Dean x reader

Dean notices that the reader isn't fine and so he comforts them.

"Hey..." Dean says in his low gruff voice.

"Hey..."

"You ok?"

"Yeah, yeah I'm peachy, you?" Then y/n regrets as she/he says it in a high pitch voice knowing that Dean knows when they are lying.

"Sure...so why don't you just cut me some slack and tell me what's going on with you." As he walks over and sits next to his friend.

"It's just...I just feel like I should've done something to that poor woman." Dean's face softens up as he remembers that y/n tried to get the woman that was about to get torn apart by the werewolves.

"Y/n... Dean starts.

"No Dean please don't give me that 'y/n there's nothing that you could've done' or 'that's apart of this life people die and it's not your fault' crap. I could've done something like shoot the wolf but no instead I just looked like a whole idiot saying 'Look out!' It's all my fault." Y/n's voice cracks as tears flowed done their face. "Now someone's dead cause of me." While y/n says that they choke on a sob. Dean doesn't do anything and just pull her into a nice, warm, and comforting hug.

"Shhhhh...." Dean whispers as y/n cries even more.

"It'll be ok sweetheart," Dean says as he calms y/n down.

"I love you" Only to say to himself.
