Review:

As the synopsis says, this is book two of the Beginnings Saga. To be honest, I was just gonna coin it the Meredith Scott Saga cause I didn't think it had an official saga title before now.

Anywho.

Before you read any further, if you have not read the first book titled 'Beginnings', you might wanna really get on that. Cause otherwise you'll be missing some info and you'll get confused.

No, seriously, go back and read Beginnings first so this book will make sense for you. And pro tip: do not wait between books, because like me, you'll kind of have to familiarize yourself with characters and the previous story again.

For those who know of the saga and have read the first book, keep on reading.

 Now, I'm only a few chapters in, so this review won't be full length like normal. I blame a busy work schedule and finding time to actively read books in my library and write. 

Okay, so, for starters: this book is set six years after book one. AKA takes place in Season Seven. Yup, the good ole Leviathan era. *cringes*

Anyway, the book opens on Meredith Scott in her normal life setting. 

FYI, this ^ is Meredith.

Her mom is away hunting the supernatural (yup I managed to remember that between the span of books one and two), she's watching her now-teenage son Henry. She's had it rough. She moved on from Dean, fell in love and married another man. You're thinking, 'how has she had it rough?' I haven't gotten there yet, be patient.

She had a daughter with the new man, named Jackson I might add, but then he up and left taking their daughter with him. What a jerk off. So yeah, I don't like the douchebag. (Now whether or not he makes an appearance down the road in the book, I don't know. Like I said, few chapters in, haven't finished the book.)

So, Meredith has been through a lot of non-supernatural crap that's hurt her. Not to mention the old scar of Dean Winchester. You can imagine how things are when Ms. Meredith reunites with the Winchesters and Bobby.

Yeah, mega awkward.

So, yeah. Unfortunately I can't say much more cause I haven't finished the book.
