BREAK DAY 1 PART 2
Luigi's POV

After everyone finally settled on their rooms, everything was normal. Everyone was happy, nobody was fighting... This is nice. I like this. It's a shame it has to end soon...

Mario: Yeah, if only the whole school year was like this!

Luigi: W-Wait, WHAT!?

Mario: What's wrong?

Luigi: Did you just read my mind?

Mario: Well, whatever you were thinking, you said the "This is nice. I like this. It's a shame it has to end soon." part out loud.

Luigi: R-Really? Oh.. heh, sorry...

Mario: Anyway, let's do what we came here to do.

Luigi: A-Already?

Mario: Yeah, time flies, and before you know it, it'll be way ahead of you. C'mon, let's-a go!

Luigi: Okay, okay! ... You sounded wise when you said that...

Mario: Thanks, now c'mon!

Mario grabs my hand and we both walk out the door. As soon as we step outside, Mario shoves me forward and dives away from me.

Mario: WATCH OUT, LUIGI!!!

Then, a water balloon hit my right on the head. I look up to see Yoshi with a bucket of water balloons beside him.

Yoshi: Heh, got ya!

Luigi: Grrr... *!* Hey, Yoshi, I know you won't do it again!

Yoshi: Why wouldn't I?

Luigi: C'mon, do it! Unless you're too wimpy to throw water balloons!

Yoshi: What!? I am NOT!!!

He throws another water balloon. This time I catch it and throw it right at his face. It hits him, and he sputters water out from his mouth.

Luigi: Hey Yoshi... You do know that water conducts electricity, right?

I spark my hands for emphasis.

Yoshi stares for a moment.

Yoshi: ... Y-You wouldn't dare!

Luigi: Oh yeah? Throw another one and find out!

I spark my hands again, making the effect even larger.

Yoshi: NUH-UH! I AM OUTTA HERE!!!

Yoshi flutter jumps away.

Mario: ... You weren't gonna actually shock him... Were you?

Luigi: No... Probably not, anyway.

Mario: U-Um... Let's go test our powers out!

Luigi: Y-Yeah!

We head outside, and go in the forest, following the trail until we get to the other side. It only took about 15 minutes, and the walk was very scenic along the way. I texted Bowser.

L: Hey Bowser?

B: Yeah?

L: Mario and I left to go test you-know-what at the other side of the forest. Tell the others we're gone, but don't tell them where we are. K?

B: Sure.

L: K, thanks!

After I texted him, I caught up with Mario.

Mario: Ready to test 'em out?

Luigi: Yeah, I guess.

Mario: Cool! So, what did you do last time? Other than losing your cool?

Luigi: Well, my Thunderhand was charging for a while... After that, I just released it all in one big burst.

Mario: Think you could do it again?

Luigi: M-Maybe...

Mario steps away to the edge of the forest.

Luigi: When I did it before... It went throughout the whole school... I'm just gonna get far away.

Mario: Good point...

I walk a good amount of yards away and stopped.

Luigi: This should be far enough... I hope...

Suddenly, my phone vibrates. Mario's probably did too, because he checked his phone. I check mine too. It was our group chat we created.

Lavanne: Where are you guys????

Rosalina: You kinda left without telling us...

Mario: We're doing something....... Important.

Luigi: Ask Bowser.

Bowser: Yeah, they told me already.

Yoshi: What? And why not anyone else???

Mario: We forgot!!!!

Luigi: Look, we'll be back soon, don't worry.

Lavanne: But...

Mario: Ah-ah-ah! We'll be fine... Bye!

Luigi: See you guys.

I turn my phone off and put it back in my pocket. Mario gives me a thumbs up. I take a deep breath.

I start charging my Thunderhand. Nothing much at first. But after a while, I got to the point where I'd release it, but I kept charging. My hands started to feel tingly as I kept on. I charged for even longer. The tingly feeling started spreading to my arms and shoulders. I realized that the sparks were spreading too. I kept charging. The feeling and sparks spread to my body. The tingling got even stronger. Despite all that, I kept on charging and charging. The sparks soon spread all throughout my whole body, the tingling soon following. I kept on charging. The tingling soon started to turn into pain. Bearable at first, but soon became more and more excruciating. When I couldn't take anymore, I cried out and then I let it out.

A big burst of lightning spread out in the form of a sphere, singeing the grass and plants around me. After what seemed like a minute or two, the lightning faded away. Mario stared in awe.

Mario: That. Was. AMAZING!

I blush. I then see Mario pull his phone out of his pocket. I take mine out too. As soon as I touched it, sparks flew around it and my hands for a second, and it turned back on. I saw 57 notifications in our group chat. Most of them were basically "WHAT WAS THAT!?" "DID YOU SEE!?" "WHAT HAPPENED?". They were all from Yoshi and Lavanne, and The rest of us had to calm them down. I then put my phone away again and walked over to Mario, his mouth still agape.

I tried to spark my hands, but couldn't. I suddenly felt really fatigued. My head was spinning, and I kept on stumbling. I soon fainted.

I woke up to hot and painful sensations on my face. I woke up to see Mario poking me with his Firebrand.

Luigi: Okay, I'm AWAKE! Stop it!

Mario: Phew, you're okay... I think you drained your energy when you did that. At least you're still fine! It was still AWESOME! My turn!

Luigi: Really? After what happened to me?

Mario: Well, just wake me up if I do faint. be ready to use F.L.U.D.D, Okay?

Luigi: A-Alright...

I take F.L.U.D.D and put him on my back.

Mario walks out to where I was when I used my power. He begins to charge without any hesitation at all.

After a minute or so, I see the flames spread throughout his body as well. He begins to wince. The pain was setting in. Not long after, he cries out and lets out a huge burst of flame, spherical like mine. After a while, the light faded and there was a big circle of fire the burst left behind. He runs to me, not noticing this, screaming "I DID IT!" over and over. What I didn't think would happen, was that wherever he ran, the Fire seemed to part and let him pass.

After he reached me, I used FLUDD to put the remaining fire out. Not long after, Mario shouted.

Mario: THIS IS SO COOL!!!

Luigi: Yeah, I know! But when you were running through, the fire seemed to part for you!

Mario: It did the same for you!

Luigi: Interesting...

Then our phones started vibrating nonstop. We check them to see that Lavanne and Yoshi were freaking out again.

Mario: I guess they're just excited to see my power!

He tries to make a flame but failed. Soon after, he fainted.

I managed to make a spark big enough to wake him up, despite my energy drain.

After, we lean against a tree.

Mario: Phew... It really does drain your energy...

Luigi: I told you... But it only seems to happen if we try to do use our powers again right after...

Mario: We should go back, Yoshi and Lavanne are SCREAMING...

Luigi: Yeah... Let's go. We can test our powers again tomorrow or after we get a good rest.

Mario: Yeah...

We walk back to the house on the trail. When we get there, Lavanne and Yoshi were arguing with Rosalina and Bowser. But Bowser and Rosalina weren't yelling, or even talking back. Bowser had his arms crossed, and Rosalina just stared at them, neither of the two fazed.

Mario: What happened here?

Yoshi/Lavanne: WHERE WERE YOU GUYS!? WHAT WERE YOU EVEN DOING?!?

Yoshi: Wait... The FLUDD and Poltergust? What happened?

Luigi: Well, we did some testing-

Mario: WE CAN CREATE HUGE BLASTS WITH OUR POWERS!!!!!!!

Lavanne: That's what that was?

Yoshi: Geez...

Luigi: I dare you to throw another water balloon, Yoshi!

Yoshi: N-No thanks...

I couldn't help but smile.

Bowser: Well, I thought we could camp out tonight! Who wants to come?

Luigi: Okay!

Mario: Sure!

Rosalina: Sounds like fun!

Yoshi: Why would we camp outside?

Lavanne: Especially since we can be cozy inside?

Luigi: Your loss. Just hope it isn't haunted..!

Lavanne: Psssh, yeah, right...

They both go inside. Mario and I switch off our gear back to each other.

Luigi: You all go on ahead, I just need to do something first!

Bowser: Alright, let's go, guys!

Mario walks with them but turns back and smiles smugly at me. I smile back.
