You and Ephraim's Group had docked in Taizel!

(Y/N): Hmm ... there doesn't seem to be any enemy troops. 

Ephraim:  Let's move quickly and prepare to go ashore. We've a straight road to the capital from here, but we'll be fighting for every step.

Duessel: Yes, and the fighting will only grow fiercer as we near the capital. I think I have an idea. 

Duessel discussed his idea. 

Ephraim: That won't work. I cannot approve of sending reservists to the front lines.

Duessel: But...the Grado army outnumbers our own by a tremendous amount. We have talented soldiers, but that counts for nothing against those numbers. Currently, we have some ready reservists in the rear, protecting our supply convoy. What good is defending our convoy if it comes at the cost of losing the front? We must abandon our rear guard and strengthen the van, or we've already lost.

(Y/N): We cannot surrender like that! We- Myrrh?! 

Myrrh appeared. 

Myrrh: Oh, pardon me, it's nothing. 

She leaves, and a soldier comes in! 

Soldier: Prince Ephraim! It's a trap! The city's crawling with Grado men! We're under attack!

You guys were surrounded by so many monsters! 

(Y/N): BRING IT ON MONSTERS! 

Lots of them were cyclopses. 

Ephraim: (Y/N), those cyclopses look very strong, we should take them out first. 

(Y/N): Right! Go for the eye, that's how you take them down! 

You and Ephraim dodged the slow yet heavy attacks of the cyclopses and then stabbed out their eyes! 

In just a few minutes, they were all finished! 

Ephraim: Alright, we should rest in this city until we're prepared to advance. Replenish supplies and rest the troops. Remind every soldier that anyone who breaks the citys' laws will be severely punished. 

(Y/N): Alright, we should also prepare defenses along the east in case of an assault. 

Duessel: Yes, the capital's not far, and fresh troops could be here at any time. 

So you all rested up, preparing for the battle to come!
