So my doctor sent us a letter officially diagnosing me with depression and I don't know how I feel about that. I mean, yeah, I know that there's something wrong with me, but now that it's official....I'm speechless. At least now my mom has stopped shutting me down when I try to explain how I'm feeling. She actually sent me the link to You Will Be Found this morning and I started SOBBING because fuck. She finally understands. My doctor also sent a psychiatrist referral, so hopefully I can start therapy soon.
