After their encounter with the Dark Ace and the Cyclonian Talons, Superman and Batman joined the Storm Hawks outside the Condor. The two seasoned Super Heroes took a moment to survey their surroundings. 

Superman: That's a fine ship you've got here. 

Aerrow: Thanks. The Condor's been good to all of us. 

Piper: We've never seen anyone fight like you two before. Where are you from? 

Superman: I'm...not sure how to tell you this, but Batman and I aren't from your world. 

As Superman said this, the Storm Hawks were taken back by this. Finn however was skeptical of this. 

Finn: You two are aliens? Prove it! 

Without hesitation, Superman picks up the Condor with one hand and begins flying in the air. The Storm Hawks were shocked by this. 

Finn: Holy crap! They're the real deal! I told you, Piper! Aliens do exist!

Junko: This is so cool!

Superman: I take it your planet doesn't get a lot of....intergalactic visitors?

Piper: We're barely able to get past the Stratosphere! How did you end up here? 

Superman and Batman then tell the Storm Hawks about the energy signals that had been occurring on Earth and the circumstances that brought them to Atmos. When Superman was describing the area they first arrived in, Piper quickly recognizes the place.

Piper: Wait a minute....that's where we destroyed Master Cyclonis's latest weapon! It must've created some sort of energy vortex that somehow brought you two from your world into ours!

Superman: Then finding the remains of that weapon could be the key to getting back home.

Junko: But how? That weapon got blown up!

Batman: If I can inspect the weapon, then maybe I can find a way to recreate that energy disturbance. 

Superman: But the last time we were there, we had to fight our way through an entire fleet. 

Finn: You two fought an entire fleet?! 

Batman: Superman did the heavy lifting. I provided support wherever I could. 

Finn: Wait a second. Superman can do all these crazy things and you can't?! Are you seriously just some dude in a costume?!

Batman glares at Finn, scaring him as well as Junko. 

Junko: He's really scary. 

Aerrow: We'll be more than happy to help you two find a way back. 

Superman: Any help we can get is much appreciated, Aerrow. 

Batman: Then we should get a move on. We've already drawn enough attention to ourselves as it is. 

Aerrow: He's right. It won't be long before Dark Ace tells Cyclonis about you two. Trust us when we say that you do not want to fight her. 

With that, Superman and Batman joined forces with the Storm Hawks. They soon set out to the site of where Superman and Batman first arrived in Atmos. Once there, they would try to find the remains of the super weapon that Master Cyclonis had built with the hopes of recreating the same energy vortex that brought them to Atmos in the first place. Meanwhile in Terra Cyclonia, the Dark Ace entered the Cyclonian Palace. When he reached the throne room, he knelt to Master Cyclonis.

Master Cyclonis: Report.

Dark Ace: We encountered a group of....strange individuals. They wore armor and used weapons I have never seen before.

Upon hearing this, Master Cyclonis became interested.

Master Cyclonis: Tell me more of these individuals.

Dark Ace: I believe they....came from another world. They appeared to be Human. Then the Storm Hawks arrived and I was forced to retreat.

Dark Ace then shows not only the security footage of Superman and Batman fighting in the Cyclonian Warship, but Dark Ace's encounter with them. Master Cyclonis took a moment to reflect on Dark Ace's words. Dark Ace's report on his encounter with Superman and Batman sparked a great interest within Master Cyclonis.

Master Cyclonis: So it's true. There is life beyond the stars. Beyond the stars lies the opportunity to expand the Cyclonian Empire in ways none of my predecessors thought possible. No longer would we be confided to one singular planet.

In Master Cyclonis's mind, the possibilities were endless. The arrival of Superman and Batman showed Master Cyclonis that there truly was life beyond the stars. For the longest time, it was believed that Atmos was the only planet in the universe that sustained life. But the unexpected arrival of Superman and Batman changed that belief.

Master Cyclonis: Perhaps these...outsiders could be of great value to us. Once upon a time, Cyclonia controlled the entire Atmos. Then along came the Sky Knights, and all that got messed up. Now we have a chance to expand our empire beyond the stars. I want those outsiders and their ship brought to me. Do whatever you must. And if the Storm Hawks get in their way, kill them.

Dark Ace: As you wish, Master Cyclonis.

With that, Dark Ace left the throne room. As Master Cyclonis was left alone, she looked out the window and into the sky. She now knew that beyond the sky was a larger Galaxy. With the arrival of Superman and Batman, Master Cyclonis saw an opportunity to expand the Cyclonian Empire beyond Atmos. She dreamed of an empire that spanned across the stars. She looked to the skies of Atmos, seeing a future in which the Cyclonian Empire would expand far beyond Atmos. 

Master Cyclonis: It will be mine. It will all be mine.....

With that, Master Cyclonis had made the capture of the Normandy and her crew her top priority. In that moment, Master Cyclonis saw an opportunity to expand her Empire beyond her wildest dreams. In order to make that dream a reality, she needed to capture Superman and Batman.
