7. They Ask You Out/ You Ask Them Out
Arthur Ketch~
A ragged scream of frustration rings out from the warehouse as you behead another vampire. The last vampire charging towards you as you snarl and tighten your grip on the machete.
With a quick sidestep, and a step forwards, you swivel on the balls of your feet and swing the machete. Another decapitated head falls to the ground, and the last vampire of the nest is dead. You can smell Ketch coming up behind you, and your fangs sink back into your gums with an odd tingling sensation.
"I think that would have been the fastest I've ever cleared out a nest. You did well Arthur." You give the former british man of letters a nod of acknowledgement, and he sheaths his own machete as his eyes scan the floor around you. Something intriguing gleams in his dark drown eyes as his gaze sweeps over the bodies, ad then his eyes snap over to where you still stand with your machete.
The warm scent of fresh blood draws your full attention to him, and you spot the wound on his shoulder, wrinkling your nose as the scent makes part of your body electrified and ready for a hunt. You approach the alert man carefully as he gives hum of agreement and turns to head out to the car, and clamp one hand down over his uninjured shoulder.
"You should let me see to your shoulder once we're home." He shrugs off your hand, and the two of you head to the car in silence as you try to figure out what he's thinking. Ketch's dark hair and shirt are spattered with vampire blood, and although a part of you feels guilty for hunting down your own kind, you can't help but feel proud of the quick job.
"Perhaps we should stop by the bunker on the way back. We can get cleaned up there." His tone is curt and almost emotionless as you slide into the drivers seat and he buckles his seatbelt in the front seat before taking your machete from you and throws it along with his own into the bag in the backseat.
"Sounds good to me. We can stop by somewhere on the way after that to eat before we get home too." You turn the key and start the car, pulling out of the hidden gravel road on to the highway as Ketch dials the Winchesters to tell them you're stopping by.
You're just about to ask him about where he wants to stop for food after leaving the bunker, a horn blares from your left, and your head snaps over as you see a transport truck heading for you from another street leading onto the highway. The driver doesn't seem to be conscious, and you slam your foot down hard on the gas in an attetmpt to get out of the way as Ketch swears and tries to brace himself. You think you're in the clear, but the the back end of the trailer swing around as the front of the truck hits a tree and the end of the trailer hits your car smack in the middle of your side.
Metal screeches and you stiffle a scream as you feel the impact, reaching over and trying to grab onto Ketch to pull him over to your side of the car as his side nears a tree. Snapping his seatbelt, you grab him by the shirt as he tries to hold onto the dash, and pull him over to you, shielding him with your body. You feel a sharp, hot pain in your side, and then the impact of the car hittinng a tree sends another burst of pain through you as you hold Ketch's barely conscious body close to your own.
"Ketch? Ketch!?" Sam's voice comes over the phone as he hears the sounds of the crash on his side of the phone, and your eyes flutter closed as a warm tiredness comes over you. Ketch's throat is close to your face, and you subconsciously nuzzle closer, finding some form of comfort in the strong pulse and his steady breathing
The next time your eyes open, it's because of the warm, sweet blood trickling past your lips and hitting the back of your throat. There's a muffled voice, and two vaguely familiar faces are hovering over you as you feel your fangs push out, and lick your lips tiredly. The blood is swallowed, and your pupils dilate as you taste the familiar liquid.
"Hey fangs. Thought you went and died on us there." Dean's face slowly comes into focus, and you start to feel the softness of the bed under you.
"Where's Arthur?" You mumble out the words as you try to ignore the urge to ask for more blood, and Dean rools his eyes as beside him, Sam points over to your right.
"Sleeping. You got the worst of the crash." Sam's voice makes you sigh in relief, and Dean furrows his brow at your state.
"She needs more. Hang on I'll grab another bag and heat it up a bit." Sam disappears from view, and you sink back against the sheets of the bed as you feel your healing kicking in slowly.
"Thank you." Dean shakes his head at your words, and you watch as his figure takes a seemingly empty blood bag from the desk beside you annd chucks it toward a trashcan.
"Just be more careful Y/n."
Sam reappears with another blood bag, this one type O, and he hooks it up to a straw for you as you hear Ketch waking up on the bed beside yours.
"You know, the only reason you're alive is because she pulled you over to her right? The whole left side of that car up front was caved in." You can car Dean's voice becoming more clear as you quietly sip on the blood, and feel strength returning to your body as your healing speeds up a bit. The room around you finally comes into focus, and you sit up, propping yourself against the headboard,
" Y/n," Ketch's draws your attention away from the bloodbag, and you swallow, before licking your lips and nodding yowards him to continue. "You saved my life."
"Damn straight she did." Sam ushers Dean out as the older Winchester makes the remark, and the door closes.
"Eh. What can I say? I guess I've gotten attached to your stupid ways." You send him a grin as your fangs sink back into your gums, and watch in curioity as his eyes scan over your face.
Ignoring your playful jab, he clears his throat before looking directly into your eyes. "I know you can eat normal food, so perhaps I could take you out to dinner soon."
Your e/c eyes widen at his proposal, and you awkwardly play with your fingers. Your mind spinning as you try to figure out if he knows how you feel about him.
"That sounds nice. Maybe once we're fully healed?"
The hunter sends you a small smile, and your heart thumps almost painfully in your chest as you see it.
"I wouldn't mind that."
Benny Lafitte~
The almost silent sound of breathing is what wakes you up from your sight slumber, and you squint through the darkness at the shape in your doorway.
"Theresa? Come on in." You sit up in your bed, rubbing your eyes as your room mate's shaky form approaches your bed, and you pull her down next to you. She wipes away tears as you wrap an arm around her, and you feel her lean into your touch.
"I was checking the near future because I heard about a couple kidnappings and murders in the area, and you weren't there. There was blood all over the kitchen and you were no where near home." Her voice cracks as she speaks, and you feel fear pulsing through you as you shiver. Theresa's future sight spell has never been wrong before, and you suck in a sharp breath before daring to ask the question buring in the back of your mind.
"How far into the future did you look?" Theresa's eyes seem to bore into yours, and your heart drops as she whispers out the two words.
"Four days." You pull her closer to you as she sniffels and grasps at your shirt, and you contemplate your descisions.
"I can put up protection spells and we can even just leave the house that night maybe." She tries to reassure you, but you're already thinking of your own plan.
"You remember that guy that brought me home a couple months ago when I was taken by those vampires?" Your eyes flick over to your nightstand table where you have his name and number scribbled on a piece of paper in the drawer, and Thesesa slowly nods her head.
"But isn't he a vampire? I know he helped you last time, but what if you get hurt and he turns on you at the first scent of blood?" She shifts on the bedsheets as you lean over, grabbing your phone and the paper with his number from your drawer.
With a shake of your head, you dial the number and she takes your free hand in yours as you hear him pick up, and the faint sound of breathing sounds from the other end of the line.
"Benny? Benny Lafitte?" Your voice is almost a whisper as you speak, and Theresa squeezes your hand in reassurance before getting up and mumbling something about chamomile tea.
"That's me. What's your name and how can I help you darlin'?" The familiar voice of the vampire makes you breath out a shaky sigh of relief, and you clear your throat before starting to explain the situation.
"It's me, Y/n. I was wondering how far away you are from here? Something bad is about to happen."
He's silent for a moment, and you start to worry that he hung up while you were talking, but the soothing sound of his voice makes you relax.
"Ah, Y/n. When do you need me to be there doll? I'm about two states over."
You nearly start to cry in relief as he speaks, and you hear the faint sound of rustling in the background, as if he was getting dressed. "I have three days. I was told I would be either kidnapped or dead by the fourth day."
An almost silent curse leaves the vampire's lips, and you shiver as you wrap the blanket tighter around yourself.
"I know a guy who can get there sooner. His name is Dean and he should be in your state right now. I'll get there as soon as I can but he'll probably be there first. Stay with your roommate and get her to cast some of those protection spell things alright? I'm on my way." The faint sound of a truck starting actually does make you start to cry, and through tears, you manage to mumble out a thank you and hang up as Thereas returns to your room with two cups of chamomile tea.
The next day, there's a knock on the front door as you're baking a pie. Theresa is out getting ingrediants, and your heart practically stops in fear before you lunge ver to grab a knife, and pull the hex bag from your pocket, ready to throw it and mumble out the activation spell if needed.
"Hey is anyone home? My name is Dean, and I'm with my brother Sammy. Benny sent us to find someone named Y/n and keep them safe?" A voice sounds from the other side of your door, and you hesitantly open it just a crack to peek out, recognizing the face on the picture Benny had sent you.
You slide the hex bag back into your pocket, happy that you won't have to turn anyone into a worm, and open the door all the way, your gaze sliding over the two men, lingering a tad bit longer on the taller one before waving them inside.
Dean immediately sniffs the air smelling something familiar and sweet, and you panic as you realise your pie has been in the oven for a little too long.
"Shit! Hang on." You dart back towards the kitchen, leaving the brothers standing awkwardly in the entryway. You slide on our oven mitts before pulling out the apple pie and setting it on the stove. "Damnit!" You turn off the stove, relieved that the pie isn't burnt, but also embarrassed that the two men had seen your mess of a kitchen.
Sam pokes his head into the kitchen, looking almost worried, but once he sees you standing cross armed glaring at the stove he relaxes, making sure you hear his footsteps as he walks into the messy room.
"Want any help with that? Dean is outside doing a quick perimeter sweep." Your eyes widen as he says that, and you shoot over to your back door, flinging it open just as Dean is about to step onto the first step.
"Wait stop! You can't go up those steps or you'll be cursed!" Dean quickly jumps back as you bend over, resting your hands on your knees and letting out a sigh.
"I'm so sorry I should have warned you." You take the few steps forwards and move the hex bag from under the mat in front of the steps, disarming it with a few whispered words.
Sam catches up to you, peering over to see Dean standing frozen on the lawn.
"It would have turned you into a slug." You shake your head, and wave him over. "I disarmed it, but it's not the only hex bag. There's one on each side of the fence around the house to turn hostile creatures into dust." The memory of a demon screeching as it crumbled to dust after climbing over your back fence makes you shiver, and you bring Dean back inside before reactivating the hex bag and sliding it back under the mat.
Another two days later, you're sitting with Sam in your livingroom as Dean lays down in the guest room. Theresa is out again with two other witches, who are working together on a stronger protection spell.
Sam is telling you an old college story and you're both drinking juice boxes as you try to relax. A soft knock on your front door has Sam jolting to his feet, and your eyes widen as he keeps you behind him as the two of you approach the door. Sam holds his gun carefully, fully prepared to shoot as he nears the door.
"Who is it?" You call out from behind Sam as you hold a hex bag, and hear Dean coming down the stairs behind you. The older Winchester handling a knife.
"Easy darlin' it's just me." The familiar voice of Benny makes a smile break over your lips, and the brothers both give a sigh of relief. Unlocking your door, you welcome in the vampire, noticing the disarmed hex bag in his hands.
"Thanks for the warning about this." He hands it to you as all four of you move to the livingroom, and you close the door behind Benny, making sure that it's locked.
"Okay now that you're here, what's the plan?" Dean settles on the couch beside Sam as you and Benny take the two arm chairs, and Sam looks up after grabbing his juice box. Dean snorts in amusement as he sees the juice box, but Sam ignores him, sipping on the sweet apple beverage as he lays out his plan.
"Benny should take Y/n out somewhere tonight, and when the person or creature comes here, we'll handle it. According to Theresa's future sight spell, it was able to get past the hex bags, so it's smart." The tall man takes a moment to go over the plan, and you leave the room as they start talking about what the ccreature probably is, and go over the information the have on it so far. The boys had been going out to try and figure out what the creature was, and whenever they were here at your home they would be doing research to determine what it could be.
You stand alone in your kitchen, debatinng on calling Theresa, but she's at work, and you know you can trust these three men to keep you safe.
"You alright there Y/n?" Benny's voice rings out from behind you, and your heart sends a little jolt to your chest as you realise how close he had gotten before you had realised he was in the room.
"I guess? I'm just scared." You feel comfortable in the presence of the vampire, knowing that he's harmless to you, and he joins you at the island. Sitting down on the stool next to you, he looks over at you, watching the way your fingers fidgit with a hex bag, and he reaches out, carefully taking the hex bag from your hand and setting it on the counter.
"If you don't be careful with that you might set it off Y/n." You look up to his kind blue eyes, and sigh, a tingle running up your arms as you realise he's still holding your shaky hands in his.
"Tell you what doll, I'll make sure your mind stays off of what happens here tonight alright? We can go for a ddrive in my truck and watch the stars somewhere until Dean says it's safe to come bacl." He rubs his thumb softly over the back of your hand, and you're nodding your head before you can realise it. The thought of watching the stars with Benny Lafitte has you feeling warm inside, and inwardly scold yourself for looking to far into the action.
"Maybe when this is over we can go on a proper date." His next words suprise you, and you can feel a blush working it's way to your cheeks as you nod your head again.
"I would like that."
Garth Fitzgerald~
Garth🐺
Hey Y/n, I have another case in your area and I was wondering if you wanted to help?
The familiar ping from Garth's text is what snaps you out of your dazed morning state, and at the table beside you, Tyler sips at his tea. The dark haired man slides you your phone after his eyes graze over the message, and a toothy grin spreads his lips as you read the text.
Y/n
Sure. Send me what you have so far.
"You gave him his own ringtone and a name with an emoji? Did you two get together or something?" Tyler teases you as you roll your eyes and send your response, and you pick up your coffee again.
"Nah. Just like to know who's calling or texting. He's not the only Garth I know either, so I might as well have something different for his contact." You make up the exxcuses on the spot as your face warms up, and Tyler chuckles lowly before standing up and stretching.
"In that case, I'll join that hunt. Gotta make sure nothing saucy happens in those motel rooms eh?" The taller man barks out a laugh and ducks under the pen you throw at him as you get up from the table. Face burning, you duck around him and place your mug by the sink to wash later.
Garth🐺
Great! I'll be there in a couple hours.
Document (8).docx sent
Y/n
See you then.
Leaving the kitchen, you head over to the stairs to start reading the information he sent to you.
"If he sent any spicy pictures make sure you let me send him some of my own! I've gotta protect your innocence Y/n!" You slam the door with a beet red face as Tyler embarrasses you further, and throw yourself on the bed as you click on the link and start scrolling through the pictures of newspaper clippings and scribbled notes.
By five (5), you were almost fully caught up with the hunt, and you plug in your phone to charge before grabbing a burner phone from your desk and dialing Garth's number.
"Hey Y/n, I'm just driving into your town right now actually!" Garth picks up on the second ring, his enthusiastic voice making you smile as you sit back on the bed and turn the phone to speaker.
"Awesome! What's the cover? Feds again?" You strip off your button up shirt and jeans, walking over to your closet and pulling out the suit in the corner.
"Yeah that sounds good. I'll stop to get changed somewhere. Is Tyler coming too?" His voice echoes through your room as you slip on the suit and start to tie your tie. With a quick glance in the mirror, you head back over to your phone and sit down on the bed before picking it up and taking it off speaker.
"Yeah. He'll behave himself don't worry." You wrinkle your nose at the memory of your last team up with Garth and Tyler, which ended up with Tyler in the river trying to kill a goose that bit you.
"Sounds good to me. Want me to stop by and we can drive together?" You can hear the rumbling engion of his truck in the background, and think to the sleek black car in your driveway compared to his older truck.
"Probably a good plan. We can take my car too. See you soon wolf boy." A grin quirks at the corners of your mouth as he says his own goodbye, and you hang up before heading out of your room to tell Tyler the plan.
Not even an hour later, You're in your car, Garth in the passenger seat beside you as Tyler sits in the back in his dog with a blue collar around his neck.
"Be a good boy and don't drool on the seats Tyler." You smirk as you tease him, and Tyler growls back at you while Garth fiddles with a gun in his lap. He's wearing thin gloves as he handles the silver bullets, and you see him flinch with a low grunt as one of the falls and brushes against the exposed skin of his wrist.
Sympathy for the good natured werewolf makes your eyes softten, before your attention returns to the road ahead of you. In the backseat, Tyler is dozing off, and you reach over with one hand to take the gun from him, setting it on the consol between the two of you.
"Why so tense?" You take one of his hands in yours as you see his sharpened claws, and rub a tumb over the back of his hand.
"Sorry. It's just been a while since I've been alone with a cute girl..." His voice is almost a whisper on the last few words, and your hand freezes on his as your eyes tear away from the road to look as his blushing face.
"But Tyler's in the backseat?" You try to avoid his words, assuming you didn't hear him correctly.
"You weren't supposed to hear that!" Your eyes flick between Garth and the road ahead as he flushes a deeper red, and his hand shakes a little nervously. With a roll of your eyes, you release his hand and return your right hand to the steering wheel. Garth falls silent, likely embarrassed, but you clear your throat.
"You're pretty cute yourself you know." Keeping your voice steady, you feel your heart speed up as your eyes slide between Garth and the road, turning down a street to pull into a motel as the sun starts to go down. "Maybe I should take you out sometime when we're both free?" You make the offer as the car stops, and you could swear the man is about to burst as he avoids your lingering gaze, keeping his eyes on the hand that was holding his.
"I think that sounds great." He finally meets your eyes, and you allow the smile to return to your face as you see his adorable grin.
Jack Kline~
Your eyes flash black as you give a lazy grin to the woman tied up in the chair.
"Sweetheart I'm your guardian demon." You wink at her as you cut the ropes, and you can see her already starting to regret asking who you are as she stares at your eyes. Flicking back to your normal e/c, they dart around the room before you help her to her feet and start towards the front door with her stumbling beside you. You have one arm around her waist as you support her, and you keep all your senses alert as you hear car door slamming outside.
"He's back!" The woman cries out, struggling away from you and running towards a room, which you assume has a locking door.
"Lady come on! I can't get you out of here and to safety if you don't work with me here." Your foot taps against the floor as you hear two sets of footsteps near the front door, and two more at the back door. "Okay hang on, just stay there and I'll deal with the assholes." With a sigh of annoyance, you step out of sight just as the two doors are kicked down, and the second all four people are in the hallway, you step out and flick your wrist, sending them all crashing against the wall of the livingroom.
"Wait the Winchesters? You guys kidnapped the crying lady?" Raising a brow, you hold them all against the wall, waiting for their explanation.
"What? You found Karen?" The taller Winchester, Sam if you remember correctly, speaks first, and you narrow your eyes. Of course her name is Karen.
Releasing your hold on the four men, you finally notice the faces of the angel and the nephilim, and a grin breaks across your lips at the sight of the cute younger one. "Yeah. She's hiding in that room." You gesture vaguely towards the room she locked herself into, and both Winchester brothers head over, the shorter one giving you a look of distrust as the angel and nephilim stay with you.
"You're a demon." The youngest male in the room sends you an untrusting look, and you pout with fake sadness.
"Yeah but I'm not that bad. Unlike most of my kind, I stole back my soul." With a smirk, you turn to head over to the Winchesters, who are standing with Karen now.
"Why are you helping people if you're a demon? Dean told me all demon want is death and destruction." He follows you closely as the angel watches, and you shake your head as you check over the woman you had saved.
"Pretty much yeah. But like I said, I have my soul back. I figured I might as well help out with some missing person cases. Hell I work with the real FBI now." You pull the phone from your pocket, texting the house's address to your boss and snapping a quick picture of Karen to tell him you found her and to send someone for her.
"So you were a hunter before?" His endless questions make your expression soften a bit, and before you realise what you're doing, there's a pen in your hand, and you're scribbling your number on a sticky note.
"Why don't you ask me your questions over dinner sometime? Call me when you're free and I'll take you wherever you want cutie." He tilts his head in confusion, and behind his, the angel's eyes widen almost comically. "Oh don't worry your pretty little face about it feathers. Your son is safe with me."
Handing the nephilim the piece of paper, you wink at him before walking over to Karen and the boys, taking her gently by the arm away from Sam, and escorting her out of the house.
"The vampires are all yours boys. Make sure you don't leave too much of a mess though. And don't forget to call me little nephilim. I still need your name." The door shuts behind you as you help Karen down the front steps, and you hear sirens coming closer.
Kevin Tran~
Waves crash against the side of the cliff as you and your friends take a moment to relax. Linda and Kevin Tran are both with you, and together, the six of you are talking a break from the seemingly endless driving. While Kevin talks quietly with Jason, Deven and Kylie are off for some alone time together. You yourself sit beside Mrs Tran, leaning back against a rocky slope as the older woman stresses about time.
"Hey, this is fine. We're safe for a while here okay?" You try to comfort the woman, but she shakes her head, opening her mouth to say something, then deciding against it. She rises to her feet, walking over to sit by her son as you watch the waves crashing against the cliff.
You stay by yourself for a while after that, until the sky starts to darken, and both Kylie and Deven have returned. Linda is sleeping on the blanket that Jason had spread out, finally getting some proper shut eye for the first time in months, and Jason is sprawled out on the grass snoring away.
Kevin however, had moved a little closer to the edge of the cliff, looking out to the water as he sits silently. Your gaze drifts over to him, trying to focus on anything other then how the moonlight seems to bask him in a silvery glow, and you stand up. A few satisfying stretches later, you're approaching the prophet and sitting down next to him, accidentally brushing your knee against his as you sit cross legged.
"So, how are you doing?" You keep your voice low, not wanting to wake anyone up, and Kevin looks over to you, his dark chocolate eyes looking almost black in the darkness as a cloud passes in front of the moon.
"As good as I can be I guess. You want some blanket?" He lifts the blanket off his shoulders as he sees goosebumps prickling on your forearms, and you quickly nod.
"Yes please!" You wriggle under the blanket beside him, pressing against his right side as he lifts the warm fabric over your shoulders and leaves his arm draped over you. Thinking nothing of the action, you hesitantly rest your head on his shoulder, getting more comfortable as a light breeze picks up. Kevin doesn't seem bothered however, and he only pulls the blanket closer while resting his own head on yours.
"Should we wake them up to get to a motel? I don't think it'll get too cold, and they've all got blankets over them, but better safe then sorry right?" Keeping your words quiet, you tilt your head to look up at him, and he slowly nods.
"Probably yeah. It wouldn't be safe to fall asleep here. But can wait a bit? This is nice." His words send a pleasant warmth through you as you realise the position you're in, and you feel a blush coming on as his fingers trace a circle on your shoulder.
"Okay." Your voice is almost unheard as you lean into his warmth, enjoying the rare human contact, and looking up at the stars. A small smile spreads your lips, and you lean back, pulling him down by the arm as you lay on your back.
He makes a sound of confusion, but you take his cheek in one of your hands and tilt his face to look up. "Aren't they beautiful?"
His eyes reflect the stars shining above as he looks heavenward, and his own smile slowly appears as his eyes switch between you and the sky. "They are."
Kevin's hand slowly works it's way over to where yours is resting on your stomach, and he takes it in his, watching your reaction carefully for any signs of unease.
You on the other hand, are trying not to hyperventilate. Your crush is holding your hand of his own free will. You're hyper aware of the feeling of his fingers over yours, and you slowly open your hand from the fist it's in, allowing his warm fingers to slot between yours.
"By any chance, would you want to go out with me sometime when this is over? Or maybe even sooner?" He's nervous, his hand warming up over yours, but you flip over yours, twining your fingers with his and you look over to him, finding him already gazing at you.
"I would love to Kevin. As long as you don't expect me to bring the others along?" You risk the words, and find a bright smile on his face as he shakes his head.
"Just us. You and me."
Mary Winchester~
Your eyes are wide as you look around the busy streets and see nothing but living, breathing people. Beside you, Mary take your hand in hers as you stand frozen, seemilng amused at your reaction to the non-apocalyptic world she lives in.
Bobby is a couple steps back, keeping an eye on you as if you might snap at any moment, but you're too busy trying to find something, anything wrong with this place. This world just seems too easy. Too perfect. Sure there are still monsters, but the people don't know. The people live so freely.
"Is this really real?" Your voice is awed as you see a mother and her daughter laughing and walking out of a restaurant, a couple of people stopped to watch a person performing some sort of music on a small stage, a group of teenagers skipping school to hang out. You're utterly speechless at the town around you, andsuddenly excitement starts to bubble up within you.
"Yes this is real Y/n." Mary squeezes your hand affectiontely, and you turn to her, eyes shining.
"I want to explore it! I'll be back soon I promise, but I need to find the perfect place!" With that being said, the last thing you see before you fly to Canada is her confused face, and hear a muffled curse from Bobby.
Then you're in Alberta. You soar above the cities, and your eyes scan over the rolling fields that seem to last forever. Ottawa is next, and your eyes light up as you see the huge cities and hundreds of thousands of living, breathing people. The rest of Canada passes by in a blur, and sooner then you realise, you've explore all of it.
It's been a week since you left Mary and Bobby, and you just left Australia to return to America and bring back the best locations.
"I'm going to show her so many places!" You're almost bouncing in excitement as you enter the bunker, and that causes you to make a mistake as you descend the stairs. Seeing familiar blond hair, you speed up, caling out to Mary Winchester as you reach the last few steps, and the second she turns, it happens. You trip, eyes widening as all activity in the main rom of the bunker stops to see you fall on your face in front of Mary.
"Y/n? Where have you been? Are you okay?" Castiel is by your side in an instant, and you're quickly back up on your feet, excitement still rushing through you as you wave him off and bound over to your crush, who is watching you in both concern and amusement.
"Mary! I found the perfect places!" You pull a wrinkled piece of paper from your jeans pocket, not realising that people are still staring at you, and you excitedly handing it over to her. Her mouth opens to ask a question, but you beat her to it.
"Back when we were in my world, you said that you had wanted to see the world before you died, but that you probably never would because hunters have shorter life spans right? Well I did some flying around in my world after that to see what there was to show you but everything was in ruins there." You pause to take a breath, and see realisation sinking in to her as her own eyes widen.
"So I put together this list, and I went to every single place then added more so that you can see the world like you wanted to!" Your grin is contagious, and Behind her, Bobby's jaw is dropped.
"You need to tell us before leaving like that boy!" His voice is stern, but you shake your head, quickly bringing up the fact that you had indeed told him, but last minute.
A few moments later, you're talking to Sam and Dean about how you'll stay in contact while you and Mary are exploring the world. Deciding on sending prayers and the occasional phone call is the final decision, and soon enough, Mary is standing in front of you, saying goodbye to her sons, who are still uneasy around you.
"You still havne't told us why you're doing this Y/n." Sam's voice is curious, and Dean looks over to you in curiosity as he sips on his beer.
You shrug, flashing Mary a smile and responding easily. "Because I like her. Mary is a wonderful person, and her soul is pure and warm. She was an amazing mother to the two of you when she was with you, and if that girl I talked to in New Mexico was right, I think I like her romantically." You say this as if it's the easiest thing in the world, your honesty making Dean choke on his beer, and Jack clears his airways with a wave of his hand as he smiles encouragingly at you.
Sam chuckles, thinking that just maybe, you'll be good for his mother, and Castiel just stares as the interaction goes down.
You turn back to Mary, who is standing there is shock as you smile warmly at her, and you hold out a hand to her. "So will you still let me show you the world?"
Mick Davies~
The ghost screeches as you punch it, your iron, salt infused knuckles slamming straight into it's face. Beside you, Sam is dumping salt on the bones, while Mick fumbles with the gasoline.
The ghost had been haunting this cemetary for years, killing people who would come alone to talk to the graves of their children. If the ghost heard a person talking, they would rip out their vocal cords before gouging out their eyes.
You're thrown back into another tombstone, and hiss out a sound of pain. Sam finally lights the match, dropping it into the hole, while Mick comes running over to your side.
"Are you alright?" He carefully helps you to your feet, and you rub the sore spot on your back with a nod of your head.
"Of course. I trust the two of you are okay too?" Your eyes scan over the figures of Sam and Mick as Sam walks over to you, and he gives a tired thumbs up.
"We're good Y/n."
About half an hour later, you're dropping Sam off at the bunker for him to sneak in, and starting on your drive back to the motel you had been staying at.
"You don't happen to have anything particularly important to do tomorrow morning, do you Y/n?" Raising a brow at his odd question, you look over to Mick who is sitting comfortably in your passenger seat. Thinking about your weekly schedule, you shake your head, knowing that your meeting with Ketch and the other men of letters is later, at seven (7) PM.
"No, why?" He shifts in the seat as you pull into the parking lot of the motel, and you glance over to him again as he seems to start getting nervous. The two of you leave the car, slamming the doors shut and walking up to the door to the motel.
"Well, I was thinking about taking you to breakfast. Sam told me about a lovely cafe here in Kansas and I thought you would like it."
Your heart practically does a flip as you hear his words, and you flush a deep red as you both enter the motel room. "I would love that Mick." Hiding your face in your hands, you hurriedly grab your change of clothes and go to the bathroom for a shower.
Mick watches as you nearly run into the doorframe, a smile decorating his face as his eyes spot the red on your poorly hidden cheeks.
Micheal~
"If you call me again I swear I will go back to your house and castrate you." You abruptly hang up the phone on your ex, anger surging through you as you throw the innocent device on your bed and flop down beside it. From your doorway, you hear a cough, and look over to see Adam standing there with a bowl of pop corn.
"You still watching the movie with us or..." He shifts on his feet, clearly nervous, and you sigh as you slip your phone into your hoodie pocket and nod your head.
"Yeah I'm coming." You hurriedly slip on a pair of fuzzy socks and run out of your room, sliding to a stop in the livingroom on the cool wooden floors.
"Are you sure you're an adult?" Micheal looks up at you from his spot on the couch and you point right back at him.
"I'm not the one wearing polka dotted and striped socks that are lime green and pink." Adam chokes out a laugh as he looks down and sees that you're right, before plopping down on the couch with the bowl of popcorn.
"They're comfortable." After that his mouth snaps shut, and his attention returns to the television where the opening credits to The Avengers are playing.
You throw yourself onto the couch between the two, tucking your feet up onto the couch and holding your knees to your chest as Micheal snaps a blanket over the three of you.
Throughout the movie, which you have watched at least seventeen (17) times, you find yourself drifting off, and soon enough, your head slumps onto Adam's shoulder. The blond boy thinks nothing of it, only adjiusting his position so that he's more comfortable while you sleep on his shoulder. Micheal however, can't help but stop focusing on the movie, his eyes continuously flashing between you and the screen, before he finally gives up and reaches over.
The dark-haired archangel wraps one arm around you, pulling you over to him while Adam watches the movie, after a moment, the human realises that your warmth is no longer pressed to his side, and he looks over. But seeing your head resting on Micheal's lap, and said archangel looking more relaxed then he had in the past few months, he grins. Snapping a quick picture for blackmail, he returns his attention to the movie.
By the time the end credits are rolling, Micheal has his eyes closed, not truely sleeping, but being the closest to sleeping that he's ever been. Adam on the other hand, is sprawled out over your legs. His head is resting between your side and the back of the couch, making Micheal wonder how the boy is even breathing. One arm is thrown over your stomach, with the other pinned uncomfortably between his side and the back of the couch.
A faint, yet obnoxious ringtone sounds from your hoodie pocket, and Micheal opens his eyes. Reaching over, he carefully slides your phone out of your pocket, and narrows his eyes at the name on the screen.
-Fucking asshole is calling-
He taps the answer button with his thumb, checking to make sure you're not awake by poking your cheek.
"Y/n? I know you told me not to call but I want you- no I need you back. Please!"
Micheal listens to the man on the other end of the phone line. A tingle of anger running through him as he hears the voice you had been talking to earlier on the phone. The one you clearly were done with.
"Kristy left me for some other guy and now I can't stop thinking about you." His mouth quirks up into a smile at that line, and in his head, he sends out a thank you to Gabriel.
"Why aren't you saying anything? Ae you thinking about it at least?" The voice is almost pleading as your ex tries to convince you to come back, not knowing that you aren't the one on the phone.
"She won't be returning to you. Ever. So run along and don't call this number again little human. Y/n is mine now, and you don't want to see me mad." With that said clearly, Micheal ends the call before hearing the other man's response.
Setting the phone down on the arm rest, he looks back down at your face on his lap, tucking a strand of hair behind your eyes.
"Since when was I yours?" Your e/c eyes flick open as you feel his fingers grazing over your skin, and he stiffens, not having realised that you woke up.
"How much did you hear?" He avoids your question, and you wrinkle your nose as you look up at him, finding this position to be rather comfortable as long as you ignore the fact that Adam is almost crushing your legs and his breathing which has made your side rather warm.
"Since he called. I chose that ringtone because I hate it so I'm already in a bad mood when I pick up."
He nods at your words. Trying to keep calm and seem unbothered by the fact that your head is on his lap and you're a w a k e.
"Soooo mind explaining the whole 'she is mine' part? Cause like, you need to be at least a level eight (8) friend to call me yours."
He almost faceplants at your words. Happy yet a little disappointed that you didn't figure it out by now. "Perhaps I want to be more then a friend to you Y/n. Have you considered that yet?" He shoots his shot. The risk high, but rewards plenty if he succeeds.
With a roll of your eyes, you keep your calm facade, though mostly trying to not show your excitement.
"Take me on a date first, then we'll talk."
Rowena MacLeod~
The scent of lavender is the first thing that hits your sensitive nose as you feel yourself growing. Your paws lengthen, and toes twist to become fingers. Your ears moving to the sides of your head as your tail shrinks back into your back.
"Finally!" The first thing you do when you're finally human, is turn around and punch Dean sharply in the gut. The taller man grunts and lurches back, a betrayed look gracing his facial features as Sam's eyes widen. The taller Winchester steps forward and holds out a hand to stop you while Rowena holds back a laugh.
"Woah woah woah!" Sam steps between you and his brother, but you're already turning towards Rowena with a smile.
"You're cute. You saved my sorry hide, and you're a witch. I'm interested, and taking you out on a date sometime if you don't mind." The beautiful witch's eyes are wide as saucers as you finish your statement, and you send her your best smile.
"Of course it's no problem if you have a boyfr-"
"I'll do it."
