STAR Labs

Tony and the Hulk finally defeated the last of the Parademons and what was left was their corpses spread all across the room. Hulk roared in anger and searched for anything else he can hit.

"Bruce?" Betty asks in shock, causing the Hulk to calm down as he turned to face her.

Tony then left the two of them and came across some sort of portal in the destroyed labs.

"JARVIS?" Tony called out to the AI.

"Unassimilated data detected. Commencing indoctrination." JARVIS starts to download the data he could from where the portal leads, and Tony sees an entire world filled with these creatures carrying creatures and aliens of all sorts. "Translating command: Locate inhabitable worlds. Harvest organic material. Process organic material. Repurpose organic material."

Tony watches in shock as he sees just how these Parademons are made out of other creatures that are transformed into them. Then he looks to see some gigantic rock sitting on a throne in the middle of basically a world of hellfire.

"Command: For Darkseid." JARVIS finished and the portal suddenly shut, and the Mother Box falls and drops down.

"Darkseid?" Tony asks in shock as he picked up the Mother Box.

"Alert, the President's under attack!" Tony picked up on the radios and quickly took off to the skies, leaving the Jolly Green Giant to notice him leaving and jump to follow.

Air Force One

The President and his wife were in the air with Captain America watching over them. As he looked out the window, Steve noticed there were a dozen Parademons approaching.

"We're about to be attacked!" Steve warned them just as the door was ripped off its hinged by a Parademon and sent the guards flying outward. As it made its way down the halls, the other guards shoot at them, trying anything to stop them.

But their bullets do nothing to stop them as they send the guards spying into the wall, just as Captain America comes charging in with his shield raised and smashing them into one another.

As more were coming in, Steve threw his shield, embedding it into one do them and fighting them down as best he could when they were suddenly taken down by a sword, revealing Wonder Woman.

Diana sliced through every single one of them aboard the plane and constantly stabbing the last one.

"Diana." Steve sighed in relief. "Thank goodness you arrived when you did."

"Anything for a fellow warrior." Diana said just as a Parademon approached from behind and Diana threw her lasso around it and tossed it at more of them before they could board the plane.

They seemed to be circling the President, and the warrior raced in and went to save the President, Wonder Woman punching them all and using her strength to rip them apart, sending one of them through a hole in the plane and into a turbine.

The turbine explodes and the whole plane begins to fall, causing Diana and Steve to grab onto the President and his wife. But just then, something stopped them causing the President tripped and fell through a hole in the floor.

"Julian!" Ana, the President's wife, cried out as Diana handed one end of the lasso to Steve.

"Hold this for me." Diana asks as she leaped down to save the President as Steve held the lasso.

Diana dived as fast as she could and grabbed onto the President and Steve yanked the lasso up for the two of them to return.

"Oh, thank goodness!" Ana sighed in relief her husband was all right.

Steve and Diana then made their way up to the cockpit where they're just as confused as to what's going on.

"Are we okay?" Steve asked them.

"We...we should be falling." The co-pilot stated.

"Don't sound ungrateful we're not." The pilot stated as they looked at the cameras and saw it was Iron Man who saved them and was using his suit and repulsers to slow the descent of the plane while fighting off the Parademons.

"Iron Man." The co-pilot sighed in relief.

"You're saying there are others?" Mary asks Charles Xavier as she looked at the brochure for Charles Xavier's school for Gifted Youngsters.

"I thought the school was a private campus." Richard commented as they were both on the couch with Charles in his wheelchair across with Jean choosing to stand.

"Well, it is private...just for different reasons than you're expecting." Jean says jokingly.

"You want to take Kara here?" Mary asks Charles.

"It's a very well educated school and this is a place where Kara can learn to control her powers." Charles explains.

Mary and Richard looked to one another as they know Kara isn't a mutant but doesn't know if it's right to send her off to somewhere she might feel even more different.

"We are aware that your daughter isn't exactly a mutant, but we can still help her and even give her a better education about earth." Jean added, confusing both parents. "Sorry, I'm a telepath. You were both thinking about it, and it just slipped." She apologizes to the two of them.

"Jean here was one of my first few students. Her powers are one of the strongest that I've ever come across." Charles explains to them. "Your daughter would be going somewhere she can freely use her powers, learn their limits, and she is more than free to leave anytime and visit."

Mary and Richard look to one another and guess that it's best if they were to get Kara and Peter in here for this to get their opinion.

"Kara, can you come down here?" Mary called upstairs and the two siblings came down together, Kara holding Peter's hand for support. "Kara, this is Charles Xavier. He runs a school upstate for...people like you."

"Like me?" Kara asks.

"People who are...special." Charles explains and demonstrates his powers. "You didn't think you're the only one with gifts on this planet, did you?"

Kara was seriously confused as to how she heard his voice in her head and looked around the room for the source.

"We're mutants, Kara." Jean explains and uses her powers to raise a few objects around the room. "We would like to offer you a place where we can help you use your powers."

"You have more power than you could imagine, Kara." Charles informed her. "The question is, will you control this power, or let it control you?"

New Jersey

Back with the other four skilled heroes, Batman shot a grapple at a part of a condemned building and yanked it off and crushed up to three Parademons with it.

Meanwhile, Green Lantern comes flying by and creates a flyswatter to crush them whilst Natasha back kicks one of them as they come up behind her.

Clint then raced up to one and pulled an arrow out and leaped off the Parademon and shot the arrow, which has a grapple attached to it and got out of the way as the Parademons all crash into one another.

"Well, that wasn't so hard." Hal said just as an explosion went off and they looked to see another portal opened and now a hundred more Parademons are coming for them.

Hal sighed in annoyance just as one of the Parademons get back up just as it's crushed under the weight of Iron Man.

"Looks like you guys could use a hand." Tony said.

"Tony Stark!" Hal cheered. "Great to see you. Oh, yeah, and that's Batman over there with some Russian chick and a dude with arrows." He gestured to the three of them.

"Hey, Bruce, Natasha, Clint." Tony greeted them casually.

"Tony. Wondering when you'd show up." Clint said as he started picking his arrows out of the corpses, needing to restock.

"Wait, you know each other?" Hal asked in shock.

"Get ready. Here they come." Bruce warned them as the Parademons all come charging at the group.

"For Darkseid!" They all cry out, just as they hear someone else's cry out and turned to see Wonder Woman as she flew in and smashed the ground and started taking the Parademons down like it was nothing.

"Yikes." Clint commented. "Who's she?"

Diana then used her lasso to wrap one up and sent it flying into its comrades before using her sword to cut through them and turning to the others.

"Greetings, Warriors." Diana greeted them, but most of them had a look of shock and fear on their faces.

"Hey, where's capcicle?" Tony asks just as they hear a screech and looked to see a Parademon dropped from a rooftop, followed swiftly by the Star Spangled Man as he used his shield and cushioned his fall.

Steve then raised his shield and tossed it towards the last two Parademons coming at them as the shield returned to him.

"Never mind. Found him." Tony said.

"It's good to be back in the heat of war." Diana stated as the Parademons all come back, but we're immediately met with the Hulk's roar as he came crashing down, causing the ground to quake as he tore through the Parademons as if they were nothing.

"Uh..." Hal was a bit worried when Tony assured them.

"Don't worry, he's with me." Tony told them.

Hulk then grabbed one of the creatures and ripped its head off with his teeth and spat it out while the others run off from the heroes.

"Yeah, you better run!" Hal stated.

"No, they're assembling." Bruce corrected him. "Waiting for whoever's behind this to launch the attack."

"All right, so what do we do?" Clint asks.

"I don't know." Bruce admits.

"Well, it's a good thing someone around here has an idea." Tony told them. "My Artificial Intelligence talked to their tech. I know what they're planning."

"And what's that?" Natasha asks.

"They're terraforming the earth. You thought that this was bad? It's about to get a whole lot worse." Tony informed the team as the Hulk was grunting and looking for something to hit.

"That makes sense." Natasha supposes.

"How do you figure?" Hal asks.

"For starters, the water's on fire." Natasha said as she was currently looking towards the ocean where they all noticed a giant ring of fire and Parademons circling it.

"Huh...not sure how we all missed that!" Clint stated when they watched as something began to crawl through the ring of fire. They all then felt the ground shake as what was coming through the one portal began to reveal to be a tower and several dozen hundreds of them began to form around the world.

The Parker family were also subjugated to the shocking appearance of the towers. The entire family raced out of their home and looked outside to see as the towers shot out a beam.

All of them looked confused...all except Kara.

"Oh, Rou...it can't be..." Kara whispers in fear.

"Kara, what's going on?" Richard asked her just as they watched Parademons approach them and Jean quickly defended the family with her abilities, followed by Kara super speeding over and punching them sky high.

"Kara, what's going on?" Charles asked the young lady.

"If what I think is happening is happening...he's here." Kara whispered in complete and utter fear.

"Who's here?" Mary asked.

"Darkseid." Kara said before taking off onto the skies in seconds.

"Kara!" Mary cried out.

New Jersey

The team of heroes watched as people are being abducted and taken to the water fortress.

"What are they doing to them?" Steve asked with his shield raised.

"Can't be sure." Bruce admitted. "But I know this; they're not killing anyone. Almost as if they're harvesting them."

Natasha was a few feet behind and listening to chatter on the SHIELD frequency. "This isn't an isolated incident. It's happening everywhere. All over the world."

They then watched as someone beamed in across the water along with a dozen more Parademons.

The man they assumed was their leader was wearing an armor similar to that of Wonder Woman, but his skin is what put them all off as they saw he had rocklike skin as he floated towards them.

"I'm guessing that's the bad guy." Clint said in shock and a little hint of fear.

"Lucky guess." Bruce stated.

"He doesn't look that tough." Hal commented.

They then watched as several S.H.I.E.L.D. fighter jets came down and shot him with rockets, but they did nothing. What scared them even more was when this being shot lasers form his eyes and saw him destroy the planes that were BEHIND him.

"You just had to say something." Tony snarled at Hal.

"I am entropy." The being said as he floated down in front of the heroes. "I am death. I am...Darkseid."

Hal then marched forward and raised his fist. "Stand back and peep the light show. Green Lantern's got this." He then created a giant metal fist and flew at the recently named Darkseid and punched him.

But that did nothing as his concentration was destroyed and was followed by a punch from Darkseid, sending Hal flying into a nearby building.

Two Parademons them came down and started randomly punching Hal, but they were stopped by Steve as he tossed his shield at them both.

Then all the Parademons accompanying Darkseid flew in and started attacking.

Clint was the first to react as he shot off two arrows and killed a Parademon with each one. Iron Man then flew off and blasted them with his lasers that were followed up by missiles.

Natasha then began shooting them with her pistols and Widow Bites as Diana leaped into battle and sliced through one of them like paper.

Hulk then let out a mighty roar and charged and rammed through all of the Parademons that came in his path. Bruce leaped and kicked one of them in the face while Hal climbed back to his feet.

"That all you've got?" Hal asked as his ring began to glow. "Not all I've got!" He promised as he flew at Darkseid again, this time using his ring to create a train going at full speed.

But that didn't even move Darkseid or cause him to flinch as it sent Hal flying. Darkseid then turned to use his omega beams on him just as the Hulk comes in and punched him, causing Darkseid to actually feel that hit but not before he could grab Hulk by the throat and toss him down the street.

Hal then gets back up and looks towards Darkseid. "I'm not through with you." He then created a sledgehammer and flew at Darkseid, but that only broke again as Darkseid grabbed his hand and crushed it, causing Hal to cry in pain

Darkseid then tossed Hal aside towards Tony who turned to face him just as a Parademon almost got him but was immediately stopped by Diana who crushed it and flew in to attack Darkseid herself, smacking him in the face with her sword, trying to cut through his armor.

Darkseid then just punched her, causing Tony to take off and quickly caught her and lowered her to the ground.

"Anyone got any bright ideas?" Clint asked them. "Because I've got nothing."

"Now you die." Darkseid declared as he raised his glowing fists and went to go punch the ground but was immediately interrupted by someone flying at the speed of light, shattering all glass windows in the process, coming in and punching Darkseid in the face and sent him flying into the river.

The entire team were completely shocked at what they've just witnessed, or for lack of better words, didn't witness.

"Okay, which one of you did that?" Tony asked as he turned to face the other heroes. "I think we can rule out the bat and agents."

"Really?" Clint asked.

"Whatever it was, let's hope it comes back around." Steve said as they looked and saw Darkseid coming back out of the water.

And let's just say he was pissed!

Darkseid looked towards them with complete anger in his eyes as he shot out his omega beams again. Quickly, two beams of the same kind of energy intercepted and caused them to become seriously confused when they suddenly looked to see where the beams were coming from and were even more shocked when they saw it came from a teenage girl.

"We got rescued by a teenager?" Hal asked in shock.

"Yeah, this isn't gonna look good on my report." Clint confessed before a thought came to mind. "Yet again, I might see Fury laugh for once."

The two beams finally stopped as Kara looked completely afraid of this man. She knew the stories. She saw the dead. The most powerful being in the universe.

The man who murdered the beings of Asgard and murdered the Mad Titan Thanos.

"Return to your world, Darkseid." Kara demanded of him, trying her best to sound intimidating. She was seriously failing.

"Ah, Kryptonian." Darkseid said in amusement. "I thought you all burned with your world."

"You wished." Kara stated as she flew in, but Darkseid was expecting it this time and waited for the right time to use his move and slammed the ground, causing a wave of energy to explode off of him and toss everyone aside and several buildings to crumble.
