Review: Fanfic hasn't been updated in a few years. Just so you know.

The cover is neat and the title is readable as well. If you are going for aesthetically pleasing, is definitely done right. However, I feel is missing a spark to truly capture the reader's interest. However, a more fitting graphic could have a much bigger effect. Check out the MDC threads for a request for cover or inspiration. Also, I would suggest removing 'by' and the 'I'-signs because it makes it less professional looking, instead it's possible to put just username or the nickname people use for the author and so on.

Well, the story is definitely something. Though it isn't made clear in the beginning that is a prologue and I had the impression it was the third person point of view but later it was the first person. Also, it needs to be spaced out better with the paragraphs. There is some error in the text and a quick edit should help it shine more.

It starts intriguingly enough with Dean being off the charts (that's always a sight if you know what I mean) aka drinking a lot. Sam is of course, worried. Their father is dead, so it would be understandable Dean would have a rough time coping.

However, already in the second chapter, Dean is acting very out of character. Yes, he might be very drunk, but Dean got rules. And the relationship is rushed as well as the plot, so keep in mind pacing is important. Take time to develop characters and their plot lines, even as a fanfic, the readers need time to relate and empathize with said characters.
