Supergirl
Kara flew far off into the sky and followed wherever the crystal was leading her. As she made her way into the middle of the artic, she kept on following its light before it suddenly dimmed in the middle of nowhere.
"What?" Kara cried and smacked the crystal. "Why did you bring me out here?"
Sighing, feeling she's chasing ghosts, Kara dropped the crystal and walked away. But as soon as the crystal hit the ground, it absorbed itself into the ground.
Kara turned back around just to witness it going into the ground. She watched it happen and wondered why it was doing that when cracks formed in the ice.
Kara had the good thought in mind to run away, as an explosion erupted from where the crystal once stood. She ran and was about to take off when the explosion reached her and buried her in the snow.

Peter groaned as he started to wake up from the worst night of his life. His entire body felt sore for no particular reason as he got out of bed and saw a note from his mom laying on his stand.
"Flight leaves in an hour. Get to school, May will pick you up afterward.
Be good! Love you!
=)"
Peter groaned as he climbed out of bed and got to his pants and pulled them up, only to show that they were now small on him.
"What?" Peter asked as he looked down and almost had to double-check to make sure it was indeed his. As if there were anyone else's clothes he would have in his room. "That's weird." He then saw there was nothing he could do about this sudden growth and knew he had a few clothes that were bigger on him before yesterday.
Putting those on, he made his way outside and made his way to school. But on his way there, his head started to buzz, right before the paperboy came past riding on his bike and Peter was able to jump out of the way quick enough.
When Peter was getting back up, his hand then suddenly stuck to the brick fence in front of one of the neighboring houses. Becoming very confused as to what or how this is happening, Peter tried to pull his hands free off of the wall, but they seemed determined to stay there.
"What the heck?" Peter muttered to himself, pulling his hand as hard as he could, only for a chunk of the brick to be ripped off with Peter's fingers and stay there.
Peter looked down at his hand and wondered how this might have happened. This shouldn't be possible. Even at his strongest, that brick should have ripped his arm out rather than him ripping the brick. He was barely able to do the rope in gym class, how was he able to do this?
That's when the pieces of brick suddenly started to slowly slip off his fingertips and cause him to look and see tiny hairs sticking out from the skin.
Something was seriously off.

Kara finally was able to break free of the snow and looked up to see a faint cave, almost like a fortress, had been formed from the crystal.
"Whoa," Kara said as she walked up to the entrance and made her way inside to see the crystal floating on a stand made of ice.
She picked it up and noticed a small part of the ice carved out to fit it. She placed it in and wondered what it did.
"Kara." A familiar voice said, causing Kara to spin as fast as she could to see none other than her mother standing before her. "It's so good to see you."
"I...I don't understand." Kara said as she walked over to her mother. "How are you here?"
"I am an interactive artificial intelligence program, culled from the living memory of Alura Zor-El." Alura did her best to explain it to her.
"I'm...I'm not sure what to think right now," Kara said.
"It just makes me so happy to see you again, Kara," Alura said as she walked over as close as she could and tried her best to caress Kara's cheek.
"What is all of this?" Kara asked as she looked around.
"This is a place that I and your father had prepared for your arrival," Alura explains. "We knew the yellow sun would give you extraordinary abilities, and we built it so that you could discover what you can do."
Kara smiled and saw she at least had a familiar face to help her.
"Over time, I'll be able to help you use this power to their full extent," Alura assured her. "But I also wanna know about your life here."
"I...I don't know where to begin." Kara admitted.
"Start at the beginning," Alura asked her daughter, wishing to hear everything.

Once Peter made it to school, his head started to buzz and hurt even more every time he walked around someone or almost got hit by a flying football or other sporting equipment.
When he reached his locker, he tried to open it and accomplished it without the need for any extra work or anything. That seemed like an upside to Peter as he shrugged it off when Megan approached him and leaned on the locker.
"Hey." Megan greeted him.
Peter looked at her and was happy his head didn't start hurting when she approached him. But then he was starting to wonder what the difference between her, and the other students was. "Hey."
"You good?" Megan asks, feeling some weird mental disturbance when she approached him. That doesn't usually happen unless she was around her uncle.
"Yeah, just have a bit of a headache," Peter assured her as he closed his locker. "What's up?"
"Oh, the Principal wanted to see you about something," Megan remembered what she was looking for him for.

Back with Kara, she started to walk out of the cave wearing a new suit that her mother had shown was created within the cave.
It consisted of a blue shirt with red stitching, a red skirt with a golden strap, tights, and an over-the-knee red boot. It includes the House of El's coat of arms emblazoned on her chest. The symbol that means hope, the potential to see that everyone can be a force for good.
Once she made it outside, she felt the cold breeze and walked forward from the cave to give her some distance for what she was about to do. Alura has informed Kara that she will never know the full strength of her power unless she unleashes it. And that's what she was going to do.
She kneeled and placed her hand on the snowy ground in the shape of a knuckle, focusing as much energy that she could, she felt the gravity shift around her and the snow begin to float before she blasts off into the air.
Finally getting the hang of actually flying through the air, she let out a cheer as she flew over the water and placed her hand against it, causing some of it to splashback in her face. That didn't seem to bother her as she kept on flying, swerving through the mountains of snow and dodging everything in her path like it was nothing.
Flying as far as she could, she made it up to the atmosphere, then basked in the light of the sun.

At the airport, Richard had been given their tickets to confirm their flight to Washington and made their way to the gate for their flight. On their way, a woman noticed them and smiled, knowing the plan is put into action. Taking out her phone, she contacted
"It's done, Mr. Luthor." Mercy Graves reported in with pride in her work.

Peter wonders what Principal Morita wanted from him and went to meet him. Once he reached his office, Peter saw Emma and Sophia were sitting in the chairs in front of his desk. The only thing was that he couldn't actually figure out where he knew them from. He didn't really recognize them, but he swears he knows them from somewhere.
"Peter." Principal Morita was happy to see him. "Come in. Sorry about the abrupt summons, but we have distinguished visitors." Emma then stood up and went to shake Peter's hand. "This is Emma, visiting us from Harvard." Peter was surprised to hear this and shook her hand. "Ms. Frost is a research psychiatrist, working on a grant about scholastic pressures on teenagers. She requested you as a test subject."
"R-really?" Peter asked, still oblivious to who she is.
Emma smiled and then started to use her powers to communicate with Sophia. "Chat? Are you listening? It's Emma." As she was talking using her powers, Sophia stood up and shook Peter's hand. "I'm establishing our mental link. Don't worry...Peter won't know we're in his mind."
"And I'm Sophia Sanduval." Sophia greeted him, acting as if they had never met, and Emma's not in her head right now. "I'm another one of Emma's guinea pigs."
"Hm, it seems he thinks you're adorable," Emma commented using her powers.
"Don't I know you two from somewhere?" Peter asked, feeling he should know them.
"Uh...no?" Sophia said, eyeing Emma to help her out.
"Don't worry about this," Emma told her. "We have never met before." She told Peter with a small smile. "I'm blocking his memories of us. It's as easy as it was to convince the principal that I'm from Harvard."
"I'll leave you to it, then. Call me if you need anything." The principal says on his way out.
With that, he left the three of them alone to talk.
"So, Peter, tell me a little about yourself," Emma asked of Peter, wanting to know a bit more about him. Keeping his mind, a little blocked to realize her slip up knowing his name.

Back on the airplane, Richard and Mary were getting ready for takeoff. Richard noticed that Mary was looking a bit blue and remembered how much she hated flying.
Richard placed a comforting hand on hers and smiled. "It'll be okay. You know-"
"If you tell me flying is statically the safest way to travel, I will smack you," Mary warned her husband. "It was cute on our first trip, but after twenty years, it's a bit old."
"Right. Sorry." Richard apologizes and focuses on comforting her without talking.
They then took off and the plane started to slowly rise off of the ground to make its way to Washington. Mary was able to calm down with the help from her husband and sighed as the plane reached cruising altitude.
But that's when the unthinkable happened. The bomb went off, taking the engine out and causing it to start to fall from the sky.

After her flight, Kara returned to her fortress with a smile on her face as she faced her holographic mother.
"The cape aids with aerodynamics!" Kara said in amazement. "Why didn't I think of that?"
Alura smiled and was happy at how she was able to help her daughter. "Your powers are beyond anything that we ever hoped they would be, Kara."
Kara smiled at her mother when she started to hear the shockwave that was caused by the bomb and wondered what happened. Focusing her hearing to where the shockwave came from, she heard screams and cries of panic. Then she heard them...
"Richard!"
"It'll be okay, Mary. Just breath. Stay with me."
Kara instantly reacted as she blasted off out of the cave and into the sky like a speeding bullet leaving the gun. She flew as fast as she could, breaking the sound barrier with her speed as she raced through the sky and came across the crashing plane.
Flying to the plane as fast as she could, she grabbed onto the wing to try and figure out what to do next. As she was thinking, she got an idea and tried to get underneath the plane.
Once underneath it, she used all of her might and strength to stop the descent of the plane into the ground and started to slowly lower it. Screaming from the strength she could muster to place the plane on the ground.
Once then, all of the people on the plane looked to watch as Kara flew out from underneath the plane to see through the ship.
Once she looked and saw that Richard and Mary were okay, she sighed in relief to see that she was able to save them. She lost one family but was able to save her new family with these powers.
She felt...powerful. She saved these people. But that's when she realized she might wanna get out of here when they started to pull out their phones and record her.
Blasting off into the sky, Kara felt proud of what she had done. Maybe this is why she was sent here. To use her powers to protect people like just now.
