"Man, that was a great training day" Ken exclaimed.

"You said it" Red agreed.

"Hey, who's that guy Mr. Sakurai is talking to?" Cloud pointed out.

The three made their way towards the table Mr. Sakurai was sat at. The person in question was an unfamiliar face. He was quite muscular, sporting a red jacket with ripped sleeves and blue jeans. He had a red cap on top of his long blonde hair tied to a ponytail. Sakurai noticed the three of them and smiled.

"Hello everyone, I'd like you to meet our new member" He introduced.

"Hi, my name is Terry" The man greeted.

"Hey there, you look pretty strong" Ken commented.

"Thanks, I cannot wait to spar with all of you, I really enjoy fighting" Terry exclaimed.

"Well then, we'll see you in the training grounds next time" Cloud said, leaving with the rest.

"Try not to beat them up too badly" Sakurai told him.

"Hey, I can't make promises" Terry replied.

The Next Day

Most of the fighters and anyone that lived with them were currently at the Training Grounds to see what this new fighter has in store for everyone. The only information that they were given was that Mr. Sakurai really likes this guy and someone near and dear to his heart. Not only that, but Terry has also been talking some big things, stating that he had some interesting techniques to show. This got many people's attention since the last newcomer was quite underwhelming to say the least.

"You ready guys?" Terry called out.

"Ready" Richter, Snake and Roy all replied.

To show off his moves, Terry requested that he go up against three opponents at once. During the battle, he was shown to be quite the martial artist, knowing many different kicks, and having some form of energy attacks. It didn't seem like much to the crowd as he fought similarly to Ryu and Ken. However, after taking multiple hits, Terry struck a smirk and cracked his knuckles. Running up to Richter, he gave him a short uppercut before making his next move.

"POWER GEYSER!!!!" He yelled.

Punching the ground, a large diagonal pillar of energy shot out from the ground where his fist collided, sending Richter up into the air. People in the crowd did not expect that and they probably understood what Terry meant by his techniques. Later, the fight started to move towards Terry's side as he had the upper hand.

"Are you okay?" Terry questioned as he shot forward in a quick move in front of Roy. "BUSTA WOLF!!!"

Terry managed to grab Roy and punched the air in front of him which caused a large explosion to happen. This took Roy of guard, and he was plummeted into a wall behind him. Snake didn't know what to do and tried to stay clear from him. That didn't work out as Terry managed to rush through and beat him. After the three were taken to the infirmary, everyone in the crowd was shocked at the power he had. Ryu decided that he would be the one to ask.

"Hey Terry, if you don't mind me asking, what was that that you did there?" Ryu asked.

"Well, I have this thing called Desperation Moves or Go Meter" Terry explained, "Basically, when I have taken enough damage, I can utilise stronger moves when I'm in a pinch"

"I see" Ryu replied.

"However, I only have two and they can be a bit difficult to get it right consistently" Terry added.

"I will say, you are quite the challenging fighter" Ryu commented.

"What can I say, fighting is what I live for" Terry laughed, walking off.

And that statement Ryu made couldn't be any truer. Over the course of his arrival, he has proven time and time again that he is a formidable fighter. Showing that he can beat his opponents by himself and take them down when the odds are against him. Mr. Sakurai sat at his office, smiling at how a character that was a part of his childhood is doing very well. He may have been forgotten by most people, but now, he has made a name for himself.
