Synopsis:

Set at the beginning of season four of 'Supernatural', 'Unnatural' tells the story of Ester Morrow, a hunter with a secret to hide. When the angels tell her that she has a role in stopping the impending apocalypse, she gets unwilling caught up in the world of Dean and Sam Winchester, forced to tag along with them as they go around, fixing seals, killing demons, and trying to do everything they can to stop the world from ending . . .

Review:

First and foremost, this story is currently still in progress. Please note that the last update hasn't been since March 28 (which coincidentally is my birthday...fun fact). 

So, our MC is by the name of Ester Morrow. There is no faceclaim for her, unfortunately. However, you do at least get an idea of how she looks (but those details seem to trickle in later in the story, a few chapters in). She is a hunter (obviously), which seems to be about how half of the fanfics start.

No criticism there, just an observation.

There seems to be no ship attached to this so far from what I've read, but maybe that's not such a bad thing. Not all Supernatural fics need to have a ship. (I know, I know, hypocrite much?)

Based on what the book cover says it seems to be set in...I wanna say Season 5 perhaps? Maybe 4? So far I haven't seen an official tie-in with the show's plot, it's been just original chapters. But I can assume the tie-in is a-coming.

Oh, and here's something to keep you reading: Ester Morrow has some memory gaps. 

Beware, she does run into the Winchesters in the beginning but they're not up each other's asses, meaning that they aren't officially working together just yet (and I say yet because we all know this will eventually happen).
