Third Person's POV

Krypton: June 6: 7:25pm EST

Somewhere in the building of planet Krypton what seems like a bedroom a young teenage boy with black hair and blue eyes wearing a white skin tight bodysuit with a small ball in his hands

"I Wonder if you're okay, Krypto?" He said to himself before hearing the door knocking "Come in!" He yells as he hears the door opening he turns and sees a familiar face in the form of a young teenage girl with blonde hair and blue eyes brighter than the boy's "Oh Hey, Kara, you need anything?"

"Well, not really, I just wanted to know how you been since Krypto was away, Val-el" the girl responds.

The boy named Val-el frowns "I'm doing okay..." he responds sadly.

"Hey don't feel bad, I'm sure Krypto will be alright" Kara said attempting to cheer the boy up.

"Maybe, you're right, Kara" he said with a smile.

-a bit later-

Val-el runs in the lab looking confused "mother, father, what's going on, why's our home rumbling"

Jor-el and Lara look at each other and look at their eldest son

"Val-el there is one thing that I would want you to do for me" he takes Val-el to a pod that what seemed to be like a ship "you're going to have to leave the planet for a while, we trust you in taking care of Kal-el"

Val-el looks confused "but what about you guys" he questions as he sees his mother putting a baby in the pod.

Lara walks up and cups Val-el's face with her hands "We want to be sure that you'll be out of Krypton" she tells him

"Mother..." he mutters

Lara moves her hands away "we love you our son" she said before pressing a button as the ships fly off the planet.

Val-el's eyes widen as he sees his home exploding from inside out much to his shock he looks over and sees his baby brother's ship and looks at him with sadness but the impact of the explosion forces both ships to separate coordinate.

"N-no, Kal-el!" He sees Kal-el's ship flying further from his "Kal-el!" He calls as he enters a familiar portal...the Phantom Zone.

-Twenty-four years later-

Metropolis: March 2: 11:11 EST

Val-el leaving phantom zone after years he hadn't aged during his time there. His ship crashes on a streets of metropolis, the people in the area witnessed the ship crashing. The ship open focing Val-el to wake up with a annoyed groan.

"Seriously this crap of ship could at least land right" the alien states with clear annoyance in his tone of voice before noticing the witnesses looking at him "Uh... hello?" He greets unsurely while waving awkwardly.

Val-el laughs nervously before dashing off throught metropolis, in a distance he sees a bank robbery making Val-el frowns and knocks the robbers out cold before continuing on running.

Val-el then after a few minutes of running looks around confused and sees that he's out of Metropolis.

"What a awful first impression here on Earth; this is Earth, right?" Val-el questions himself before suddenly he begins to float up in the air startling himself making the Kryptonian look up at the sun "Woah! Yep, this is definitely Earth!" He confirms as he remembers the time where his mother taught him about the yellow sun allowing him to awake his superpowers

"Good thing I learned this from mom, I would've been like a lost child on this planet" Val-el comment as he looks around "Now where I can find Kal-el's ship?" He says before flying off

Wondering Kal-el whereabouts around the planet, not knowing that his baby brother is now a adult as Twenty-four years had passed.

Val-el looking all over for the ship as frustration and anger builds up that he cuss in Kryptonian language. While landing on the middle of nowhere.

"Where can I find a Kryptonian ship with a baby inside in the middle of a planet with only earthlings!?" Val-el groans in frustration and sadness.

"Excuse me?" A matured masculine voice is heard.

Val-el startles and turns and sees a tall handsome young man wearing some blue and red clothes. Val-el gasps when he sees the familiar symbol on the man's chest "that symbol..." he mutters which the other man heard due to superhearing. Val-el flies up to the taller man "Are you a Kryptonian?" He asks.

The man nods "I am...and I'm guessing that you are as well judging by your clothing" he points.

Val-el looks at his white skin tight bodysuit before looking back at the older Kryptonian "yes...I've been looking for my brother and we were sent away when Krypton destroyed and I was sent away to take care of my baby brother as I promised mom and dad Lara and Jor-el" he explains.

The man's eyes widen with shock "Did you said Jor-el and Lara?" He questions.

"Yeah, why?" He asks back.

The man looks hesitant but sighs and looks at the teen "This is going to be shocking for you, but...the destruction of Krypton happened Twenty-four years ago..." he said.

Val-el's eyes widen at this revelation "What?" He asked with shock.

"Yeah, where have you been?" The older Kryptonian asks.

Val-el looks at the man with concern "The phantom zone why?" He asks.

The man sighs "Figured... Kid, I believe that you've been in a Hibernation at the phantom zone for... Twenty-four years" the then said.

Val-el looks down in shock and sadness "well if what you said is true... I guess Kal must be a adult now considering I was on hibernation for Twenty-four years" he says.

The older Kryptonian gasps "Did you said Kal?"

Val-el look up at the man "Yeah, he's my baby brother, or was in this case" he said

The man look shocked as he realizes who the teenager is "no way, Val-el!?"

Val-el looks taken a back by the man knowing his name "h-how you know my name?"

The blue and red Kryptonian points at himself "Val, is me... Kal-el, well I go by Superman, for now; you may not believe it, but it's true" he said with a smile on his face.

Val-el takes a closer look at Superman and gasps when he realizes the resemblance "you are Kal-el" he states.

Superman nods "yeah..." he said looking concerned for his brother's state of mind.

"So that means..." Val-el grows angry at himself and unintentionally shoots out his heat vision hitting a tree before lightning up on fire. Val-el gasps and panics "no, no, no! I'm so sorry, I didn't know I can do that! I thought it only give me flight and superstrength" He apologizes.

Superman waves Val-el off "is the Yellow sun of the earth who gave me my powers I did the same thing with a tree when I first learned about my powers" he confesses.

Val-el looks shocked "you did?" He asks.

Superman nods "yeah back on the farm" he said as he recalled his childhood to his once older brother who listens.

Val-el looks at the now older Kal-el in amazement "Wow...a lot happened in my absence" Val-el said before looking at his lap "I failed mother and father" Superman looks at his brother confused "I was supposed to be looking after you and that stupid Explosion forced our ships to go different coordinates, Twenty-four years later I'm here with my baby brother who's not so baby anymore" he tears up "I failed them..."

"Val-el..." Kal-el looks at his once older brother sad and pulls him to a embrace "you didn't failed them. Luck wasn't in our favor then, now knowing the fact that you're still alive, I can't help but feeling happy, that I get to have someone from my family in my life" he said.

Val-el smiles and returns the gesture "Yeah, it's better late than never" he responds.

Kal-el smiles "I've always wanted to know what's like to have a brother" he said "come, I have some people for you to meet"

"Is not like I have anywhere to go, and I was here to raise you, looks like I don't need to do that" Val-el jokingly responds making both Kryptonian laugh and they both fly off.

-scene change-

Smallville: March 2: 12:11

The two Kryptonians had arrived to a farm and they landed at in the doorsteps.

"Why are we here for, again?" Val-el questions.

Superman looks at his brother "We're meeting the people who raised me to be the man I am today" he tells him while lightly knocking the door.

Then an elderly couple opened and sees the older Kryptonian they smile.

"Clark, you came" the woman said hugging the taller man.

Val-el looks at Kal-el "Clark?" He repeats.

Superman looks back at Val-el and smiles "that's how I go by if I'm not dressed like this" he explains while pointing at his uniform.

Val-el nods "I see..." he said.

The older man walks up to Val-el "Hello young one, judging by your clothes I assumed you're Kryptonian"

Superman also knonw as Clark stands next to Val-el "mom, dad, this is my biological brother, Val-el" he said introducing Val-el to the elderly couple know as Clark's adoptive parents "Val-el these are Martha and Johnathan Kent, my parents who raised me"

Val-el smiles at the Kent and nods his head "thank you so much for raising my brother during my absence" he said thankfully.

Martha smiles and cups Val-el's face "It's been a honor, Val-el"

"Feel free to call me Val is what everyone calls me" Val-el suggests.

John places a hand on Val-el's shoulder "We'll remember that" he said.

Clark pads Val's shoulder "Mom, Dad, Val needs a place to stay, for the time being" he tells his parents.

"Of course Val can stay here if he doesn't have a place to go" Martha brightly agrees.

Val looks surprised "t-that easy?" He questions out of disbelief

"We've raised Clark when he was your age, this is nothing"

"Ma!" Clark whines embarrassedly.

Val chuckles a bit "yeah, since growing up with a Kryptonian is never easy, I can tell how hard it was by just looking at you guys" he said.

As Val and the Kent's walk inside to show him around Clark stays outside for a few moments before tapping on his ear.

"It's me, I'm gonna need a favor to ask of you, and I need to be kept between us and only us" he said.

-time skip-

Gotham City; April 3; 08:25 EST

Val-el faces a tall building of the famous entrance of the prestigious Gotham Academy. Val looks up at the building out of awe.

He looks at the school with nervousness as Val-el -wearing a school uniform- pushing his glasses up nervously, yet determined "well... this is Gotham Academy, I wonder why I agree to go to this school?" He wonders outloud before taking the first step into the school before getting hit to the head by a football "Kal warned me something like that would happen" he mutters before picking the ball up from the floor.

"Sorry pal, can you pass me that" a voice is heard sounding a bit teasingly.

Val takes a deepbreath refusing his anger getting the better of him as he turns who throws the ball which seem to be a typically jock not wearing the signature tie. Val cautiously throws the ball at the blonde tall young man.

The young man catches it looking impressed with Val's throw "Wow, nice throw, kid" he complimented Val.

Val chuckles nervously before proceeding to continuing on walking to the school building.

-scene change-

In the halls of the Gotham Academy you can see a shoulder-length red hair female, draped around the back of her head as she has blue eyes.

And next to her is a Caucasian male with short black hair and blue eyes. He was fairly short for his age and had a lean, well-toned build. His hair was left unkempt, hanging over his forehead.

"Hey, did you hear, the new transferred student made a first impression to Jayden Torch" a voice is heard by the two.

"Transferred" the two teens exchange looks as they proceed to continue on their way.

Then the shorter male bumps into what felt like he bumped into a wall making him fall on his butt.

"Are you okay?" The boy looks up and sees Val looking down at him with a hand out to him "you're not hurt, are you?" Val asks.

"U-uh...I-I..." he stutters as he could've swore he sees stars sparkling around Val.

The girl then helps the boy stand "he'll be fine he'd faced worse, so you're the transferred student we've just heard about? I don't quite remember seeing you here before"

Val nods while pushing up his glasses "yes, I just got here, I'm heading to the cafeteria, just to see what they have in store" he explains.

"That's where heading, want to come along?" The girl offers.

Val smiles "sure, I would love to" he responds with a smile.

"Also my name is-" the girl tried to introduce himself but gets cut off.

"Dick! I-I'm Dick Grayson" the boy introduces himself.

"Dick like a penis?" Val questions unsurely.

The girl immediately looks away holding back her laughter as Dick blushes out of embarrassment "n-not that type of Dick! My name is actually Richard but I get called Dick because is a family nickname" he explains.

Val now embarrassed himself looks away "sorry for assuming ahead of time" he quickly apologized.

Seeing the two talking the girl shakes her head 'I have a feeling this is going to take a while' she thinks to herself.

"I-It's fine you didn't know, Dick or Richard is fine" Dick tells Val.

"My name is Barbara Gordon" the girl finally introduces herself.

Val smiles "Valkiri Kent, but everyone calls me Val, it's nice to meet you" he said unaware of Dick's surprised look when he heard that the teenager in front of him is a Kent like a certain Kryptonian he knows.

-time skip-

Val walks out of the school gates with a piece of paper in hand as it shows the list of after school clubs the accademy offers as before suddenly a black car stops in front of Valkiri startling the boy.

The the window rolls down revealing a man in a suit "you must be Valkiri Kent" he said.

"Who am I speaking with?" He cautiously questioned.

"Bruce Wayne, a friend of your brother" he introduces himself plainly

Val looks surprised when Bruce is a friend of Kal-el's "you mean..." he looks around and whispers "Batman?" He whispers the name.

Bruce nods since he has a feeling that he can trust Val-el to keep his identity safe "I'm here to pick up Robin"

"The boy wonder himself, I didn't know he goes here" Val said surprised.

Bruce chuckle "I'm sure you've met him just that you haven't figured out"

"I really hope this isn't the last time we see each other" he said

Val nods "I can agree on that, have a nice evening, Mr. Wayne" he said as he walks away.

Bruce watches the Kryptonian walking away "he's going to be quite a interesting one for a Kryptonian"

-timeskip-

Gotham City; July 4th; 12:00 EDT

A Ice themed villain is attacking picnickers in Gotham City park, many of them running in fear only to be frozen. One family stares at the cliff he's standing on in shock.

"Enjoying family time?" the villain questions rhetorically, then freezes the family. "My family has other plans." he then slides down the ramp now going from the cliff. Taking aim at the running citizens of Gotham. Only for a Batarang to throw off his aim. "Batman." he says as if he's expecting it. "I was wondering when-"

He turns to find no one there. Only childish laughter echoing around him, which in an open area is impressive. From above, a black shadow is over his head. However what lands on him isn't the Batman, but rather Robin. Decked out in red, yellow, and black tactical gear. Knocking the ice villain down, then throwing two more disks at his helmet, cracking it.

"Oh. Boy Wonder." Freeze drawls. "The Bat sent you to drag me off to prison. Frankly, I'm underwhelmed." as he stands back up, aiming his ice gun at Robin this time

"Great, but I'm kinda in a hurry here." Robin dismisses, despite the fact that the gun is buzzing to life

"Kids." Freeze says in annoyance Always in such a rush."

"Not talking to you." Robin says in a sing-song tone. Freeze looks confused, so Robin just points behind him. Only to see Batman arrive with a flying punch to Freeze's face, breaking the glass of his helmet.

-meanwhile-

Star City Main Bridge; July 4th; 9:01 PDT

A other ice themed villain named Icicle Junior lands and ices up the bridge, before using his powers to create a shell of ice. Knocking cars off balance and causing many crashes He laughs almost maniacally before arrows start raining down.

In two colors, three green fletched ones and two red-fletched ones. He pauses for a moment only for another green one to hit him in the shoulder The nock of the arrow blinking red and beeping before blowing up. The small explosion knocks him off balance and towards the other arrows that then blow up and knock him back to where he was

As the head trauma begins to subside, he turns his head, looking to one of the towers on the bridge. On it stands Green Arrow and his partner Speedy. Both aiming another arrow at the ice-themed villain.

"Finally!" Icicle Junior growls. "I was wondering what a guy had to do to get a little attention around here." his left arm, now the one facing the archers. grows and becomes more mace-like in style. Before he brings it back and begins launching icicles at the archers. Following it up with another volley from his right hand which has mirrored his left.

The two archers begin releasing arrows with ease.

"Junior's doing this for attention?" Speedy asks, surprised. The first batch of icicles explode thanks to their arrows, but the second set still comes through. Forcing them to run across the tower's width and down to the suspender. They continue to launch arrows and dodge the ice that cements to where it hits before growing. "Im telling you now. This little distraction better not interfere."

The two archers launch a pair of arrows at Junior, who creates a shield in front of himself. However the arrows are explosive, creating a hole in the shield. Junior uses it to his advantage, launching ice at the younger archer.

Speedy jumps, flipping over them as he grabs and strings another arrow. As he straightens out, he takes aim and fires straight at Junior, hitting him right in the jaw. Knocking him down and out.

"Hahaha!" Green Arrow chuckles, standing mere feet from where Junior ended his slide. "Kid had a glass jaw." he comments as his partner lands gracefully a few feet away.

"Hilarious." Speedy drawls stepping a little closer to Green Arrow. "Can we go?" his patience is clearly wearing thin. "Today's the day."

-meanwhile, again-

Pearl Harbor, Hawai'i; July 4th; 6:02 HST

The harbor has many large shards of ice sticking out of the water. Many of the ships are frozen in place. Zooming in on one, a female ice themed villain, Killer Frost continues to use her powers.

Icing more of the ship and creating even more snowfall However, who she's throwing it at is Aquaman. Who dodges and comes down from the Open Bridge to the Turret, then to the second Turret before jumping to the deck

She predicts this and freezes him before he can get more than two feet down the deck.

Behind him and off to his left is Aqualad, jumping from the First Turret and over his mostly frozen mentor who breaks out and follows after him.

"Don't tell me you're not excited." Aquaman begins a conversation with his partner.

"Right now, my King, I am more focused on the matter at hand." the dark-skinned Atlantean tells him in a very formal tone. Dodging under a shot of ice, before faking right and getting Killer Frost to shoot in that direction so he can fake left and get in the opening.

She stops her right strike and aims for the area right before the younger Atlantean, but he jumps, pulling out his Water Bearers that form dual maces, causing the eel tattoos on his arms to begin their bright glow. Again, she aims at the teen. Nearly hitting him, until he puts his Water Bearers in the way of the strike. Freezing them and freezing his hands to the handles. He lands barefoot right before her, before completing a strong double uppercut. Shattering the ice around his hands and what made up the maces and knocking the ice villain out. As they do his tattoos return to their normal black coloring.

Aquaman stops a few feet behind him crossing his arms and gaining the teen's attention "Well?"

"Yes, I'm excited." Aqualad admits "Today's the day."

Central City; July 4th; 11:03 CDT

Ice covers the edges of a hole in the wall of a Jewelry Story. In the road, Captain Cold is trapped by the Flash and Kid Flash running circles around the Ice-themed villain.

He attempts to shoot them twice but isn't even close to hitting either of them. His third shot is closer, but he misses the Flash and ends up hitting a car. Freezing it solidly in what it would look like if it had gotten in a car crash and went flying

"Stealing ice? Really? Isn't that a big cliché for even Captain Cold?" Flash asks, still running circles around the villain.

"Come on!" Kid Flash calls out. "We don't have time for this!" with that he slips his red goggles over his malachite green eyes, cutting out of the circle and heading for Cold's turned back

However, his talking gave him away and Cold turns towards the sound of his voice. Cold Gun aimed at the teen

He dodges, some of the ice hitting his shoulder as he turns away from the stream. Then facing back towards Cold, snagging the Cold Gun and knocking the ice off his shoulder as he skids to a stop in the T intersection

Cold growls, clenching his empty hand in frustration, but can't get any farther before Flash hits with a hard cross to the face. Knocking him a good five or six feet to the side, and out for the count. "Calm down, Kid." he says nonchalantly.

"Oh, please!" Kid Flash cries out in annoyance. "You'll chat it up with the cops, with bystanders, with Cold even." he gestures to the now unconscious criminal to prove his point. "No. No way!" he steps up to his mentor, despite the height difference Flash seems to actually be taking him seriously. "Today's the day!" his bright green eyes are glowing with excitement.

Metropolis; July 4th; 12:03 EST

A Ice themed witch ices the entire city only for her to shoot a Ice blast and the one who she's shooting at.

it's Val-el, now wearing a similar outfit as his brother wearing a blue body suit with the same red and yellow S shield, red boots in addition he wears a yellow belt, but one thing that also differs from Superman's uniform is that he isn't wearing trunks over the suit.

"Oh supey brought the brat to do his work?" The villain said while shooting Ice at the Kryptonian who melt the ice with his heat vision.

"He has better thing to waste his time on than with you, Icy" he responds as he rapidly flies towards the Ice Witch knocking her out with a punch in the gut "and on Independence day of all three-hundred and sixty five days" he mutters annoyingly

Val-el puts the witch down before exhale a ice breath trapping her body preventing her from attempting to escape.

He then taps his ear "Superteen to Superman, the villain is captured and out of action" he informs.

"Good work, Superteen you know where to go" Superman's voice is heard from Superteen's comm.

"I do... after all, Today's the day" he replies and with that he proceeds to fly off to where he was originally heading to.
