It happened to have been several months after the time when the multiverse was at stake and was saved by the heroes from the evil villain Dimentio, all seemed rather calm. Except for Lianna.

Endless days of nothing but stress from hallucinations and bad memories, endless nights due to lack of sleep from insomnia and sleep paralysis... Lianna was stressed out and tired thanks to the trauma Dimentio placed on her all because of her new evil side named Ms.L.

Lianna sat tirelessly at the kitchen table one day, staring down at her plate of pancakes that she made, the pancakes resembled a bunny head, decorated in chocolate chips. They were getting colder as they stayed on the plate.

Lianna sighed and began to eat them. She ate, she wasn't eating as much as she wanted to, traumatized by that jester.

She closed her eyes and had a sort of vision in her head. She imagined that moment when they had fused, creating that giant horrifying puppet bunny monster that was capable to destroying the entire multiverse.

Lianna held her head in agony and wailed out loud cries, she wanted to forget that moment ever happened.

She remembered that before she was reunited with the Mario Brothers, she said that she didn't remember what it was like during her times at Castle Bleck, but that was a clear lie. She remembered all the details at Castle Bleck.

She felt sick by the thought of Dimentio flirting with her all those times, like she actually was going to vomit. The memories wouldn't go away. Lianna needed something to take her mind off of him, and fast.

She decided to go and sit down in her chair in order to think of something to keep her mind off. She sat down in her chair and rubbed the temples on the sides of her head.

Suddenly, there was a knock on her door. Lianna looked up and slowly approached the door, she was anxious about who could be at the door. Lianna slowly tiptoed towards the door nervously as she slowly opened the door, slowly but surely.

Fortunately for her, it wasn't Dimentio. In fact, it was nothing more than her best friend and boyfriend, Luigi. "Hey Lianna." He said to her. Lianna let out a major sigh of relief. "O-o-oh... hey Luigi..." Lianna said and blushed as she saw him. "Are you Ok?" He asked. "O-o-oh yeah..." She said and yawned. "You sure?" He asked, concerned for her. Lianna nodded and yawned heavily.

"I've noticed you haven't been out lately. I thought we'd go for a walk together." He suggested to her. "O-o-oh really?" Lianna asked and yawned. "Well, yeah... I never actually been outside in the sunlight for a good while.... I have just been locking myself in here for months, having a party with my plushies!" Lianna explained to him with a lie.

"Well, it might be good for you to come get some fresh air." Luigi explained. Lianna nodded. "Okay. That would be fine. Just a little walk through the Mushroon Kingdom, just the two of us." She said to him.

Lianna smiled, but deep down inside, she knew he couldn't learn her secret. "Yeah. C'mon, it'll be fun." He said with a smile. "O-okay." Lianna said and got ready for traveling. She gathered up extra items and then exited her house, closing the door.

Lianna then shielded her eyes from the sun. "O-o-oh my... h-h-how long was I trapped inside for?" She asked while groaning. "Months. You really need to get out more." Luigi explained. Lianna was surprised by hearing how long she was inside her house for. "Months? Oh gosh... c-come on Luigi..." Lianna groaned as the green pair headed off. Luigi held her paw. "It's ok." He said calmly to her.

Lianna smiled and walked with him. The pair walked for a while until they stumbled upon a town full of toads. Several toads were in town, many of them seemed to look the same. "Toad town looks as peaceful as ever." Luigi commented.

"Yeah. No more void in the sky or any dangers that have happened. Although it feels like all the toads look the same... except for their colors. Some red, some yellow, some green, some blue and some purple." Lianna commented on the lack of variety for Toads.

There happened to be a lavender and pink colored toad with a lavender mushroom cap, pink hair and glasses, she happened to be reading a book. "Except for that Toad over there." Luigi pointed out, looking at the lavender and pink Toad.

Lianna looked over to her. "Oh yeah. She does seem interesting." She said. The toad was reading a book as she was walking around. She seemed to have her nose buried into the book, until she accidentally bumped into Luigi. "Gah!" She cried out as she bumped into her. "Oops! Sorry." Luigi apologized when he saw her fall onto the ground.

The Toad gasped and fell onto the ground. "O-o-oh.. sorry about that..." She said, trying to find her glasses. She fortunately managed to find them and placed them on. She looked up at Luigi. Her eyes widened. "Oh my gosh! It's the great Luigi!" She explained. "And Lianna the Bunny! Two of the 5 heroes of the Light Prognosticus!" She explained in awe. Luigi looked surprised. "G-great?" He asked in confusion.

"Oh yes! I am so excited to meet some of the heroes of the Light Prognosticus! O-oh my... I am getting ahead of myself... my name is Buttons the Toad... and I have a LOVE for reading! Especially books on interesting artifacts, myths, legends, prophecies and creatures!" She explained with a smile. "Wow. That's pretty good." Luigi said.

Buttons nodded. "Yeah. I have read you guys in my book on ancient prophecies. I have learned some facts about the Dark Prognosticus, but it doesn't have a lot of information like prophecies and guides like how to destroy the multiverse." She said and laughed.

"Yeah." Lianna said, laughing nervously. She was getting nervous feelings about the Dark Prognosticus and the one piece of the story that mentioned the Chaos Heart and its ideal host. "But I have heard all about you Luigi, I read your novels about your adventure in the Waffle Kingdom!" Buttons said. "You have? I thought no one believed me." Luigi said. "But I bought all the volumes, and I read through each of them. I am fascinated by your stories. I know you and your brother Mario have several partners that traveled alongside you, and they all seem very friendly. Although Lianna unfortunately doesn't seem to have anyone... maybe I can be the first?" Buttons asked. "Me? You want to travel alongside with me?" Lianna asked in awe. "Oh yes! Me and you, we can be the best of friends! Would you let me come along with you?" She asked. "Of course Buttons! It would be great to have you!" Lianna explained. "Oh great! I promise that I will share my knowledge with you!" She explained.

Buttons had joined Lianna's party as an official member of her group!

Luigi smiled at the pair. "I cannot fight unfortunately, but I can tattle and tell you all you need to know on enemies and other creatures." Buttons explained. "Oh okay. Glad that you're joining us." Lianna said. "So shall we get going on this adventure?" Buttons asked. "Um, I was just wanting to travel with Luigi for a little walk." Lianna said. "Oh, a walk? Well, why not I join you too?" She asked. "Sure. Be our guest." Lianna explained happily. Buttons nodded and got out a map. "Okay! Let's go!" She explained. Lianna followed after her. "Wait up Buttons!" Lianna called out and chased after her.

Luigi followed the pair of friends. The three friends were walking through a nearby forest, enjoying themselves and the nice weather. "Around here should be a village of Whittles." Buttons explained. "Oh cool! A Whittle village!" Lianna explained in awe. It seemed rather peaceful, until the three friends heard the sounds of snoring. "Huh? What's this?" Lianna asked. "According to my research, that is the sound of a snoring Yoshi." Buttons explained.

"A Yoshi? From over there?" Luigi pointed towards the direction where the snoring was coming from. There was a black Yoshi wearing a red hoodie sleeping by the trees of the forest.

"Yeah. That Yoshi." Buttons explained. Lianna noticed the Black Yoshi and approached him curiously. "Hello?" Lianna asked him. The Yoshi started to wake up. "Hmm? Wazzat?" He asked as he yawned and sat up. "Hello there. We happened to have noticed you asleep." Lianna said to him. "Oh, did you? Am I disturbing you?" He asked tiredly.

"Of course not. We were just wondering what a Yoshi like you was doing out here in this forest alone?" Lianna asked. "Looking for a place to sleep. I thought this place would be nice." The Black Yoshi explained. "Oh. Okay. Aren't there other Yoshis with you?" Lianna asked him. "Nope. Just me." He replied back. "Oh that's a bumber." Lianna said. "You seemed rather relaxed." She commented. "I like people who are relaxed and laid back. I usually am rather laid back myself." Lianna explained.

"Cool. You seem nice enough. Name's Shadow." The Yoshi named Shadow explained. "The name's Lianna. And these are my friends, Luigi and Buttons." Lianna explained. "Nice to meet you." Shadow said happily. "Yeah. It is great to meet you too. We were just going for a walk." Lianna explained. "Oh, cool. Well, I've got nothing better to do. Mind if I join you guys?" Shadow asked. "Oh sure! That would be great!" Lianna explained joyfully.

He stood up, putting his hands in his pockets. "Sweet." He said. Lianna smiled at Shadow. "Yay! A new friend for our adventure!" She explained happily. Shadow nodded. "Sounds like fun." He said with a smile.

Shadow has joined the party!

Lianna smiled and jumped into the air in delight. She then went to him and made a fist and held it out, wanting a fistbump. Shadow smirked and gave Lianna a fistbump. Lianna smiled as he did that. "Glad we can be great friends Shadow." She said happily.  "Same here." Shadow said happily. Lianna nodded with a smile. Shadow smiled back at her. "Well guys? You want to go and check out the Whittle village?" Buttons asked the group. "Oh yes! I would love to check it out!" Lianna explained. Buttons waited for Luigi and Shadow's responses. "Oh yeah! Let's-a go!" Luigi replied. "I'm down for that." Shadow replied. "Alright! Let's go!" Buttons explained as they walked to the Whittle village.

They soon arrived, it seemed to be large and the houses were made of trees. Several Whittles were doing their own thing, mostly building stuff. "Wow. I haven't seen Whittles since my last galaxy adventure." Luigi said. "Oh wow." Lianna commented. "This is one of many Whittle villages, there are others, but this one is the one we are currently visiting." Buttons explained. There happened to be a blue leafed Whittle whistling to himself as he sweeps the front of a tree. Luigi spotted him and went over. Lianna noticed Luigi and followed him, with Buttons and Shadow following their friends. The Whittle looked at Luigi. "Oh hello there! Wait a second... you're Luigi!" He explained.

"Oh. Yes, I am." Luigi replied. "Pleased to meet you, I am Sycamore. A shopkeeper and woodcarver. I have made special gifts for the heroes for saving the multiverse." He said. "Come in, come in." He explained. Lianna approached the two of them with Buttons and Shadow. "Well I'll be shocked, but there is also Lianna the Bunny here too!" Sycamore explained with a smile. "Come in to my shop, all of you!" He explained in glee. "Heh. Ok." Luigi smiled and followed him.

The group entered into the place, it seemed to be a decorated shop with all kinds of wood carvings. Sycamore went to a bench and got out some necklaces made of wood that were shaped like the eight pure hearts. There were 5 of them. "Three of these are for the other heroes, but two of them are for you two." He explained. Lianna smiled as Luigi held out my necklace for me and she bowed her head down. Luigi put it over her. "It looks good on you." He explained with a smile. "Glad it does." Lianna said with another smile.

Sycamore smiled and then got an idea. "I have an idea, to celebrate the events that happened months ago, how about I hold a special sort of treat. My special maple and honey truffles topped with powder sugar and sweet Sky Juice made from Overthere Apples?" He asked. "That sounds wonderful!" Lianna explained and then yawned. "Yeesh... I haven't slept in so many months due to all the partying... is it fine if I take a nap?" Lianna asked curiously. "Sure. Be my guest." Sycamore said. Buttons smiled. "May I please assist you?" She asked. "Of course." He said and got to work with Buttons.

Lianna laid in a nice comfy loveseat and closed my eyes, beginning to drift into the dream world, where the nightmares would begin...
