"Recognized: Tigress, B-0-8. Wally West, B-0-4."

I glanced towards the Zeta-tube as Artemis and Wally came walking into the room. Kaldur ended the group training session with Batgirl, Robin, Blue Beetle, Beast Boy, Kid Flash, and Wonder Girl as the couple approached. I was kneeling beside Wolf, a few yards away from the group.

"Welcome back," Kaldur said as the teens walked out of the room. "If I may ask, where exactly did you two disappear to this weekend?"

"We had a little family visit," Wally said.

"We got together with my mom, sisters, my brother-in-law, and niece," Artemis added. I looked up at them, my mind drifting to (y/n). She had left the Team with really no warning or telling anyone where she went. I missed seeing her around. "It was nice to see everyone in one place without a fight going on."

"I'm sure," Kaldur said. "It's good to have you two back."

"Good to be back," Wally replied. He looked at Artemis. "I'm going to run to the kitchen and grab something to eat."

He disappeared from sight almost as soon as Artemis nodded. She chuckled and started out of the room.

"Hey, Artemis," I greeted as she headed for the door.

"Hey, Conner," she said, turning her direction a little to walk towards me. "Hey, Wolf." Wolf looked up at her, gave a small bark as a greeting, then put his head back down. "What's up?"

"Nothing much. I just..." I paused. "How's (y/n) doing?"

Artemis tensed for a moment.

"She's alright. She's with our mom, keeping her company."

I nodded.

"Any idea why she left? It seemed kinda sudden."

I heard Artemis's heart rate increase a little as she clenched her fists.

"She left because of you," she replied, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Me?" I said, stunned. Wolf looked up at us, a little confused.

"Yes you! She's had a crush on you for years and you've never noticed. And the only people who do know are me, Dick, La'gaan, and M'gann. She's kept her feelings locked away because she knew you liked M'gann! Now (y/n) doesn't want to come back for a while because she thinks she needs space to think."

My eyes widened as she walked away. (y/n) liked me? That must be part of the reason M'gann didn't want another chance at our relationship, settling for just friends. She knew that (y/n) liked me and wanted her to be happy. I groaned, running my hair through my hair.

"How could I be so stupid?" I muttered to Wolf. "I should have seen it."

I stood up and walked towards the Zeta-tubes, Wolf following after me.

"Where are you going?"

I turned to look at Kaldur, who was looking at me with a confused expression.

"I'm going to find (y/n). I have something I need to tell her."
