Luigi, meanwhile, had watched the encounter, and saw Sheik go flying to the floor. He knew that if he would go one on one with Waluigi right now, he wouldn't be able to go a full minute with him. But he had an idea. He turned to Shadow, who was finishing off the last of Eggman's Shadow Androids.
"Shadow! Give me the Chaos Emeralds!" Luigi shouted.
"Wait, what?" Shadow asked in surprise.
"Give me the Chaos Emeralds!" Luigi repeated.
"But you've never used the before! Besides, how do you know if you have a super form like Sonic and I?"
"I don't, just trust me!" Luigi ordered. Shadow shrugged and shook his head.
"Okay, just be careful!" Shadow warned. He handed the seven glowing emeralds to Luigi. He let the seven spin around him. Luigi could feel their power. Luigi closed his eyes, continuing to let the Chaos Emeralds spin around him. With a flash of energy, Shadow saw that Luigi indeed had a super form. His hat and shirt were now yellow, similar to Sonic when he used his. His overalls were now white. He had a cape, as if he had a cape feather. He went to Waluigi. Waluigi had seen this, and he wasn't impressed.
"I thought you were smart, Luigi. Do you really think your little Chaos Emeralds will stop me?" Waluigi asked, flashing the Power Glove, with the newly added Time Stone. Luigi smirked.
"No... but it doesn't hurt to try," Luigi said.
"So you wish to die, along with all your pathetic friends? So be it."
"If it saves the world. Bring it, Waluigi!" Luigi shouted, getting into a fighting stance. Waluigi smiles, flashing his Power Glove. He quickly shot blasts at Luigi, who used speed to dodge. He ran toward Waluigi, throwing a couple punches at his rival. Waluigi swiftly dodged the strikes, before launching Luigi with a swift punch, sending Luigi into the wall. Luigi winced, and got to his feet.
"Heh, you used to never hit that hard. Looks like that Power Stone has done you some good," Luigi smirked.
"Even without the Power Stone, I would still destroy you, as I am right now," Waluigi replied coldly.
"I'm not dead yet!" Luigi laughed. He quickly ran up to Waluigi continuing to throw punches at Waluigi. Waluigi continued to dodge, only his swift counter attacks were being dodged by Luigi. Waluigi then began to fire beams from the Mind Stone. Luigi zipped around the beams, before punching Waluigi in the face. Waluigi spiraled to the ground. Waluigi got to his feet, clutching his jaw. He suddenly realized he felt something he hadn't since his quest started; pain. There wasn't a lot, but the sting from Luigi's punch lingered.
"Hmph, perhaps I underestimated you slightly...," Waluigi said, rising to his feet.
"More than slightly," Luigi replied. Waluigi looked up in anger and charged at Luigi. He sent a punch to Luigi's stomach. Luigi was sent back, but not for long, as he responded with another strike to Waluigi's jawline. Waluigi answered the attack with a knee strike back to Luigi's stomach, to which Luigi gave a kick flip right under Waluigi's chin.
The two rivals began to exchange blows all around the throne room, battling around Shadow, the fallen Sheik, and the countless destroyed robots all over the ground. After a variety of punches, kicks, and strikes with elbows and knees, the two connected with kicks, forming an x from the two's let's. Once the two disconnected, the two jumped back. Waluigi clutched his rubs. Luigi fell to one knee. They were completely exhausted.
"Phew! This has been great!" Luigi huffed, as he slowly rose to his feet. Waluigi looked at Luigi in anger.
"Do you think I'm a joke? I have spent months trying to find these Power Stones, and I will not be humiliated by a fool like you," Waluigi seethed.
"I think you're too late. The fact that I've survived this long is proof that your little Power Glove isn't everything it's cooked up to be," Luigi taunted, rising into the air.
"I'm done playing games with you Luigi! I'll kill you, then your precious friend Zelda!" Waluigi growled, charging up the Power Glove. Luigi stopped. He thought if Zelda, how helpless she looked when she was being choked by Waluigi. How helpless she looked, laying there in the sick bay. He clenched his fists. He gritted his teeth.
"That's it. You've asked for it!" Luigi yelled in anger, pulling out his hammer. He charged at Waluigi. Waluigi quickly fired a blast from the Power Glove. Luigi powered through the blast. Waluigi raised an eyebrow, before firing another blast. Luigi shook off the blast, continuing to head for his rival.
"What?" Waluigi responded in surprise. He continued firing blasts. Luigi shrugged of the blows. Waluigi, now in a panic, powered up the Power Glove to it's fullest energy, firing a full blast at Luigi. He smiled, only to see Luigi getting close, his hammer poised to strike. Waluigi knew that he couldn't charge up anymore.
"THIS IS FOR ZELDA!" Luigi cried, bringing the hammer down on top of Waluigi. Waluigi was sent spiraling to the ground on his back. He tried to get up, but fell. He was beaten.
Luigi looked on, making sure Waluigi was beaten. He then walked up to his beaten opponent. What he saw next confused him: Waluigi was laughing.
"Wah ha ha... This isn't over, Luigi...," Waluigi coughed, while laughing.
"On the contrary. I'm still standing and you're on your back. You're finished," Luigi spoke boldly, though on the inside, he wasn't one hundred percent sure what Waluigi was getting at.
"You're dumber than you look... you fool... I've already won!" Waluigi croaked, continuing to laugh. Shadow looked on at Luigi, not sure why Luigi wasn't dealing the finishing blow. Meanwhile, Waluigi weakly lifted up his right hand, with the Power Glove. He put his middle finger and thumb together, as if to snap. Shadow suddenly remembered something from his research.
"Don't do it!" Shadow cried in vain. But he was far too late.
