Imagine: You and Sam go away for the weekend and a witch tries to ruin it.

You were ready for a break. You needed a break. You and the Winchesters had been constantly hunting, which was a good thing, but you were also exhausted. You need some time to relax and you wanted to spend some time with your boyfriend.

You and Sam had been dating for about a year now. You had met at a library when he caught you reading up on some lore. You were there trying to find out more information on purebred werewolves. You were a hunter and believed that one of them could be in town. Sam was working the same case and thought you were a local and began asking you questions on what you thought could be going on in the town. You gave him what information you could and then he disappeared.

Later that night, you went to where you believed the werewolf was hiding and found the Winchesters tied up there. You quickly moved in to rescue them and kill the werewolf. When all was said and done, you began to leave when Sam asked for your number in case they needed help, or in case you did.

You exchanged numbers and then you left. Over the next few months, you and Sam helped each other a lot and eventually you began helping Dean as well. Both of the Winchesters really liked you, and they eventually asked you to come stay with them at the Bunker.

You gladly did so and that allowed you and Sam to spend some quality time together and get to know each other better which eventually led to the two of you getting together. Since then, the three of you have been hunting case after case. You and Sam try to make time for each other, but you're both so exhausted that it's hard to do so a lot of times.

Your yearly anniversary was coming up for when Sam officially asked you to be his girlfriend, and Sam surprised you by telling you that the two of you were going away for the weekend. He had reserved a room at a beautiful hotel in the mountains of Colorado.

A lot of stores, restaurants and activities surrounded the hotel, so Sam knew that you would enjoy it. You were beyond happy when Sam told you the news. You began packing immediately, and with a heartfelt goodbye to Dean, you and Sam were on your way to Colorado.

The trip was spent with you and Sam talking and playing car games. And, when you got to the resort, it was even more beautiful than you imagined. A smile lit up your face as you and Sam walked inside the resort. People were bustling around. There were enough people there to make the resort look famous, but not enough for it to be a chaotic crowd. You could still tell what was going on.

You and Sam walked through the crowd up to the front desk to check in and you looked around. The hotel was beautifully decorated with chandeliers and antique decorations. You were taking it all in when you suddenly noticed a woman staring at you.

She had long black hair and dark eyes. She wasn't moving. She was standing in the middle of the crowd, staring directly at you. "Sam," you said, trying to get his attention so he would notice the woman.

You looked up at him and tried to motion to look where you saw the woman, but when you looked again, she was gone. Shrugging it off, you and Sam got the hotel key and went upstairs to your room. The room was a large suite with a queen-sized bed, a kitchen, a dining room and a large bathroom. You smiled as you and Sam got situated in the room. You looked out the window and took in the view of the freshly fallen snow.

Sam took your hand and motioned for you to follow him. He led you out of the motel room and outside to the snow. The two of you walked around the town, hand-in-hand, as you looked at the small stores that lined the streets.

Eventually, Sam led you to a restaurant, and the two of you shared a very romantic meal that was filled with laughter and love. You were happy and excited that you were getting this time with Sam. After another hour or so, the two of you decided to walk back to the hotel, the cold Colorado air biting at any exposed skin.

You reached the hotel and before you went into the room, you pulled Sam into a kiss. "I love you so much, Sam Winchester," you told him softly. "I love you too," he replied with a smile. He kissed you one more time before pulling you into the room. The two of you changed into comfy clothes and went to sleep happy.

The next morning, you woke up and you were not in a great mood. You laid in bed for a while, hoping Sam would wake up so you guys could go out and do things, but not wanting to wake him up. About a half hour later, you checked the time and rolled your eyes when Sam was still sleeping.

You sighed, got up and decided to take a shower. You spent an unusual amount of time in the shower, not wanting to get out and when you did, you saw Sam finally just waking up. "Look who decided to get up," you stated plainly. Sam rolled his eyes at you and responded, "Oh, I'm sorry, it's not like I've been hunting every day and getting no sleep." Oh, so he was in a bad mood too? Great.

"I've been hunting every day too and I still want to get up and actually spend some time with you. But, I guess that's too much to ask, isn't it?" you snapped back. "If I had known you were going to be like this, then I never would have offered to go away for the weekend. So much for having fun," he replied.

"Having fun? Or sleeping the weekend away? Last time I checked, I'm the one who's up and ready to go out, while you're still trying to rub the sleep out of your eyes," you stated, anger bubbling out of your voice as you began to raise it.

"Is it a crime to want to spend the morning in before we go out all night!" Sam yelled back. "Yes! We spend the morning in every day! We don't ever do anything anymore! If I had known that all we would do together is hunt night and day and never go out, I would have never moved into the Bunker!" you snapped. "Well, if I had known that this was how you were going to be, I would have never asked you to move into the Bunker!" Sam yelled.

Silence followed after Sam's statement, as hurt filled your heart. You ran into the bathroom and slammed the door shut, letting the tears stream down your face. What just happened? You and Sam were so happy last night, so in love. Now, you were screaming at each other? It's was like a flip of a switch. Like...magic.

Suddenly, your eyes lit up with realization. The woman! She must have been a witch who knew who you and Sam were. She must have cursed the two of you somehow. You wiped the tears from your face and stood up to tell Sam. When you opened the door, he was standing there and you both said, "Hex bag."

You and Sam destroyed the room looking for the hex bag and you finally found it tucked into the bedpost. Sam destroyed it and instantly you both felt better. You hugged each other for a long time, both of you apologizing for what was said.

Then, you moved to find the witch. Luckily, you both came prepared and had witch-killing bullets. It wasn't hard to track the witch down since she was at the hotel. You tracked her to her room and when you busted in, she attacked. You and Sam quickly handled her and killed her and then went back to your hotel room.

Back at the hotel room, Sam pulled you into a kiss and said, "I'm so sorry she ruined our weekend. I wanted it to be perfect, like you. You mean everything to me and I just wanted a chance to show you that."

You smiled softly at Sam and stroked his cheek, saying, "Sammy, nothing is ruined. You mean everything to me too, and what would a weekend away be without a small hunt?" Sam chuckled a little and you took his hand in yours before telling him, "Come on, let's go enjoy the rest of the time we have together."

Sam nodded his head and the two of you went back out, having snow fights, making snow angels, and finding other local activities to do. The love and laughter returned and you knew that Sam was the only man for you, and not even a curse could stop you and Sam from loving each other.

Always Keep Fighting!
