For old times sake...

—Summer—

It was summer and it was incredibly hot.
Dark Pit flew onto the highest tree branch.
'This looks like a good spot...'
He thought before resting his eyes.
You spotted the dark winged angel and strolled over to him.
He seemed to be napping.

You started climbing the tree, after a while you manage to reach the branch that Dark Pit was sitting on and you joined him.

Dark Pit opened one eye "go away"
"But I just got here! It's hard climbing trees when you don't have any wings you know!"
"Go away"

You sighed and started descending.

Your misstepped and fell.

Dark Pit's eyes flew open and immediately flew after you.

He caught you just before you could come in contact with the ground.

He blushed at the contact with your body "next time...just ask me to bring you down okay?"
You nodded.

After that you would climb trees with Dark Pit and he would chuckle as you try to reach for a higher branch before helping you up.

The two of you didn't hang out publicly because Dark Pit said "it would ruin my image" which hurt you a little.

You and Dark Pit sat on a branch and watched the sunset.
He said "hey (y/n)"
"Yeah?" You replied.
"This sunset is kinda pretty isn't it?"
"Yes it is, you know; dust makes the sunset even prettier"
"Hmmm? I knew that, did you know that there was something called diamond dust?"
"Oh really? It sounds pretty cool, can you take me somewhere where I can see them?"
He blushed and scratched his cheek.
"Sure, I don't see why not..."

—Autumn—

It was Autumn and it was starting to get chilly.
You and Dark Pit hung out in his room playing indoor card games and he won all the time. All the freaking time.
The two of you started to hang out in public places now that the two of you became closer.
The cafe was the ideal place to talk; who couldn't resist the idea of talking in a warm place with some coffee and sweets?
Turns out Dark Pit is a total sweet tooth.

—Winter—

It was Winter and it was crazy cold.

(Based on a lot of people who experienced winter)

You and Dark Pit would bury yourselves under blankets in front of the heater.
Hot chocolate was the ideal drink for this weather.
You and Dark Pit fought over marshmallows countless of times.
Dark Pit helped you with your scarf before dragging you outside.
You gasped and stared as this 'diamond dust' fell from the sky.

It was beautiful.

"Whatcha think?" He asked.
"It's amazing!"
"Good, now we can get out of here and go back inside, my wings are freezing"
"What? We just got here!"
"Joke, I'll give you a few more minutes"

—Spring—

It was Spring and flowers started blooming.

You and Dark Pit went sakura viewing.

(Fun fact (not), my birthday is on the day when the sakuras bloom)

You had a picnic under a tree and drank soft drinks while playing video games.

Dark Pit gritted his teeth and bit his thumbnail. Why did you keep winning? All the freaking time!

You smirked and a spark of electricity zapped between you two.

Dark Pit pinched your cheeks while you pulled his ear.

Your affections must've been growing for him because you blushed when he grabbed your hand to take a picture.
It must've just been the spring air.

—Summer—

Dark Pit took you back to the tree where the two of you first met before confessing.
You teased him about how some of the spring air was still stuck in his lungs before accepting.

The two of you shared a kiss before climbing the tree again.

Huh...just writing this...maybe I'll take Dark Pit back as one of my baes...
Takumi: what did you mutter?
Me: or not...

It's a fact that if you spend a lot of time with a person you're bound to grow feelings for them. Even if just working next to each other.
I did research. (By research I mean watching Game Theory.)
