"Welp, we sure showed that wendigo who's boss," you smirk, stretching out your arms above your head as you walk.
Sam and Dean are trailing right behind you, grumbling about how close the monster had come to seriously injuring you. Ignoring them is usually pretty easy, so you just keep walking.
"Y/n, you could've really been hurt," Sam grabs your shoulder, forcing you to face him.
You stare them both down, "You think I don't know that?"
Sam looks exasperatedly at Dean, who shrugs, "We know that, Y/n. We're just sorry we didn't get there faster."
"Don't let it happen again," you chuckle lighting, pulling Sam and Dean into a group hug.
"Hey, no chick-flick moments," Dean complains, but he hugs you back anyways.
You break apart from them and continue traipsing through the forest. It's getting darker with each step. And each step makes your little group wearier.
"Guys, I don't think we should drive tonight. It's late and we're all tired, so we should just camp out. What do you think?"
Dean looks to Sam and they both shrug, "Fine by us."
You nod, and before you know it your tired legs have marched you back to the Impala. Dean rummages around for the sleeping bags, while you and Sam make a fire.
The fire roars to life, owls hoot from the trees, and the forest is peaceful and gorgeous under the moonlight.
Dean walks back from the car, "The sleeping bags are gone, we only have this blanket."
He holds a large grey blanket that looks warm and comforting. The fire crackles, causing you to flinch accidentally.
"Y/n can have it."
"What? No, you guys would freeze," you argue.
Silence falls for a short while, while you try to think of a solution. Sighing, you shake your head, "I guess we'll just have to share it."
"But-"
"Nope, it's final. Come here," You pat the grass beside you on both sides.
Sam and Dean look to each other before coming to sit next to you. You lay down. They hesitate before collapsing back as well. Dean flings the blanket across you and Sam, and you all lay in a row, with you in the middle.
The moon and the stars illuminate the night, and you can feel your breathing slowing down and your eyes closing.
It barely registers that two pairs of strong, loving arms have wrapped themselves around your warm body. Snuggled against the Winchester brothers, you find solace and sleep.

When your eyes open again, you find dawn slowly breaking, light starting to filter through the trees. You stifle a yawn and fidget slightly.
You freeze.
Sturdy arms are wrapped over you, drawing you close to the two boys' chests. They breathe in synchronization, a relaxing feeling against your sides. You lay on your back, Dean and Sam lie facing you. You're trapped between them, and you don't mind.
Dean's right hand is latched onto your right shoulder, and Sam's left hand is resting against your side.
A lazy grin creeps onto your face as you look at Dean's face. His face is totally relaxed, his eyelids closed, the corners of his mouth slightly upturned into a smile.
Sam looks much the same. His eyelids slightly covered by his longer hair, and his mouth turned upwards in a peaceful smile.
You sigh, snuggling closer to them. They react by shuffling closer to your body, clutching you tightly to their muscular torsos.
Dean's head is resting right by your neck, he exhales tickling your ear.
Sam's head is resting on top of yours, his cheek against your h/c hair.
Your eyes close again, and you doze off, completely at rest.

"Y/n looks so peaceful," Dean's voice rings out quietly amidst the trilling of birds.
"Yeah," His brother's voice answers.
There is a small sound of feet moving, and the sound of a blanket being pulled around a sleeping body.
"We should let her sleep a bit longer," Sam says, after adjusting the blanket that is over Y/n.
"Yeah."
