Andrea and the others left behind Kane, they got into the car and made their way to the captain's villa.

It was a long way from their hotel. As the captain was an important person, he lived in a remote area away from the people in the luxury. This became evident as they neared his house, which was surrounded by forest and high trees.

"What a place to live, I wish I could live here too," Jade said as she watched the trees wooshed past her.

"He must be really rich, to afford to live here" Andrea interpreted.

"How rich he is doesn't matter, what matters is that he is a crook who needs to be behind the bars," Ren said.

"Right, we will take him completely by surprise," Jade said.

High in the spirit of catching the captain, they reached his house. Parking the car in front of the door they went to the door and rang the bell.

The door was opened by the captain, who was wearing a blue shirt and black track pants.

"Oh, it's you, how come you are here?" the captain asked as he saw Andrea on the door.

"We want to talk to you about the case, can we come in," Andrea said sweetly.

The captain nodded and opened the door wide, stepping aside he let them in. They all went to the spacious hall and took their seat on the sofa.

"Thanks, for agreeing to talk, as you may know, this is one tough case," Ren said to the captain who has just taken his seat.

"I understand, if you need any help from me you can ask for it," the captain said.

"Thanks, I would like to ask you something?" Andrea asked.

"Surely"

"What do you think about this person, captain" Andrea asked.

"He is a cunning person that we all agree, but what more I think is that he has some inside knowledge about your investigation," the general said.

"What do you mean by that" Jade asked perplexed.

"What I mean is that somebody is giving him information about your investigation or that he knows all about your investigation," the captain said.

"Who do you think, gives him info on our investigation?" Ren asked the captain straight.

"I have suspected somebody for a long time, but it was confirmed recently," the captain said in a hushed voice.

"Oh, really and whom do you suspect," Jade asked slyly.

"you won't believe me, but the person behind all this is known by you," he said his voice was desperate now.

"We do know who the thief is, do we?" Ren said sarcastically.

"Okay, I get it you don't believe me. This leaves me no choice" saying this the general puts his hands into his uniform's back pocket.

Everybody in the room tensed, ready to strike before the general would shoot. The general withdrew his hands and took out something, it wasn't a gun. Everyone sighed in relief.

"This will make you believe me, that you know the person very well," the general said and switched on the recorder he has taken out.

'...think they can catch me, don't even know that I am the one who is behind all this. Let them wait for my attack, I won't attack. They will leave this case then. I can continue my attacks after that, they will be confused. What fools, to be so easily deceived... '

"Wait a minute, that's you isn't it," Jade asked perplexed.

"Good grace, No, I would never dream of harming my own country," The general said shocked at the accusation.

"How, did you get this recording?" Andrea asked.

"I have rigged the general's house with hidden cameras and mikes, that is how I got the recording. Come I will show you" the captain said getting up and going to his bedroom. The others followed behind.

"These are the live feed of the general's house, from the cameras I have installed," the captain said motioning to the screen.

"If this, is a live feed, then I would say that the general really is our man," Ren said taking a look at the camera.

"Well, you are right, it seems like that now " Jade agreed.

"No you didn't understand what I meant, I said that because see the house is burning," Ren said pointing to a part of the screen.

"What!" Andrea exclaimed and looked at the screen "That's not right, Kane! he has gone to the general's home. He might be in danger" Andrea said suddenly remembering about Kane.

"Listen, captain we can't explain to you what's happening now but, we promise to do that later. First, we need to save our friend and catch the general. We will need your help, in doing so" Ren said urgency in his voice.

"Okay, what help do you need" do you have any vehicle that will help us reach the general's house fast.

"you can take my bikes, you go down to the garage, I will go and fetch the keys," the captain said, dashing to fetch the keys.

The others went to the garage, The captain came back with the keys and handed them to Ren.

"Here you go, these are the keys to my bikes"

Ren took the keys and threw one to Andrea, who caught it.

They went to the bike and mounted them, Jade sat behind Andrea. They inserted the keys and gunned the throttle, the captain opened the doors of the garage. As soon as the door was wide open, both the bike speed forward rustling the winds and leaving a trail of dirt behind.

They reached the general's house, which like the captain's was on a lonely stretch of land. This had made it impossible for others to know that there was a fire. If they hadn't seen the fire on the camera, nobody would have come to know about it.

"Do the rich, always have to live alone" jade commented.

"They, like to showoff," Ren said disgusted.

They quickly veered into the front of the burning house, just in time to see somebody limping out the front door who collapsed at the door.
