The Man from Egypt!

(Y/N): Say what?!

Weiss: There's an Egyptian Exhibit?

Yugi: Yeah! Tomorrow at the Domino City Art Museum, they'll be holding an exhibition!

Tea: Sounds very interesting!

Blake: How did you find out about it anyway?

Yugi: A friend of my Grandpa named Professor Yoshimori invited us. He's displaying a bunch of burial artifacts.

Yang: Didn't he find a mummy?

Joey: M-MUMMY?! Hey, I didn't ask to be cursed by anything like that!

Weiss: Ugh.

???: Like it's going to come to life, man.

Tristan Taylor (The last member of Yugi's friend group! Like Tea he always tries to offer support when he can! He's been pretty close with Joey since they were in middle school!)

Joey: YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW THAT TRISTAN?!

(Y/N): What are you, superstitious or something?

Yugi: (Y/N), I remember you saying you went to Egypt once.

(Y/N): Yeah. I did. It was ... interesting to say the least. I freaking hate you, Dio.

Ruby: Yugi, your puzzle was found there too! And ... I think your Grandpa said that all those who found it were dead!

Joey: WHAT?! Yugi, are you okay? You might be cursed!

Yugi: What? No, I'm not! But ... after I completed the puzzle, I've been having blank patches of memory every now and then. It's too weird.

The very next day... at the Domino City Art Museum...

Everyone was waiting for Solomon's friend.

Solomon: Hmm ... now where could he be?

???: Muto!

Solomon: Oh, there he is!

Yoshimori (An archeologist and friend of Solomon!)

Yoshimori: I'm sorry I didn't write to you!

Solomon: I'm just as guilty! But thanks for inviting us! Youngsters, this is Professor Yoshimori!

Yoshimori: Pleased to meet you.

Joey: Oh, so this is the guy who found the tomb!

(Y/N): He looks like the real deal.

A shorter man with a pig-nose appeared beside the professor.

Solomon: ANd he is?

Yoshimori: He's the museum's curator, and he also sponsored the excavation.

Curator: Hello welcome to my museum! The name's Kanekura!

Yoshimori: Mutou, you did say that your grandson solved the Millennium Puzzle right?

Solomon: Why yes he did!

He then noticed Yugi.

Yoshimori: You're Yugi, right?

Yugi: Yes.

Kanekura got a close look at the puzzle.

(Y/N): WOAH! Easy there, buddy. That's his.

Kanekura: My apologies, but I've never seen it before! Someone actually solved the historical inheritance from Ancient Egypt!

(Y/N): So, what's up with him?

Yoshimori: Kanekura is an arts dealer and has a very good eye.

Kanekura: Yugi! You must let me put the Millennium Puzzle on display in today's exhibit!

(Y/N): HEY! Don't even think about it!

Yugi: (Y/N), it's okay really. You can have it, but only for one day.

Kanekura: One day is plenty enough! Hehehehe! Yes, one day is all I need!

(Y/N): Hmm ... hey, girls.

Yang: Yeah. I don't trust that guy either.

Soon...

Everyone was looking around the museum at all the treasures.

Ruby: OOH! These things are so cool!

I mean look at that statute over there! It's so old, and so cool!

Yoshimori: If only they were. Egyptologists used to own half their findings. But the Egyptian Antiques Department passed a law in 1922 to keep all the artifacts in Egypt. Therefore, when Carter found Tutankhamen's Tomb in 1922, he didn't get to keep any of the famous treasures.

Blake: I always thought archeologists made tons of money finding these things.

Yoshimori: HAHAHA! Sorry, but to open the door of history and see things that have been hidden for thousands of years, it's enough payment for me.

(Y/N): Hmm ... I see.

Ruby: Are you okay Yugi?

Yugi: Y-Yeah. I'm just ... concerned. I haven't really gone for long without the Millennium Puzzle.

Yoshimori: Sorry Yugi, Kanekura may have made the excavation possible, so I have no right to say it. But he strikes me as a selfish man.

(Y/N): I agree.

Joey: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!

Tristan: WOAH! Joey, what's wrong?

Joey: M-MUMMY! THAT'S A REAL MUMMY!

Weiss: Oh quit being such a baby. It's not like it's going to jump to life.

As everyone walked off, you and Yugi got a good look at it, only to see someone walk by.

(Y/N): Uh ...

Tears were coming from his eyes.

Yugi: Sir, why are you crying?

???: These tears do not belong to me. In this rotted state, he looks like a dusty old doll. However, the Pharaoh is eternal, and his soul will live on with his name. Yet, he has been denied eternal sleep. And so, his grief appears as tears upon my face.

You noticed he was carrying some weird scales.

(Y/N): Could those be another of the Millennium Items?

Yugi: Hey, (Y/N), I think this man is ... weird.

???: Good day.

He then walked off.

(Y/N): Hmm ... he's no ordinary man. Is he from Egypt?

Later on...

Blake: That was very informative!

Yugi: I really want to go to Egypt someday!

(Y/N): Yeah, it'll be nice. With no more of Dio and his Stand User Henchmen, it'll actually be a relaxing vacation without someone trying to kill me or my friends!

Solomon: Thanks for the fun time, Professor Yoshimori!

Yoshimori: No problem, anytime you like to see me, I'll be at my office in the university. Speaking of, I should get back.

Everyone: Bye!/See ya Professor!

Later...

You and the girls decided to stay with Yugi so that you could get the puzzle back.

Yang: How much longer?

Yugi: Just half an hour.

(Y/N): Okay. And we wait.

Meanwhile...

Kanekura was admiring the Millennium Puzzle.

Kanekura: Yes, I will earn back all the money I made with this exhibit and m-

The door flung open as the Egyptian Man appeared.

Kanekura: AGH! Who the hell are you?

???: My name is Shadi. And I come from a family of grave-keepers who have worked for three thousand years. I also serve Anubis.

Kanekura: AGH! AS IN, THE EGYPTIAN GOD OF DEATH!?

Shadi: Yes. You dared to disturb the resting place of the Gods at Biban Elmuluk. Therefore, I have come here to judge you.

Kanekura: Oh, I see! You're from the Egyptian government. Look, I donm't smuggle artifacts!

Shadi then placed a feather on one side of the scales.

Shadi: In Chapter 125 of the Book of the Dead the Final Judgement is described. These are the Millennium Scales. With this, we are going to play a Shadow Game.

Kanekura: SH-SHADOW GAME?!

Shadi: Into this side, I will place the feather of Ma'at. Yet as you can see, they are even. Next I will ask you several questions. If you do not answer truthfully, the weight will e placed on the other plate. That is, the weight of your sin. If your heart's plate touches the desk, you will receive a deadly penalty game!

Kanekura: WH-WHAT?!

Shadi: The first question: A young girl falls into a deep well, and you are the only person who is witness to this. At your feet is her money. Do you save her or take the money?

Kanekura: I WOULD SAVE HER! OBVIOUSLY!

But the side without the feather of the scales began to sink.

Kanekura: WHAT?! BUT I WAS TELLING THE TRUTH!

Shadi: Next question.

Back outside...

(Y/N): Okay, let's go!

Weiss: Hopefully he doesn't hold back on us.

Back with Kanekura...

The scale dropped more and more.

Kanekura: What's going on?! It just keeps dropping and dropping!

Shadi: You will learn in your own mind, of the Penalty Game.

His chair transformed!

Kanekura: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!

Shadi: This is Ammet. This demon has settled in your mind's room. Now for the final question. Did you trespass on the land of the Gods for your own profit, or only to behold their radiant treasure?

Kanekura: PLEASE STOP! I'LL PAY YOU WHATEVER YOU WANT JUST PLEASE!

And then the side of the scales collapsed.

Shadi: There is no truth in your mind's room. There is only greed.

Kanekura: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!

CHOMP!

Kanekura collapsed, dead. His soul was eaten.

Shadi: Your mind's room stank and overflowed with greed, and so Ammet assumed a similar shape. You had a vision of being devoured by your own sin!

And then he saw the Millennium Puzzle.

Shadi: The Millennium Puzzle?! And it's been completed! How? Who did this?

He walked outside with the Puzzle and saw you guys.

(Y/N): THAT'S HIM!

Yugi: The man from before!

Ruby: Oh, Mr. do you know where the Millennium Puzzle is?

Yugi: I'm supposed to get it back.

Shadi: WHAT?! This boy? It was you?

Yugi: Yeah.

Shadi: It can't be. How is this possible ? Hmmm ...

He took another trinket.

And then he used it on Yugi to go inside his mind!

(Y/N): WHAT?!

Girls: HUH?!

(Y/N): I don't know what this guy wants, but I won't let him hurt Yugi!

You used your magic to transport the minds of you and Team RWBY to go after Shadi!

Inside of Yugi's Mind...

Shadi saw two rooms.

Shadi: Hmm ...

He looked into one and saw scattered toys.

Shadi: This boy ... he has a pure soul. But the other ...

It opened up and out came Yami Yugi.

Yami Yugi: Welcome to my mind's room. The game awaits.

Shadi: Hmm ... it has a heavy mood.

He walked in to see a tomb.

Yami Yugi: I don't know what sort of power you have, to be able to enter my room. Pray tell, how did you do it?

Shadi: Then I am an unexpected guest? And I suppose I must answer. I wanted to know the secret of the power of the Millennium Puzzle, so I decided to visit.

Yami Yugi: You know about all of the Millennium Items?

Shadi: Yes. For three thousand years, since the ancient times, the Millennium Items have been kept in the valley of kings. They were created by magicians for the Pharaoh, and used to judge Tomb Robbers who sought to steal the Pharaoh's funerary treasures. I visited this place using the Millennium Key. It can open the doors of someone's mind. Like this. It reflects their soul, nature, tastes, strengths, weaknesses, and their traumas. I also have the Millennium Scales. It weights the sins and punishes those who are guilty. I don't know about the Millenium Puzzle though. And I don't know if the one who completed it was given any power.

Yami Yugi: I don't think you'll find it easy. For you see, this is a Shadow Game. Somewhere here is the true room. If you search long enough, you will find it.

Shadi: I will find this room then!

Shadi then saw a maze of doors.

Yami Yugi: Let's begin!

He began to explore.

But one door he found had a giant mallet try to hit him!

Shadi: AGH!

He kept looking around and around through all the doors and found another where Yami Yugi was sitting.

Yami Yugi: Yo.

Shadi: This has to be it.

But as he stepped in, the floor collapsed.

Shadi: ANOTHER TRAP?!

He grabbed the remaining tiles, but then-

(Y/N): HEY!

You grabbed his hand.

(Y/N): So, you were curious and went in.

Shadi: You.

Team RWBY: We're here too!

They helped you get him up.

Shadi: Thank you, I am in your debt.

Weiss: Maybe this will teach you not to hijack our friend's mind.

Shadi: My apologies.

(Y/N): You did a good thing bringing the puzzle back though. That guy who had it was a bad guy.

Shadi: You are aware of your friend's other self yes?

Ruby: Well yeah! Yugi changed before.

Blake: And you are?

Shadi: My name is Shadi. I judge those who have defiled the tomb of the Pharaoh.

(Y/N): I'm (Y/N), and they're Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang.

Blake: So, no hard feelings?

Shadi: No, after you saved me. I think I will take my leave.

Yang: Okay, just don't try this again. Or-

Yang cracked her knuckles.

Yang: You'll get it.

Shadi: Hahahaha. I will be aware of that. Farewell.

He then walked off and disappeared.

(Y/N): Strange fellow. But I think it's clear to see he's not our enemy.

Ruby: Yep!

Soon...

You all left Yugi's mind.

Yugi: Hey, where did he go?

(Y/N): He had ... business to attend to.

Ruby: Yeah.

Yugi: And we got my Millennium Puzzle back!

Blake: Yugi, are you aware of your other self?

Yugi: Other self? What are you-

(Y/N): Don't you remember the lapses in your memory?

Yugi: Yeah, but-

(Y/N): It's clearly from the other you.

Yugi: The other ... me.

(Y/N): Be on alert.

Meanwhile...

Kaiba was seen looking out the window of his company building.

Kaiba: Yugi, I will not forget the humiliation you put me through! Soon, you will know the pain I had to endure! Mokuba, you know what to do, right?

???: Hahahaha! Yes, just leave it to me, Big Brother.
