"What's going on?" Supergirl asked after she, Superman and Green Lantern zeta tubed to the Watchtower after receiving a message from Red Tornado, who was on monitor duty at the station, saying there was something they needed to see.

"We just received this urgent message from Argo City." Red Tornado said as he played the message to reveal Zor-El in distress.

"Dad." Supergirl said.

"Come in Justice League. This is Zor-El, Argo City is under attack from Daxamites. The attack was unprovoked and we are outgunned. The city will fall soon, especially if they reach the life support hub. Send help now." Zor-El said as the message cut out.

"Ready the Javelin and contact Flamebird. We're going to Argo to help. Especially since I upgraded our suits to provide us with a limited amount of yellow sun energy to maintain our powers on Argo. And I'm planning on letting the Daxamites know that we're coming firing missiles." Kara said angrily.

"Kara." Clark said.

"I spent years thinking that my biological family was dead, only to get them back. I'm not risking losing them again." Kara said, making it clear it was not up for debate.

"I'm going with you. Maybe bringing in the Green Lantern Corp will help, since this sounds like exactly the kind of thing the Corp was created for, since it's an unprovoked attack." Alex said.

"I was hoping you would. Tornado, I want the Javelin ready to launch within the hour." Kara said.

"I've already begun the preparations. It's nearly fueled and its weapon systems are fully calibrated." Red Tornado assured her.

"Good. I'll send Sam a message that we're coming to pick her up, since she'll want to be a part of this too." Kara said.

"Got it." Alex said.

From the helm of the Daxamite command ship, King Lar-Gand and Queen Rhea watched as their ship continued to fire on Argo City while their troops continued to fight against the citizens.

"I can't believe you authorized this attack against those Kryptonians without any provocation." their daughter and heir, Princess Tea, said and her younger brother Mon-El looked like he agreed with her.

"This is recompense for the destruction of Daxam." Rhea said simply.

"The kryptonians couldn't know that the death of their planet would trigger the deaths of ours. It's not like they did it on purpose." Mon-El argued.

"I wouldn't put it past them. And don't forget the ship we found that led us here. They sent out scouts to find us and terminate what's left of us. We had to launch an attack before they wiped us out." Rhea insisted, right as the ship shuddered as a new ship came out of lightspeed, guns blazing and missiles firing, dealing some serious damage.

"Weapon systems offline." one of the guards reported.

"Get visual on our attacker." Lar Gand ordered.

"Yes sir." the guard said as they brought up an image of a new starship approaching and four people flying out of it.

"One of them's a Green Lantern." Tea said.

"Why would a lantern aid a Kryptonian?" Rhea asked, right as the group burst onto the bridge.

"Anyone who moves gets blasted into space." Green Lantern ordered as the ship's systems quickly sealed the breach as the kryptonians moved to take out all the guards.

"Why am I not surprised to find the no good royal family of Daxam being the ones behind this attack." Kara said angrily, her eyes glowing, taking the Daxamites aback.

"We weren't aware that Kryptonians had developed special powers." Lar Gand said, wondering if they'd made a mistake.

"Only under a yellow sun." Kara snapped.

"King Lar Gand of Daxam, Queen Rhea of Daxam, by the authority of the Green Lantern Corp, you're both under arrest for launching an unprovoked attack on the people of Argo City. And before you try to argue, I've alerted the Corp to this incident and they're on their way here right now." Green Lantern said as she used her ring to put them both in handcuffs.

"Why are you helping these savages?" Rhea demanded as she struggled against her bonds.

"Why wouldn't I? You're the ones who've violated intergalactic law. The people of Argo were minding their own business until you attacked them." Green Lantern responded.

"They're ships out to hunt us down. It wasn't enough for them to destroy our planet with theirs, they had to wipe us out." Rhea said, her delusions clear for even her husband to see.

"Those ships aren't hunting Daxamites. They're scout ships searching for a habitable planet for the people of Argo to resettle on. I know because I used to fly one before I settled on Earth." Sam protested, causing Lar Gand to look at her.

"Those ships weren't searching for Daxamites?" Lar asked.

"No. They're not even armed." Sam said.

"Send the order to our forces to stand down and surrender immediately." Lar Gand said to his children.

"We already did." Mon-El said.

"No. Krypton is a scourge that must be wiped from the galaxy." Rhea snapped, her insanity clear now, right as more members of the Corp arrived, including Tomar Re.

"We came as soon as we heard. We have cells on Oa waiting for both prisoners." Tomar said.

"Thank you Tomar. I'm sure the House of El will be happy to see you again." Alex said, since she knew that Tomar was friends with both the El brothers.

"Even the Green Lantern Corp has been corrupted by the Kryptonian filth. Unfairly penalizing us Daxamites." Rhea said, only to be silenced by Kilowog gagging her with his ring.

"Shut it poozer. If I were you, I'd keep quiet until your trial." Kilowog said.

"You just earned more Rocky Road Ice Cream." Alex said, since she knew the tough drill sergeant had a sweet tooth for Earth food. Especially their desserts.

"I look forward to it. Now I'll take these two poozers to lock up while you all go take a look at the damage done to Argo City. We were happy to learn of that development." Kilowog said and they all nodded.

"We'll go too in order to issue an apology to the people of Argo and make sure all our troops have stood down." Tea said.

"Fine, but after that, you should make yourselves scarce." Sam said coldly.

"And due to the threat Daxamites have proven themselves to be to the surviving Kryptonians, as one of the Green Lanterns of Sector 2814, I'm declaring Daxamites to be banned from my sector without being given prior approval." Alex said.

"We'll respect those boundaries. Especially since this time it's clear that we started the fight and our reputation is likely similar to Thanagar's now. We'll focus on finding a new homeworld and finding a way to make reparations for the damage we've caused here." Tea said, since she was now the acting leader of the Daxamites with her parents in custody.

After checking to make sure her family was okay, Kara, along with the others, began helping with search and rescue for survivors and also helping make sure that all the Daxamites had stood down. And she was very eager to lay some hate on some Daxamites after seeing what they'd done to what was left of her homeworld.

But her anger was lost when she heard a young girl's voice calling for help under a beam and Kara quickly moved to move it to find a 14 year old teenaged girl with black hair and wearing a bright blue dress that had what Kara recognized as the symbol of the House of Ex on her chest.

"Are you okay?" Kara asked as she helped the kid up.

"My family's gone. Killed by Daxamites." the girl said, since she'd watched the Daxamites gun her parents down without a second thought.

"It's okay. You're not alone." Kara said, kneeling down and hugging her.

"You're Kara Zor-El. Supergirl." the girl said when she saw the symbol on Kara's chest.

"Yes I am." Kara confirmed.

"I'm a big fan. I wanted to be a hero just like you. If I was, I could've saved my family." the girl said.

"What's your name?" Kara asked.

"Cora. Cora Til-Ex." Cora said.

"Cora, sometimes you can't save everyone. Even Supergirl can't." Kara said, but she did notice how the girl seemed to calm around her. And it was clear that being on Argo would likely do more harm than good with the anger inside her, combined with the usual emotions teenaged girls had, it was a dangerous combination, though it did bring one option to mind. She just hoped Lena would be okay with it.

"Come with me Cora. I promise, everything will be okay." Kara said as she led Cora back towards the landing site.
