Andrea was sitting on the sofa at the SKYE, Pondering over their next move. There was a paper on the table, on which jade ought to write what they plan ahead. The doorbell rang, Ren who was sitting close to the door arose and opened the door.

On the door was general with another military man, they entered the room.

Andrea stood up to greet "How are you doing general, apart from the obvious"

"I am fine officer, my partner here," he said indicating to the man who has accompanied him "He is captain Barn" The captain nodded his head in acknowledgment.Andrea nodded back.

"So how is the investigation going on, I hope you have got some leads on the case," the general said in a resigned tone.

"Actually I am sorry to say but, we haven't move any further on the case and have not been able to find any clues," Andrea said apologetically.

"I don't blame you this is a tough one, I just hope you are not thinking of giving up," The general said sympathetically.

"We were just discussing what we are going to do further in the case before you came" Jade butted in determined to say something good.

She quite succeeded, for the general smiled as he asked "And what is that you have decided finally,"

"well- er- we haven't thought anything yet," she said now feeling foolish "But we will decide something, don't you worry"

"Thanks for your efforts Jade, it is quite appreciated," the general said genuinely.

"General, we can't make our move before he does, this all depends upon him," Ren said.

"You are right, he had not attacked for a while now and I have the feeling that he will attack soon"

"Do you have any idea as to where he will attack, which place he might target?" Andrea asked the general.

"I don't know, do you have any clue, is there a pattern in the places he is attacking?" the general asked.

"We were not able to find any connection or a pattern between the attacks, it seems as if he attacks for the fun of it whenever he likes," Ren said.

"You mean the destruction, the havoc it creates is a game for him," The general asked clearly astonished.

"Seems like it," Ren said, he squirmed uncomfortably.

"General, is there anything common about the places he attacked, anything that links them?" Andrea asked the general.

"If you ask me, I am not sure, there is any. Have you found anything"

"Nothing," Andrea said downcast "what happened to you Ren," she asked Ren who was now twitching.

"I have to use the washroom" so saying he stood and went out of the room.

"Well, so it seems that we are back to square one," the general said sighing.

"Well, this is tough. It is easy to catch a thief who thinks and makes plans to do something, who schemes his work to achieve something" Andrea said balefully.

"Truly said, at least their plans can be interpreted and then they can be caught" the general agreed.

"But how to catch a person, who does all this for the fun of it without planning or scheming....." anything Andrea said further was lost, for a thud had from the bathroom had captured their attention.

Ren came back to the room and sat back on his sofa "What? " he asked questioningly as he saw that all were eyeing him.

"Nothing, we heard a sound from the bathroom, are you alright?" Andrea asked concerned.

"I am alright, so what did you decide," he asked them.

"Apparently there isn't much we can do, we can only wait till the person attacks," Jade said haughtily.

"Now- now jade don't be angry," Ren said and Jade looked up at this surprised. Ren never cared for her, he always made fun and sometimes taunted her but, never cared for her.

"Where are my manners, what would you like general, tea or coffee," Ren asked sweetly, this surprised even Andrea but, she didn't show it.

Thinking that there might be something on his mind she played along.

"I will bring some snacks" she started to get up but, Ren stopped her.

"Let me bring it if you don't mind" and without waiting for her answer he marched into the room and came back after some time with three cups of coffee and a plate of snacks.

He took the tray to the general first, who unknowingly took a cup from the edge, as soon as he picked it up he dropped it as Ren slipped sending the cup clattering as it broke and spilling some of the coffee on himself.

"Are you alright general, it's my bad" Ren apologized "come I will show you to the washroom?" Ren said and took the general with him.

They returned. On the general uniform, there was still a visible coffee stain.

"I again am sorry general" Ren apologized.

"I am alright, that was just a mistake, forget it. I think we should leave now" so saying he went to the door and went the captain followed in his wake.

Unknown to anybody, one more shadow snuck out of the room following the general.
