Mario, Peach and Luigi opened the door, unsure of what they would find. All the while, Merlee's words about finding the "other two heroes" rang in their minds. We're those other heroes somewhere in this new world? If not, where? Meanwhile, the creeping void grew larger in the skies above Flipside. The hopes of all worlds rested on the heroes finding the next Pure Heart...

Chapter 3-1: When Geeks Attack

They arrived at a very pixely world. "So this is where that door leads... I suppose the next Pure Heart is nearby..." Tippi looked around. "That's odd... I can feel it nearby, but where could it be... Well I'm- AAACK!!!" Tippi was snatched by a tongue.

"Ner-herrrr herrr herrr herr!" A lizard creature appears. "HI-TECHNICAAAAAAL! I caught a super-rare pixilated butterfly! My friends at digibutter.nerr are going to freak when they get word of this find! I must bring it home. I can't miss this week's episode of 'The Grodus Chronicles'! No way am I going to entrust my digital Recordmeow to tape an episode so epic. This is so hi-technicaaaaal!" He chameleon said, he disappeared.

Mario looked around confused. "Woah-ho-ho! A kidnapping! Ohhhhh, the despair! The awful spectacle of it all!" A voice called out, a bush shakes. "The shocking scene occurred right before my very own eyes! Well, I guess that's a wrap for that Pixl. Now that that freak Francis has got her..." The Pixl said, hiding back into the bush.

Mario approached the bush. He asked the Pixl about the chameleon. "Oh, that was Francis. Anything he steals you pretty much cannot get back... But if you want to find your butterfly friend... Blow up this red x on an old castle, then burn these red tentacles, ride red wind and then you'll arrive at Fort Francis." The Pixl explained. "We have to save her." Luigi pointed out.

Mario nodded and pressed on with his brother and Peach. They went up to a castle. Mario decided to check it out. He had Boomer with him and decided to inspect a red 'X'. The entire castle blew up. Bowser fell to the ground.

"Blargh! Please tell me someone didn't blow up my awesome lair..." Bowser groaned, he saw the trio. "Hey! I know that mustache from somewhere! Mario! ...And Princess Peach? And... green guy... Why do you always have to do that?! That's like, the 100th time you've come to my castle and screwed everything up! Bwargh!" He stomped the ground, knocking Peach and Luigi away, and creating walls that trapped Mario with Bowser.

"But now you're in a world of PAIN Mario! No more sequels! I'm ending this once and for all!" Bowser explained. The fight began. Mario had Boomer help him out blow Bowser up and also used a new spare Fire Bursts when he needed too. Bowser was soon defeated. "Noooo! I HATE Mario! It's not fair!" He cried out. The walls disappeared.

"Mario!" Peach called, heading over to Mario. "You ok bro?" Luigi asked. Mario nodded in response. "Ah, Princess Peach! My lovely wife!" Bowser called out. "Your... WIFE?!" Peach cried out. Mario was confused.

"What? Are you kidding?! How could you forget our big day?" Bowser asked out loud. Luigi turned to Peach. "Wait, that was YOUR wedding?" Luigi asked in shock. "That.... sham was not a wedding! What are you doing here anyway, Bowser?" Peach asked confused. "How should I know?! Me and my minions were locked up in that castle... when all of a sudden, BAM! We end up face down in this field. I found this awesome castle and thought, why not make myself a lair?" Bowser told them the story.

"Well, you see... Bowser.... We really need your help... Why don't you come with us?" Peach asked. "Wait... WHAT?!" Bowser asked out loud. Mario explains what's going on. "Bleck got us married just to make a Chaos Heart to destroy the world?!" Bowser asked. Mario nodded.

"Yeah, and that is why we need you to help us find the Pure Hearts" Peach explained.

"No. I don't wanna. I'd think about it if it was for you, but there is NO WAY I am helping Mario, let alone his annoying green brother!" Bowser whined. Peach shakes her head.

"We don't have time for you to be a big baby about this! Come on, Bowser.... please?" Peach asked. "But... But I'm Bowser! I'm A-grade, 100 percent, prime-cut final boss! I'm gonna take over the world someday! No way am I helping Mario! He always ruins my plans!" Bowser shouted.

"Pleeeeaaassseeee? For me?" Peach begged. Bowser turned around, crossing his arms. "No. I don't wanna." He said. Mario responds, then turns to Bowser. Bowser turned back. "What'd you say? If the world ends, there's not gonna be any world for me to rule?" Bowser asked. Luigi nodded. Mario nods. "And What will happen to your poor minions who were caught by Count Bleck? They've been brainwashed! They now do HIS evil bidding, not your evil bidding... now your minions will have to toil under a different cruel and merciless leader!" Peach cried out.

"But... But... Why, you... MERFFF! BWARGH! FINE! I'll join your stupid quest." Bowser said, giving in. "Oh thank you Bowser! You're so sweet!" Peach said happily. "NO I'M NOT SWEET! I'm not helping Mario just to save a bunch of worlds. I'm only doing it so I can rule someday. So don't get all cuddly with me Mario!" Bowser shouted.

"All right, Bowser! You big sweetie..." Peach said happily. Bowser had joined the party! "Lord Bowser!" A voice called. Bowser turned to see his troops. "Your crabbiness! Are you leaving us?" A troop member asked. "What? ... Oh, yeah. Minions! Hold down the fort until I return." Bowser ordered. "Your lair is safe with us, sir! Oh sir, it seems that Count Bleck has brainwashed some of your loyal henchpeople. They're probably going to be forced to attack you, so feel free to dole out punishment." The Troopa said.

"Of course, we would love to come along and defend you, but... you know, we'd just, uh, get in your way, your heinousness..." A Hammer Bro replied. "Clobber that Count for us!" Another Koopa Troopa cheered. "Yeah! Anyone that wears a cape and a monocle is due for a beating!" Bowser shouted. "Long live king Bowser!" One cheered. "Oh, you guys... Fine. Let's get your stupid precious heart or whatever it's called. I SAID MOVE IT!" Bowser demanded. Luigi jumped back, startled.

With Bowser in the Party, the four heroes made a most unlikely quartet. Peach attempted to explain the quest to Bowser, by it made him grunt in confusion. As Mario walked ahead, He spotted something that made him briefly stop and stare.. "What is it Mario?" asked Peach, as she turned to see the blue expanse ahead. The great, glittering waves of the Tile Pool stretched as far as she could see. Fort Francis was somewhere across the water...

Chapter 3-2: Bloops Ahoy!

Mario, Peach, Bowser and Luigi pressed on, hoping to find that final hero. They ventured on and soon arrived to a huge ocean of water. They swam through the underwater area, until they got trapped in a room filled with enemies.

They all teamed up to work together to defeat all the enemies. Once the enemies were defeated, a large chest appeared. "Another large chest! It's Pixl Time!" Mario called out, thinking this was an obvious Pixl. "A what?" Bowser and Luigi asked, they tilted their heads. "A Pixl is a fairy of sorts." Peach said, there was Thoreau, Boomer and Slim floating around them.

They opened the chest, and sure enough, a pixl came out. "HEY! In case you ain't heard, I throw a lot of girth around these parts. And I'm gonna check ya out to see if you got the weight to hang with me." He said, he checked out Bowser.

"Alright, let's start by checking out that face of yours. Dude has shaggy eyebrows! That's not even kinda girthy! You get 50 girth points. Alright, now I gotta check out the girthyness of those clothes. What's more girthy than a giant spiky shell?! That's worth 100 girth points. Girth check on the body coming up. That's where the real girth comes from. Look at this guy! Look him up on the dictionary, and he's the definition of girth! A superheavyweight! Bam... 10000 girth points to you! The sheer girthatude from this guy alone is blowing my mind! You're definitely girthy enough for me. You're going places, and I want in on the ride." The Pixl named Thudley shouted. Thudley joined them.

They then used Thudley to escape and swam deeper into the pool. "BLOOP!" A voice was heard. "BLUH-BLOOP! (What's going on?!)" A bubbly noise asked. Mario, Peach, Bowser and Luigi flailed their arms about, with Mario and Peach laughing their butts off at Bowser. Bowser looked at them annoyed. "Shut up!" He shouted.

A few tentacles shown up until a giant Blooper shown up. "BLOOP BLOOP! (Hey Land Freaks! How would you like a tentacle sandwich?!)" The blooper asked. Bowser turned to the blooper. "I'll give you one better pal! A Bowser-brand knuckle sandwich, curticy of your face!" Bowser shouted. The battle began as they burned the red tentacles.

"BLOOP! BLOOP! BLOOP! (No! Not there! Anywhere but there!)" He cried out. "What was that? Hit there and only there? With pleasure!" He shouted, Bowser continued to burn the red tentacles.

Soon they defeated the Big Blooper. "BLOOP!!!" He cried out as he died. Mario and Peach were laughing while blushing, but this next stage and next boss will be no laughing matter. Luigi sighed with relief. "Phew... Cmon, we gotta get moving."

Somehow, the heroes had beached the Big Blooper and crossed the Tile Pool. But before they could dry, they saw the imposing silhouette of Fort Francis. "It sure is getting dark." Preach said in a quiet voice. But when they looked up, they realized they were in the shadow of a huge tree. Mario know in his but this must be the way set outward toward the great tree...

Chapter 3-3: Up, Up and a Tree!

Mario and his friends started to climb up the huge tree, while they're doing that, the author has something to tell the readers...

A/N: Hello everyone! I want to talk to you guys about this stupid tree level! Back when I was like 6 or 7 years old, I wanted to beat this game like my mother has done. But I could never best this level... There wasn't internet in my life, but I always had my mom beat this part for me... Okay, I think the heroes have just finished climbing the tree, it's time that we face the Fandom's waifu.

A voice called out. "Ah ha ha. You have arrived." A voice called. Mario and Peach looked around. "T-that voice... sounds very familiar..." Mario said, looking up.

Dimentio floated above them. "You don't wear tardiness well. At last, the hero... I know you from the festival of hair that dances on your lip." Dimentio taunted. Mario felt offended. "Take that back!" He yelled at him.

"Where's Lianna?! You know where she is!" Peach demanded. "Oh, you mean that green bunny? Don't worry about her. We're taking very special care of her. I quite like the changes she's made." Dimentio said.

Mario growled at his words. Peach got into an attack stance. As did Luigi and Bowser. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am a humble servant of Count Bleck... Master of illusions... Pleaser of crowds... I am..." He spins and poses. "Dimentio!" He introduced himself to the other three heroes.

"I know... since you tried to get that dragon, Fracktail to kill me..." Mario said angrily. "So you do remember me. I'm impressed. But this is as far as you go." Dimentio said. "We'll see about that." Mario responded.

"How about some... MAGIC!" Dimentio called out. He snapped his fingers and they were transported to another realm. "You are in dimension D. This is a realm of my own creation. Here, my attacks are 265 times more potent. I am far more powerful here! Now, let's dance." Dimentio said, engaging in combat. Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser started to ambush him, attacking him, for the love and protection of their dear friend.

Dimentio disappeared, and reappeared with a clone. "Can you handle THIS... illusion?" He asked. They were using their skills and stuff to help take down Dimentio.

Dimentio was eventually defeated. "Your blows are like miniature jackhammers wielded by tiny angry men! How could this be?! I am supposed to be 265 times stronger here..." He groaned. "You do know that we all got 265 times more stronger in here?" Mario asked.

"Now we demanded you that you give us back Lianna! I swear, if you laid a hand on her... you're gonna get it, AGAIN!" Peach snapped. "Yeah! Give her back this instant!" Luigi added.

Dimentio laughed as he floated upward. "Fools. This was only a play date. A mere fraction of my true strength. Don't think you've won yet." Dimentio said, he snapped his fingers and they were back at the tree. "Oh, and as for your dear friend... I've actually grown quite fond of her. I think we will be gold friends in the near future..." Dimentio said slyly. Mario attempt to lunge at him, but Peach held him back.

"Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but I am needed elsewhere. Until next time... Ciao!" He called, then Dimentio disappeared. "Pfft! Dimentio? Are you kidding? That's a lame name." Bowser chuckled. Mario nodded.

Peach felt worried for what happened to Lianna. Mario was worried too. Luigi was shaking in fear, because of the experience he had, he imagined Lianna in the same situation. "Sh-she must be so scared..." Luigi said worried. "Y-Yeah... she probably would be so traumatized after all of this..." Peach said. Mario patted Luigi on the back gently.

"Th-this is my fault..." Luigi blamed himself, he looked at his hands. "It's not your fault.... we never knew this would happen... this is their faults, they got us into their mess, now we have to fix it..." Mario replied.

"B-but still... I could've saved her..." Luigi said sadly. "Stop being such a crybaby about it. Nothing is gonna change if we just stand around here." Bowser said.

Peach offered Luigi a tissue. "We should head on, we still have Tippi to rescue and worlds to save..." Mario said. Luigi wiped the tears from his eyes. "You're right. Let's go." He replied.

Mario, Peach, Bowser and Luigi had scaled the tree and defeated Dimentio. The exhausted heroes were relieved to finally see the ivory towers of Fort Francis. Was Tippi safe? Was the next Pure Heart really waiting for them ahead? Their only answers were the strange voices carried on the wind from inside the fort...

Chapter 3-4: The Battle of Fort Francis

After riding on red winds above the tree, our heroes have finally arrived outside of Fort Francis. "So this is that dweeb's castle? Pfft! What does this chumps castle have over mine?!" Bowser shouted out loud, Bowser crossed his arms.

"Do you think that Tippi is alright? I'm stating to worry.." Peach said nervously. Mario nods in agreement. There was a sign about "Nerds and Total Hot Babes" only. "Guys, you're going to have to wait out here... it says "Total Hot Babes" only... and none of you are nerdy enough to be in here either... I'll be back..." Peach said, venturing in herself.

Mario decided to wait with Bowser and Luigi outside. Luigi sat down while Bowser stomped his foot.

Peach was exploring the fortress herself, making sure to be careful. She heard a voice in the keyholes. Peach inspected inside. The lizard named Francis was inside taking pictures of Tippi, who was locked in a cage, shaking with fear.

"Yeeash... These pictures are totally high-resolution!" He called out in awe. Peach watched worriedly, she had to do something. There was a robot ahead. Peach approached the robot, carefully.

"You have reached the door to the master's private room. For security reasons, you will need to confirm your identity. Answer the following questions with true or false." The robot ordered. Peach got ready to answer the questions.

"Video game soundtracks are totally hi-technicaaaal!" The robot asked. "True." Peach replied. "Episode 127 of 'The Grodus Chronicles' is the schweetest thing ever." The robot asked. "True." Peach replied. "One day, I will own all of the 'Starship X-naut' season 3 collectable action figures." The computer asked. "True." Peach replied. "Now enter the passcode." The computer replied.

Peach tried to enter the passcode but it was wrong. "MEEOOOOW! MEEOOOOW! MEEOOOOW! You are not the master! Deploy security measures!" A trap door flung open under Peach. She fell down into a pit with a Chain Chomp. She managed to get out of the pit, Found two codes and managed to bust a prisoner out of prison, a Pixl.

"Freedom!" She called out. "Oh, finally, I'm out! I didn't know what I was going to do! Thank you, thank you! I've been shut up in here forever... You'll never catch me in there again. I must repay you! I'm at your service. I'm sure you can find use for my Talent! Hold on a second. Before we get all friendly, we should see if we're on the same page. You met Francis, right? What do you think of the guy? Your first impression?" She asked Peach.

"Nerdy." Peach replied. "Ah, I see. Anything else about him catch your eye?" She asked. "He's into Butterflies." Peach replied. "Oh, yes. I see how you would think of that. So... sum it up. What do you think about him?" She asked. "He's a tech geek." Peach replied. "So you think Francis is a nerdy butterfly fanatic, basically a tech geek?" Carrie asked. Peach nodded.

"Well, imagine that! You and I feel the same way about about him! We've got great harmony. Yep, I think we'll work perfectly. Together, nothing can touch us!" Carrie said, joining Peach. "With me, you can get to places in a hurry! Go ahead, give me a spin!" Carrie called out. Peach used Carrie to help get around and then managed to talk to the other computer.

"You have reached the door to the master's super-secret lair. Only master is allowed inside. You will need to confirm your identity. Please answer true or false to the following statements." The computer ordered. Peach nodded in response.

"'Starship X-naut' comics are never to be removed from their plastic sleeves!" The computer asked. "True." Peach replied. "Role-playing games should be no less than 180 hours. Not including side quests." The computer asked. "True." Peach replied. "Fanny-packs are both functional and stylish." The computer asked. "True." Peach replied again. "Now enter the passcode." The computer ordered. Peach typed in the correct code.

"Welcome home master. Master's fantasy fortress is safe from intruders." The computer replied. The door opened for her. Peach went in and found a key. Nothing else of interest was in the room.

Peach then went back to the previous tower and answered all the questions again and typed the correct code. She then got the two keys to unlock the door. There wasn't much else. She'd have to go into the room with Francis and rescue Tippi. Peach headed down stairs to the room to unlock the door.

"Meow! Both keys accepted. Only master Francis and 'totally hot babes' are allowed in this room. You will enter if you are compatible to master Francis. Answer the following questions true or false." The computer ordered. She answered all the questions with True to make sure she could get in.

"Mrroow!" The door called. The doors open. Peach entered inside, acting like she liked Francis. Francis spotted her. "Nerrr. Who are you? What do you think you're doing, sneaking into my room? Haven't you heard of privacy?" He asked.

Peach walked up to Francis. "There you are Francis! I've been looking ALL OVER for you!" She said in anger. "For... ME? Oh-oh gosh.... h-hot babe... HOT BABE IN MY ROOM! Oh baby this is hi-technicaaaal! C-calm down F-francis... Y-y-you're getting way to excited... sweatles... forming... must... get... laptop." He pulls out his laptop and activated a program for chatting. It almost looked like a dating simulator.

"What on earth is that?! What's going on here?" Peach asked in shock. "This is a program I have ready so that I can talk to the... heh... laaaaadies... Nerrherr. Time for this baby to work it's magic." Francis said, a list appears for him. He selects speak, then talk to hot babe. "What's your name?" He asked.

"My name? Oh, me? I'm... Peach..." Peach replied. "Peach? Why that name is just peachy. Oh... I'm drooling at the sound of it..." Francis gushed.

You've received a straight answer! Francis's passion leveled up. He selects look, then hot babe. "You're very cute. Like a princess straight from an anime or video game. You can be feisty... but that adds to your charm." Francis gushed. "You think I'm... charming?" Peach asked.

"You want feisty? I'll show you feisty! Lay it on thick like that, and you'll get it!" Peach shouted in a feisty tone. "Eep! I'm sorry! Please forgive me... my queen!" Francis pleaded. "I-I'm NOT a Queen... I'm a Princess!" Peach explained.

Francis whispered to himself. "Nerrherr. She's cute when she's angry." He whispered. Francis got yelled at! Peach's charisma went up! Francis's Passion leveled up! He selects inventory, give item, then signed pink princess poster. "As a token of my affection, I'd like to give you this." Francis said, he hands her the poster. "Oh, um... thank you! It's gorgeous!" Peach said happily. "Oh, you like it? I knew a hottie like you would get on how premium this poster is." Francis gushed.

He rambled on about the poster and the signatures. "Um... yeah... sounds great (What is he talking about? Lianna is a more nerd than I am...)" Peach thought. "O-ok, you got it. Let me take that back for a few minutes." He said. Peach handed him back the poster.

"Nerrrr... What should I do now?" He selects think, then about the future. "You know, we're perfect for each other. It's destiny! We should get married!" Francis said happily. "M-married? So, how much do you make?" Peach asked, then she realized something.

"Hey! Who's picking these responses for me, anyway?! I'm not marrying this dork! I shouldn't even be having this conversation! I came to save Tippi! Where is she?!" She demanded. "Tippi? Hmm... Tippi... Tippi..." He searched his options, but didn't find it. "There's no Tippi option! What is she talking about?!" He shouted. "That's it! I've had it! You'd better bring her out, NOW!" She demanded, using Boomer to blow up the Graphics Card.

"BLAMMO!" Boomer exploded. "Noooooooo! My graphics caaaaard!" The room was returned to normal.

"That was my only copy of that patch, now it's gone! Real babes are scary..." He cried out. "Peach?" A voice asked. Peach saw Tippi. "Tippi! Oh I was so worried!" Peach cried out. "You... You came to save me?" Tippi asked.

Francis looked confused. "So... So you barge into my home to steal Francine? Well... No, I won't let you!" He shouted. Peach wasn't going to go down without a fight. "Francine is my only offline friend... No one will take you from me!" He shouted. "Eek!" Tippi squeaked.

Tippi backed up in what little space she had. Her cage lowered. "Peach!" She shouted. Peach then prepared to face him off in a duel.

Francis turned invisible. "Impressed? My invisibility is pretty high-technicaaaal! Little Francine is hidden, so you can't take her! En garde!" He shouted. Peach faced off against Francis. She had to hurry, and fast. Well, she didn't have to hurry, but it would be nice to do this fast to save the world faster. Francis attacked, Peach was battling against him and was using her Pixls to help defeat him.

Soon, he was defeated. "NERRRRR!" Francis got up and ran away. The guys came in soon after. "I saw that dweeb run off. Everything ok in here?" Bowser asked. Peach nodded and saw Tippi was set free from her prison.

"Mario... You guys came to save me?" Tippi asked. Mario nodded. "We couldn't have just let you fall into Francis's hands..." Mario said.

"Thank you... Thank you Mario! I'm so happy..." Tippi said happily. Suddenly, the Pure Heart appeared. "What... is THAT?" Bowser asked. Luigi looked at it curiously. "Is that what we were looking for?" Luigi asked curiously. Mario was shocked when the Green Pure Heart appeared.

"It's like Tippi's Heart Burst with happiness and released a Pure Heart!" Peach explained. "Mario... I was so happy when I saw you come to save me. Please... take it." Tippi said happily. She gave him the green Pure Heart.

So Thoreau, Boomer, Slim, Thudley and Carrie all danced as the heroes obtained a Pure Heart.

The Fourth Pure Heart appeared in a dazzling flash of mysterious light. What made it appear? The group was puzzled by this and many other riddles. "...So, you're not hurt?" asked Tippi, full of concern. Tippi seemed different than before. She had started to change. Mario simply shook his head and started the long journey back to Flipside...
