Howdy!

This was another long-waited request from Pyratea

READ ON!!! 

"Oh come ON, (Y/N)! You said you'd tell us when Pride Month comes along!" Daisy whined. "In fact, you did! That was 2 weeks ago! Come one, I'm curious!!!" Roy pleaded. "I already told you, you'd laugh if I told you!" I growled. 

Indeed, my best friends like to annoy me. But I guess that's just the typicality of having friends. 

"It can't be that bad, can it?" Pit asked. "I mean, I used to be part of the Captain N series-" "don't mention that name." Mega Man cut him off. "But seriously, (Y/N), it's not like we're invading your privacy or anything!" Dark Pit said indignantly. 

I gave him a look. He seriously didn't think he was trying to badger me in to telling my private love-life? 

"I respect your privacy, (Y/N)." Link said. "Thank you, Link! See, the fairy boy understands!" 

"But the Angel doesn't!" Pit chirped. I face-palmed. "And you never will, cuz I'm not telling you"

"(Y/N)!!! We'll help you become one with your crush!!!" Daisy grabbed on to my wrist. "We will! We promise!" Roy went down on to his knees. "We won't judge you, either." Dark Pit smiled. 

I sighed defeatedly. They were my best friends, I would eventually have to tell them. 

"Fine. But only if you promise to respect my opinion." I compromised. "We would never disrespect an opinion from you." Mega Man said, sitting down beside Roy to listen carefully. 

"Alright..." I began. Everyone leant in closer, and that included Link. "I like... Pyra Prominence. That DLC that came before Kaz." 

Everyone gasped dramatically. I winced, expecting them to start attacking me with homophobic comments. 

"That's AMAZING, (Y/N)!!!" Daisy cheered. "Pyra? As in Pyra and Mythra? That's SO cool!!!" Pit exclaimed. "I've always wanted to have a friend that likes someone of their own gender." Link beamed. 

"You should confess!" Roy told me. "Ahem, Roy, do you even KNOW how hard confessing your feelings to someone is?" I asked. "It can't be that bad!" He replied. "Well then try and confess to Daisy. Right here, right now." 

There were a few moments of silence. 

"You've made your point." Roy huffed, crossing his arms and blushing. 

"Um... anyhoo... we'll support you throughout your path to confessing, (Y/N)." Dark Pit said, more cheerful than usual. "Thanks, Dark..." 

"I don't know a lot about this sort of stuff, but the only piece of advice I have is to be yourself." Mega Man smiled. 

"Looks like someone's been using Google lately." Link teased. "It's just a useful thing to have, okay? Instead of CALCULATING everything..." Mega Man complained. 

"That's some really nice advice, Mega Man. Thank you. But the only thing I'm worried about is confessing, and not even to get friendzoned, but just full-on rejected. As in, she doesn't even wanna be friends!" I looked down at the floor sadly. 

"What? That won't happen!" Pit told me reassuringly, taking my left hand in his. "How would you know?" I asked him. 

"The other day Mythra was fighting with Rex. I heard snippets of the quarrel, like; "let Pyra do what she wants" and "stop judging her for her sexuality"." Everyone looked at Pit, one eyebrow raised. "Did you really hear that?" Daisy asked him. "Yes! I would never lie!" Pit replied. 

"What about that time you told Lady Palutena that you were gone to get groceries, but it was really because you wanted to try Monster?" Link smirked. Mega Man laughed. "She tells me so many things are bad for me! She would KILL me if she found out I was drinking that stuff! Besides, floor ice cream gives you health, but Lady Palutena doesn't agree!" 

"Alright, alright, enough!" Dark Pit snapped. "The point of this conversation is (Y/N) liking Pyra, not Pit-stain overdosing on caffeine!" 

"Dark's right." Roy said. "(Y/N), let's make a plan on how you can confess to Pyra." 

I beamed. I'm honestly extremely lucky to have friends like these. "Thanks, everyone." I thanked. We got in for a group hug. 

"Ack-! I'm squished!" Mega Man yelped, because he was indeed squished in the middle of 6 people 3 times the size of him (Oh SnAp). Everyone laughed, and set the poor boy free. 

~(Switch to Narrator POV)~

For the next three days, the small group of friends prepared for (Y/N)'s confession. Pit taught (Y/N) how to be affectionate, loving and cute, Daisy lent her cute clothes, Link wrote the letter that (Y/N) was gonna push underneath Pyra's door (since he had the best handwriting lmao), Roy found the perfect spot for (Y/N) to confess, Mega Man picked out a gorgeous flower for (Y/N) to give to Pyra, and Dark Pit gave (Y/N) a bunch of pick-up lines to make Pyra feel extra-special. 

Setting everything up went great. (Y/N) thanked her friends non-stop. When the day of the confession came, (Y/N) felt pretty confident. 

"Alright, let's go through the plan again." Roy announced. "First, (Y/N) pushes the letter underneath Pyra's door, telling her to meet her out on the grounds, where (Y/N) leads her to the confession spot. We left the flower lying on the hill, so (Y/N) pretends it wasn't put there purposely and gives it to Pyra. Then before the actual confession, (Y/N) uses some pick-up lines and cuteness, to get Pyra flustered, and then, finally, she tells her how she feels." 

Everyone cheered. They thought their plan was absolutely GENIUS, even though, it probably wasn't the best of confession plans- 

"Good luck, (Y/N)!" Daisy pushed the letter in to (Y/N)'s hand, and stood back in her place and linked arms with Roy. "Thank you, guys. This was a huge help." (Y/N) smiled.

Everyone watched carefully as (Y/N) walked up to Pyra's door. Slowly, she pushed it underneath the door. 

She waited outside for Pyra's appearance patiently. Then, as expected, she emerged from the big entry doors of the Smash Mansion. (Y/N) blushed as soon as she saw her. 

"(Y/N)! Hi!" Pyra beamed. "Hi, Pyra!" 

"So, you said you wanted to go for a walk?" Pyra asked. "Yes! Here, follow me!" 

(Y/N) took Pyra's wrist, and started heading towards the small hill Roy spotted. She didn't notice Pyra blushing. 

"Look at this, Pyra! I found it the other day!" (Y/N) exclaimed, pointing at the hill that Roy found. "Wow... I wonder what the view is like!" 

Hand in hand, they walked up the hill, only to see the best view of the Indie Horror village next door. 

"Wow... this view is amazing!" Pyra awed. "Yeah, just like you." (Y/N) smiled. Pyra looked from (Y/N) to back to the view, blushing. 

(Y/N) spotted Mega Man's flower, and picked it up. "Yo, Pyra, look at how pretty this flower is!" She said. 

Pyra looked down at the beautiful flower. "Oh wow, that really is pretty!" "Do you wanna have it?" (Y/N) asked, holding it out for Pyra to take. 

Pyra's face lit up. "O-okay! Th-thanks!" Pyra took the flower, and stared at it lovingly. She would treasure it always.

(Y/N) looked down at her lap. She didn't know what to say. Should she just get straight to the confession? No! It was too early. 

All of a sudden, the night came (WhEn We'Re DaNcInG, tHe NiGhT bEgInS tO sHiNe~). Stars, or Lumas, either or, filled up the sky. Pyra stared in awe. 

Then, (Y/N) thought of a good pick up line. 

"Hey, Pyra!" She said. "Y'see that star?" "You mean, the stars? As in the plural?" Pyra giggled. "Yeah! Well... that's what you are to me." 

(Y/N) smiled, making Pyra once again go red. "Hehe... th-thanks!" 

There were a few moments of silence, before Pyra broke it quite suddenly. 

"(Y-Y/N)! I... I have something to tell you!" 

(Y/N) stood up, and took both of Pyra's hands in hers. "So do I." 

Pyra's eyes shone. It was beautiful. "How about, I count to three, and we both say what we wanna tell each other." 

(Y/N) slowly counted to three. "1....2....3" 

"I LOVE YOU!!!" 

They had both said the same thing. 

They both went in to a fit of giggles from how coincidental it was. 

Pyra gave (Y/N) a hug. (Y/N) gave her a kiss in the cheek. 

"I really do love you, Pyra." She whispered. "Me too, (Y/N)." 

"Woof!" 

M o o d  r u i n e d 

"Geez, Rock! I told you NOT to bring Rush!" Someone hissed. "He wanted to come, okay?" 

(Y/N) rolled her eyes, knowing it was her friends. 

Quick as a flash, Pyra gave (Y/N) a kiss on the lips. 

"IhaveabattleinthemorningsoI'llseeyoutomorrow,okay?" She said, before running off. 

(Y/N) giggled to herself. "Oh, Pyra..."
