Bakugou beat Tokoyami effortlessly.  It was as though Bakugou knew Dark Shadow's one weakness from the get go.  Sero managed to immobilize Kirishima by wrapping him from the neck down in tape.  Now It was time for Izuku to face off against Iida.
They both knew that it would be a quick match.  Either Iida shoved Izuku out of bounds immediately or Izuku would win.  They walked up to the edges of the platform, each of them determined to win.  Present Mic was in the commentators' booth raving about the boys' quirks while Eraserhead provided small bits of sanity here and there.
Midnight raised her whip and took a deep breath.  "GO!" She cracked her whip down, and as soon as she did Iida was halfway across the platform.  Izuku inhaled as Iida came closer.

Twenty feet.

Ten.

Five.

One.

"STOP"  Iida paused with his hands outstretched towards Izuku.  "Walk out of bounds." He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding as Midnight cracked her whip once again.
Izuku walked over to Iida to unfreeze him.  "Hey, sorry for the quick finish."
"It's no problem Aizawa.  After all if you hadn't done it, I would have."
"Yeah, I guess you're right Iida."
Now he had to wait again.  He had just one more match in between him and the final one.  If he made it past those two matches then he would place first.  He knew that he would have to show off one for all again. He needed people to see that he wasn't just some one trick pony.
The next set of matches was announced.

Katsuki Bakugou v Hanta Sero

Mashirao Ojiro v Izuku Aizawa

Izuku sat in the waiting room as he waited for the first match to end.  Bakugou won by melting through Sero's tape and blowing him out of the ring with a large explosion.
Izuku's match with Ojiro ended quickly.  The blonde was no match for Izuku even if he didn't use either of his quirks, which he didn't in that match.
Now it was time for Izuku to face Bakugou.
As Izuku found himself in the waiting room once again Bakugou came in.  "Hey Deku, don't you dare hold back. I want you to come at me with everything you got!"
"You've got it," Izuku gave Katsuki a determined smile.  Winning this tournament was crucial to him becoming a hero.
*FLASHBACK*
"There will be talent scouts at the tournament, so if you think this is just another fun thing you kids get to goof off at I promise you will regret it.  This is your chance to impress the pros that you will be working with in your upcoming internships, which you’re all required to participate in. This is your first real chance to make connections with pro heroes."  Mr. Aizawa shot a glare at his class,"Don't mess it up."
*END OF FLASHBACK*
The minutes ticked away and Izuku stood in front of the fighting platform once again, only this time was different.  He knew that Bakugou would be the hardest to fight. Not because he was stronger physically, but because he was more determined to win than anyone Izuku had faced up until that point.
When Midnight's whip signaled the beginning of the final match Bakugou used his explosions to send him flying forward towards Izuku. He had to do it now or Katsuki would have the upper hand in this fight.  "ST-" Bakugou was too close when he sent off his explosion. He was less than a foot away from Izuku's face.
Izuku was sprawled on the edge of the platform just barely in bounds.  Everything hurt. Midnight raised her whip once again and cracked it down.  "Bakugou wi-" Izuku peeled himself off of the cement.
"No he doesn't." Izuku's voice was quieter than a whisper.  'Damn him! I can't use my voice to win this! I have to fight him with one for all!'  He steadied himself and looked Bakugou square in the eyes, then he ran. He ran as fast as he could and used one for all to make him even faster.
Bakugou made the first move by jumping in the air in an attempt to land a right hook.  'Bad move,' Izuku thought as he ducked underheath the flying boy. He stood up and landed a powerful blow to his back, making sure to only use about eight percent of his power as to not hurt him too badly.  This was enough to send the blonde flying across the platform. The crowd gasped. Not only did the green haired boy have the ability to control seemingly everything with his voice, but he was insanely strong too.
Bakugou steadied himself using his explosions and charged once again at his childhood friend.  This time he led with a powerful left swing. He thought for sure it would have caught Izuku off guard, but his fist was caught in the other boy's vice-like grip.  "I won't lose to you Kacchan," Izuku choked out. He winced at the pain his voice brought him. He spun Bakugou around once before throwing him out of bounds.
"AIZAWA WINS!"  Midnight yelled, cracking her whip one last time to signal the end of the final match.
Izuku walked over to the boy that lay on the other side of the arena and offered him a hand.  "Damn Deku, you really didn't hold back." He smiled a little bit at the boy.
Izuku shook his head, not wanting to use his voice.
"Oh um... sorry about that.  Come on nerd, let's go to Recovery Girl."
Recovery Girl did what she did best and healed both of the boys' injuries.  They walked back out onto the arena to accept their medals. Bakugou and Ojiro both smiled proudly, but Iuku stood there with a distant look on his face.  When All Might gave the boys their medals he said a few words to each of them. When it came time to talk to Izuku he seemed to be at a loss for words. Usually the boy would be crying with joy, but he looked disappointed.
"Young Aizawa, I am so proud of you."  He placed the medal around the boy's neck.  Izuku only nodded in response.
