{3} Castiel

Imagine: You meet Jimmy Novak's wife when she sees you and Cas out together.
You were a solo hunter. It was what you did best. You didn't get close with anyone because you knew that the price of hunting was the death of everyone you loved. So, if you stopped finding people to love, then you wouldn't have to worry about that problem, would you?
That's how you lived most of your life, at least, that was how you used to live your life. It all started on a ghoul case. You had heard of this family who had a mysterious disappearance, but days later, they were spotted. You decided to go check it out, so you drove to the small town, checked into a motel room, and then went to a diner.
You figured if you were going to stay up all night trying to figure out the case, you would need brain food and coffee. So, you walked in, sat down, and ordered your favorite meal with a coffee. It was about ten o'clock at night, and the diner was closing soon, so the place was pretty empty, besides the usual late night partiers in the back of the diner who were all having a great time.
You glanced at them before looking at the articles about the family you had printed out. You were thoroughly reading one of them, deep in thought when suddenly the bell on the front door of the diner rang, signaling someone else had entered the diner.
You looked up. only for a moment, and saw two tall men enter the diner. One of them, the tallest one, had long, brown hair and hazel eyes. The other had gorgeous, forest green eyes and brown hair. They were both extremely attractive and you felt your gaze linger on them for another moment, before you returned to your article.
You saw them sit down at a table that was a couple of tables across from yours. You continued reading the papers when your heard the taller one say, "I don't know, Dean, I mean, we've never really seen anything like this."
You let your eyes wander up to study the men as you continued to listen to their conversation. "I know, but there has to be something in dad's journal that tells us what this thing is. We just have to look through it again," was the other's response. "Are you sure dad's journal will have. I mean, I'll admit dad has hunted everything down to the last Rougarou, but this seems different," the tallest one replied.
So, they were hunters. You were staring at the both of them by now, and you were trying to figure them out. That's when the tallest one looked at you, and the two of you made eye contact, before he nudged the other man, making him, in turn, look at you too.
You quickly looked back down at your papers to avoid them questioning you, but of course, things you want to happen never do. Both of the men stood up from the table and walked over to the booth you were sitting in. "Was there something interesting in our conversation, or am I just that attractive?" the shorter one said with a smirk that could kill.
You looked up at them and replied, "Definitely the conversation. You're not my type." Dean looked slightly taken aback by your remark, but then sat down at the booth, sliding over so that the other man could sit down next to him.
"Alright, then tell me, what was so interesting about mine and my brother's conversation?" he asked. They were brothers! That explains why they were both so attractive. You bit your lip, making them wonder, wanting to see their reactions, when the taller one looked down at your papers.
"Hey, that's the Johnson family," he stated, taking one of the articles. "What do you know about them," he questioned as he began reading the paper, and the shorter one had a look of confusion on his face.
"I know that it's no damn Rougarou, and that if they are lucky, they aren't dead, they are just missing," you replied. "But they've been sighted by one of their neighbors," the shorter one stated. "No, what that neighbor saw was something else entirely. They were ghouls," you responded.
"Ghouls?" the long-haired one asked. "Yep, ghouls. They are creatures who feed on the living and the dead, but they have been changing their eating habits lately, and they have been kidnapping people and keeping them in storage, They feed on them when they're hungry, and eventually, the people die from being fed on too much, but the ghoul can then keep feeding on them," you explained.
"But, that doesn't explain why the neighbor saw the family though," the shorter one replied. "Ghouls can shapeshift, and they have super speed, and super strength. The only way to kill them is to decapitate them, but enough damage to the head will work," you responded.
"How do you know this?" the younger-looking one asked. "Isn't it obvious, I'm a hunter, same as you. Now, are you going to help me kill them or not?" you responded. "How about a name first, sweetheart," the shorter one said, with his classic smirk, you could tell he was a lady-killer.
You smirked back and replied, "Y/N. Yours?" "I'm Dean, that's my brother Sam," Dean responded. "Great, then let's go, because I would really like to save this family before they kill them," you responded. "You keep saying 'they'. How many ghouls are there?" Sam asked. "The Johnson family was a family of five, which means that there are five ghouls," you responded, before standing up from the booth, throwing some money on the table, and leaving the diner as the boys did the same.
"If you guys follow me back to my motel, I have some more information on the family and ghouls," you stated before getting in your car. Dean nodded his head, and he and Sam walked back to their Impala, getting in it, and roaring it's engine to life.
You started your car as well, and then started driving, with Dean and Sam following you. The motel wasn't that far away, and you reached it in no time. You parked your car, as Dean parked the Impala, and you led the boys to your motel room. You opened the door, and walked in, and they came in as well, shutting and locking the door behind them.
You had articles from various websites strewn about the room, and Dean remarked, "Wow, it seems like you're really committed to this job." You shrugged your shoulders and replied, "I just try to save as many lives as I can as quickly as I can."
You then sat down at a table that had two other chairs for Sam and Dean. You handed them some information on ghouls and instructed, "Look through those, I haven't read them yet, let me know if you find anything that could help us locate them." They nodded their heads as they began reading, and you read your own packet of information.
After a little bit, Sam said, "Hey, I think I found something." You and Dean stopped reading your articles as you both looked at Sam, signaling you were both now paying attention to him. "It says here that ghouls are scavenger creatures who tend to live in graveyards, feasting on the dead, and sometimes the living who pass through," Sam continued.
"So, they live in the local graveyard?" Dean asked, and you shook your head no. "The local graveyard has no crypts and ghouls do they're best to stay hidden from others so that they can peacefully live. Since it's all open land, they would be easily spotted, but I know they have to be in town," you stated.
"So, are there any other graveyards in town?" Dean asked. You shook your head no, but then an idea popped into your mind. You grabbed your laptop that was nearby and typed in the name of the town you were in right now.
It pulled up a place of an old burial ground and you told the boys, "It doesn't have to still be a graveyard. There is this old abandoned house that was built on the grounds where a huge massacre took place. After the murders, the bodies were buried where they died, to save energy and money. So, this house was built right over those bodies."
They looked at each other before looking at you, and Dean said, "Sounds like we found our ghouls." You nodded your head slightly, and then all of a sudden a deep, low voice said, "Indeed you have." You gasped as you stood up, reaching for your gun that you kept on you at all times, and drawing it, aiming it at the man who was there.
He was the most handsomest man you had ever seen. He had raven-like hair and icy blue eyes. He wore a suit and a trench coat and had a broody expression on his face. "Cas? What are you doing here?" Dean asked, standing up from his chair.
The man, Cas, as Dean called him, was staring at you though, as if he was trying to figure you out. "I'm here to help," he responded to Dean, though it was more directed towards you. "Do you guys know him?" you asked Sam and Dean, not breaking eye contact with the man.
"Yeah, this is our friend, Castiel. He won't hurt us," Dean replied. You stared at him for another moment before putting your gun back in its place and walked over to him. You held out a hand and put on a smile as you said, "Well, I'm Y/N, it's nice to meet you." "I'm Castiel, an Angel of the Lord," he replied, before slightly smiling, as he was confused and in awe of you.
You smiled and he gingerly shook your hand as a slight blush tinted his cheeks. You chuckled and replied, "So, how are you going to help us?" you asked him. "Well, I am a celestial being. I can take care of two of the ghouls, while you each take down one," he replied, flaunting off the fact that he was an angel.
You smirked and responded, "How about I take care of two of them, and you three boys take care of one, wouldn't want any of your pretty faces getting damaged." Castiel looked confused and said, "But...I'm a celestial being..."
"And I'm a badass hunter. So, it's settled then? Great, I'll be outside, waiting for you guys," you replied, smirking as you walked out of the motel room, leaving Cas to watch you as you walked away with a cheesy smile on his face. You got into your car, and waited for a few moments, before Sam, Dean, and Cas walked out of the room too.
Sam and Dean got into the Impala, but Cas got into your car. He looked at you sheepishly and told you, "I will travel with you to keep you safe." You laughed and replied, "Okay, Angel, whatever you say." You then started your car and drove off to the house, Sam and Dean following you.
You got to the house within a half hour, and you got out of your cars. You grabbed two machetes, one for each hand, and Dean and Sam each grabbed one. Cas had nothing and you asked him, "Do you want a knife or something?"
"Oh, no, I will be fine," he replied, before starting to walk into the house. You passed him, leading the group, and you all approached the door. You were about to open it, when Cas leaned forward, his chest pressed into your back as you tried to hide a blush. "Seriously though, I will take care of two of them. You just worry about one, because I would not want your pretty face to get damaged, because it is quite beautiful," he whispered in your ear, turning your cheeks an even darker shade of red.
You bit your lip, and then opened the door to the house. The ghouls immediately started attacking. You all fought them off, and you saw Cas easily take care of two, but then there was another one that no one had thought was even there. He jumped Cas from behind, and just as it was about to kill him, you swiftly cut off his head, saving Cas' life.
Cas looked at you, dumbfounded, and you replied, "I told you I was a badass hunter. Now we both took care of two of them, everyone's happy." Cas smiled at you, and he realized that that was the moment he fell in love. The moment that he knew, even as an Angel, what love at first sight felt like.
You walked away from the group, finding the family, and found all of them. They were all in critical condition, and you quickly called 9-1-1. You, Sam, Dean, and Cas left before the ambulances arrived, and you have been hunting with the Winchesters ever since.
That case was one year ago. Since then, Cas has taken you out on multiple dates, and you and him were definitely in love. Every spare moment the two of you had, you spent together, and tonight just happen to be one of those nights.
Dean and Sam were off on their own case because you had been asking for a chance to spend time with Cas, and they loved the two of you together, so they gladly agreed. As soon as they left, you prayed to Cas, wondering if he had any spare time, and he showed up immediately with a dopey smile on his face.
"I always have time for you, my love," he told you. You smiled and hugged him. "So, what do you want to do tonight?" he asked you. "I don't know, do you want to go see a movie?" you suggested.
Cas had a look of excitement in his eyes as he nodded his head. You chuckled and said, "Okay, then I am going to go change, and I'll be down in a few." You then went to your room, and changed into some skinny jeans and a cute shirt, putting on some shoes, and some make-up, combing through your hair, and grabbing your purse.
You came back downstairs, and Cas was looking at you with a smirk on his face. "What are you smirking at?" you asked. "How gorgeous you are," he responded. You laughed and pulled him into a quick kiss before the two of you went out to your car.
You drove to the theater, since Cas hadn't learned how to drive yet, but it was on your list of things to teach him how to do. You got out, and went to see which movies were available. You decided to watch Doctor Strange, because it was Benedict Cumberbatch and Marvel, so why not?
You and Cas bought some popcorn and a drink before sitting down together, interlacing your hands. Every moment of the movie was amazing, but you were honestly just happy to be spending time with Cas.
After the movie, you and him were walking out of the theater hand in hand, when suddenly, a very angry woman came up to you and him. She was blonde, and beautiful and tears were threatening her eyes.
Cas wasn't paying attention to her, when all of a sudden she slapped him hard across the face. "How could you do this, Jimmy! Do you know how long I've been looking for you?! I love you! I've never stopped looking for you, and here you are, dating some slut?!" she screamed at him. You looked between the two of them extremely confused, and Cas let out a small sigh.
"Amelia, I am not your husband. I am the Angel possessing him, and I understand that seeing his vessel with another woman must be heartbreaking, but I, Castiel, am in love with this girl, and we are trying to have a nice date, so please, go," Cas said, trying to be gentle.
She let tears stream down her face, as she asked, "You're not Jimmy?" Cas shook his head no, and she said, "Well then get the hell out of my husband!" You heard Cas sigh and you spoke up, replying, "Please, Amelia, I know what's it's like to lose someone you love, but the truth is that Cas had died so many times in Jimmy's vessel, that if he were to leave it, then Jimmy would be nothing but a corpse. Cas may be alive in Jimmy's vessel, but your husband is dead."
She looked at you shocked before letting a few more tears stream down her face as she walked away, the saddest she has ever been in her entire life. You looked back at Cas and he told you, "I am so sorry about that, I just wanted this night to be perfect for us, but I guess perfection truly is just an illusion."
You smiled and pulled Cas into a gentle kiss. "Cas, every night is perfection when I'm with you, even with your vessel's crazy exes," you replied, making him chuckle. "I love you so much, Y/N," he told you, making you grin. "I love you more, Angel," you responded.
The two of you then went back to the Bunker spending the rest of the night in each other's arms, expressing how much you really do love each other, and how much you two never want to be apart.
Hello my little monsters,
How did you like this one? Did you like the Amelia idea or no? I thought it was kind of funny how both Sam and "Cas" dated an Amelia, like where is Dean's? Anyways, thank you all for reading, voting, and commenting! I love you all and all of you are amazing!
Always Keep Fighting!
