Imagine Gabriel throwing you a surprise birthday party and inviting everyone.

Tomorrow is your birthday. Another year has passed and you're still alive, which is cause for rejoicing.

But, no one has mentioned anything about having a party or doing anything special. You haven't brought it up. Maybe they forgot about your birthday?

Your phone chimes and you see that Sam texted you details of a hunt not too far away. Currently in your room in the bunker, you sigh and pack a bag with a few necessities.

Sam and Dean are sitting at the map table researching something.

"You want me to go hunt that vamp?" You ask Sam.

He looks up, "Yeah, if you don't mind."

Your heart falls but you keep your face neutral, "Alright. You guys coming?"

"You can handle it," Dean assures.

Your eye twitches in annoyance. You snap, "I know I can handle it!"

Walking out of the bunker, you get in your vehicle and drive away.

"Nice job guys," Gabe smirks as he appears out of nowhere. "Now we can set up the party and gather everyone!"

"I don't know Gabe, I feel bad," Sam says, "We don't even know if she likes surprise parties."

"You've known her for how many years?" Gabriel questions him rhetorically.

Sam and Dean share a look. They practically grew up with Y/n.

"Exactly," the archangel is certain that this is a great way to celebrate her birthday, "She's gonna love it!"

"Who did you invite again?" Dean questions as he sips his beer.

Gabe smirks mischievously, "Everyone."

Sam frowns, "Everyone?"

"Hells yeah."

You groan and sink into the motel bed. The hunt went surprisingly smooth which was a relief but you're still tired.

It's still hard to believe that Sam and Dean made you go on a solo hunt before your birthday. But whatever.

Maybe they'll do something nice for you tomorrow, but it's not like it matters.

Running the hot water, you decide to take a nice long bubble bath and go to bed. Tomorrow you'll head back to the bunker.

Sighing, you push open the bunker door with your bag slung over your shoulder.

The lights are all off and you can hardly see a thing, "Sam? Dean? Where are you?"

You drop your bag and grab your gun, "Hello?!"

Hesitantly, you walk down the steps, weapon pointed.

Suddenly, the lights turn on, blinding you momentarily.

"Happy birthday!!!" A million voices shout as you get your bearings straight.

The first face you recognize right away is Gabriel's. He looks smug and shoots a confetti gun at you, "Surprise!"

"Holy- You guys!" You yell as you take everyone in. "Aww!!!"

Balthazar sidles up to you and hands you a f/d, "Happy birthday, Y/n."

"Balth! I can't believe you came!" You grin and hug him.

He whispers, "Of course I came. I wouldn't miss my favourite human's birthday."

You laugh and push him away before another person hugs you from behind.

"You've been Garthed," he states.

"Garth!" You turn around to give him a proper hug trying not to spill your drink, "It's so good to see you!"

"You too, N/n!" He pats your shoulder as hands clamp around your eyes.

"Guess who?" A gruff voice questions.

You chuckle, trying to guess who's behind you, "Umm, I think, Charlie?"

She squeals and removes her hands. You spin around and embrace her giddily.

"How'd you know?" She questions.

"Lucky guess. Also, soft hands," you reason with a light chuckle. "You're back from Oz?"

"Only for a bit," she smiles, "We've got catching up to do."

"Heck yeah!"

Someone taps your shoulder and you look to see Jo and Ellen standing there. Charlie sneakily steals your drink but you don't mind.

You shriek in delight and pull the mother and daughter duo into a group hug, "I haven't seen you for ages!"

"It's good to see you too, kid," Ellen responds.

Ash waves, "Happy birthday!"

"Thanks Ash!" You give him a quick hug.

You spot Benny from the corner of your eye talking to Cas and Dean, "I'll be back."

Practically pouncing, you smother Benny in a bear hug, "Benny!!! How are you back from purgatory?"

He smirks at you, "Your archangel friends helped me out. I was getting kind of lonely, darling."

You laugh and punch his arm, "I bet you were. Hey Cas."

He looks a bit uncomfortable as he stares at you still hugging Benny, "Hey."

Chuckling, you stand up, "I have to say hi to more people."

Your next victim is Bobby. He greets you with a grin and hands you a flask as a gift. You thank him, admiring the leather sleeve wrapped around the silver flask.

Arthur Ketch has been conversing with Mick Davies and Crowley this whole time, so you approach them.

"Happy birthday, Y/n," Ketch greets with a smile that doesn't seem too forced. Mick chimes in and wishes you a terrific year.

"Thank you," you say back quickly hugging them before turning to Crowley, "Crow! I'm almost surprised you came."

"Anything for you, love," he replies huskily, "It's just too bad there are so many angels about."

"There are plenty of demons too," a new voice says as Ruby and Meg saunter up.

You embrace them as you have everyone else, and chatter happily with them.

"Hey, Y/n. I hear it's your birthday."

Surprised, your eyes meet red ones, "Luci!!! I didn't see you!"

He smirks as you grip him in a tight hug, "I couldn't let everyone else have all the fun."

Crowley subtly glares at Lucifer Just as Rowena walks up, "Fergus, that's not very polite of you."

"Rowena! It's so good to see you!"

She smiles, "It's a pleasure to see you again, Y/n dear. I am happy to see you alive and well after our last meeting."

Last time you had seen her, she helped you deal with a vengeful witch who had hexed you.

"Yeah, thanks for that."

"Anytime, deary."

Gabe's voice interrupts your conversation, "Y/n, over here!"

You go to him and see Samandriel beside his archangel brother, "Hey Samandriel! How are you?"

"Good, thanks. And you?"

"I am wonderful! This is amazing!"

Gabe grins madly, "I knew you'd love it!"

"I love it so much! Thank you!"

You see Sam talking with Eileen and Dean talking with Jo. They're actually flirting by the looks of it.

You see Jack and wave. He returns the gesture with his adorable smile. Then you see a face you hadn't seen for a long time.

"Gadreel! It's so great to see you!" You run to him.

He smiles and hugs you, "Happy birthday. I'm glad I came."

You chat with him for a bit before going back to Gabriel. "This is great," you say with a huge smile.

"Happy birthday," another voice says right beside you.

You jump and see who talked, "God! I mean, Chuck!"

"Hello Y/n. Nice party."

"Thanks, Gabe set it up," you smile a bit nervously.

He opens his arms with a smile, "Come on, I know you love hugs."

You grin and wrap your arms around him, mouthing to Gabe, 'Your dad likes me!'

He laughs, 'I know!'

You grin and look at all the people who came together to celebrate your birthday. Happiness swells within you as you take it all in.
