laughs along with you, "I'm actually glad you don't want a fancy sit down restaurant. I hate waiting forever for my food."

"I know right! C'mon, let's go! There's one not too far from here, we can walk."

You snatch his hand and lead the way. Unfortunately, you forget to look both ways before crossing the street.

Gabriel yanks you out of the path of a car just in time, startling you.

"Frick, that was close!" You chuckle nervously, "I must be drunker than I thought. Thanks for stopping me."

"Anytime. Good thing I have fast reflexes," he smirks.

You continue walking, but stumble on the sidewalk. Cursing, you frown, "I'm not usually this clumsy. Uh, wait. I actually am. Sorry I'm clumsy."

He simply smiles, "It's fine. Hell, it's kind of cute. As long as you don't get hurt or anything."

"Aww that's sweet," you beam. Opening the door to the restaurant, you wave your arm, "Enter if you dare."

He chuckles, "I'm supposed to open the door."

"No, now get in there already! I'm hungry," you shove him in and allow the door to shut behind you.

There are no other customers, so you don't wait in a line. You order the food and get it almost immediately.

Sitting in the booth, you chow down, Gabriel mimicking your hungry actions. The food is gone in no time.

He grins mysteriously, "Want dessert?"

You nod lazily, tired. It's like three in the morning.

He holds out an empty hand palm up before closing it. When he opens it, a chocolate bar lays there.

You blink, "Woah! That's amazing, how'd you do that?"

"Magic," he wiggles his eyebrows.

"Can you make anything appear?" You question, intrigued.

He nods.

"Jolly Ranchers?"

He does the same routine and a bag of the candy appears in his hand. He laughs at your flabbergasted expression, "Cool, right?"

"So cool!" You exclaim. "Can you teach me?"

"Sorry, sugar, it can't be taught," he explains.

"Oh. So you really are magic, huh? There's no way that was a trick."

"Tell you the truth," he leans in as if he's got a huge secret, "I'm an angel. Archangel to be exact."

You laugh, "Hell yeah you are! You're probably the greatest guy I've ever met, to be honest."

"We haven't even gotten to know each other yet."

"I'd like to," you say.

He grins, "Same."
