The gang continued onwards through Wumpa Island, with the ruins coming after the scuffle with Ripper Roo. 

Fluttershy: That poor poor kangaroo. 

She was tearing up at him. 

(Y/N): I'm sorry, I know it must be hard to look at what became of him concerning the circumstances of his condition. 

Then Crash hugged her. 

Fluttershy: Thank you, Crash. I needed that. 

Ruby: Don't worry Flutters, we'll stop that maniac! 

Yang: Hey, I know now might not be the best time to mention it, but we got a lot to cover now.

Fluttershy: It's fine. I'm good. Let's keep going. 

The ruins had shifting platforms and several traps including flame throwers, falling boulders, and other things. 

Weiss: How long have these ruins been here? 

Blake: Probably for several years. Almost enough time for- 

Blake looked at the walls. 

Blake: Yes, it's very decayed. 

The ruins soon lead to a series of underground caves.

The underground ruins contained several other threats, aside from the fire and moving platforms, like giant snakes, spiders, and bats! 

But- 

Fluttershy stared at each of them, and they backed off. 

Ruby: How do you do that Flutters? 

Fluttershy: You see Ruby, if you want to make someone submit to you, you need to show that you have no fear of them, and that you are in charge. 

(Y/N): Why do you think she's got a pet bear and lion? 

Ruby: Oh yeah. 

At the end was a mine tunnel, with mine carts going down, and one of the tracks had a big muscular koala flexing. 

Koala Kong (A muscular koala who has a self-absorbed attitude about himself!)

(Y/N): We find an insane kangaroo, and now we've been lead to a muscular koala. 

Fluttershy: That poor thing, muscularized against his will. 

Koala Kong began to pick up heavy rocks and throw them, only for Crash to spin into them. 

The muscular koala lifted his eyebrows in confusion and started to try it again. 

Yang: Not exactly the brightest bulb is he? 

(Y/N): Hmmm ... 

You noticed one of those minecarts. 

(Y/N): Hey Crash, keep him busy. 

Crash did just that as Koala Kong was getting angry, not noticing that- 

Team (Y/N): HAVE A NICE TRIP! 

You all knocked a minecart in his direction, and that tripped Koala Kong over as he was sent flying down into the mines. 

Fluttershy: Is he going to be okay? 

(Y/N): I bet. A muscular guy like him, he'll live. 

Soon enough... 

Yang moved some rocks apart, uncovering light. 

Yang: Hey Crash, is that the place you came from? 

Crash saw Cortex Island and he nodded with a big dumb grin on his face. 

Yang: That's the place alright. 

Fluttershy saw that there was toxic waste in the ocean. 

Fluttershy: (getting irritated) That ... JERK! HE'S GOING TO GET IT! 

(Y/N): Oh no, she's getting mad. That's a bad sign for the bad guys. Well, good for us though! Come on!
