Summary: There was a gun to Deans head.

Dean was a fighter. A Criminal, he had expected to die young. He just didn't expect it to be like this. He didn't expect the FBI or the Deal. He didn't expect the fear and the betrayal and he certainly didn't expect Agent Castiel Novak. The man who stormed into his life and tore it to shreds. Castiel was probably the reason why Dean was going to die. Worst part was Dean couldn't hate him. In fact his feelings on the matter where probably the opposite. Not that, that matters now, not when the gun goes off.

Contains box boy and is mature rated. Might smut in future chapters.

Opinion: This fanfic got a good concept going that caught my attention straight away. The SPN characters are on point and original characters are just as interesting. It follows Dean and Castiel to solve a murder mystery. However, there are a few editing mistakes here and there. Blocks of text that can be divided to make an easier read.

What's interesting here, is how far Dean gets tangled with Castiel. It's able to tell from early on they are going to have a relationship Dean never expects to have with anyone (not after everything John did for him and Sam).

It raises questions whatever or not what John has anything to do with a murder. It isn't often we get to see Castiel in FBI and Dean in the criminal scene.
