Double the Trouble

Catra's P.O.V.

Finally, we reached the small village that was in the Crimson Waste. I remember this place from before. It was a market place. When I was with the Horde, it was where we kept Mara's ship for awhile. It was also....where I met a certain, interesting character....

"Catra? You alright?" Scorpia asked me. Melog pressed his muzzle into my palm, and I smiled, stroking his neck. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just....remembering something, that's all. Anyway, we should find the contact that has the supplies." I said. Entrapta walked over to us, with Emily rolling beside her.

"Okay, I parked the hovercraft. Nothing should be able to touch it. I put a special security defense for it so it won't get stolen." Entrapta stated.

"Perfect. Now remember you guys, this place is not a friendly place. There are criminals and bad people here. So let's try to keep a low profile if we can. We find the contact, get the supplies, and get out of here." I said.

"That also means...." I grabbed Entrapta's wrist, seeing as she was just about to wander off, "we have to stay together. No wandering off. Okay?"

"Awww, fine." Entrapta said, her pigtails drooping. "Who's the contact anyway? Can we trust them?" Scorpia asked. "Apparently they've already been in constant contact with Bow already, so they seem trustworthy enough. I think he's a dark elf named Zane." I said.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go find them!" Entrapta stated. I made sure to lead the way through the market, using the tracker pad I had. This contact, Zane, had set up coordinates for us to go to. So we just needed to head to these coordinates and pick up the supplies. "Huh, there are more people here than I remember." Scorpia said. "Really? It's not always this busy?" Entrapta said.

"Actually yeah, it is a bit busier than before. Maybe more people moved here after the war. There were a lot of homes destroyed....so this might've been the safest place for most people to stay." I said. "Interesting...." Entrapta smiled as she pulled out a recorder, pressing a button, "entry log 203: social experience 89. Though this is my first time in the Crimson Waste, I have been informed that there are more people occupied here than usual. This may indeed be one of the results of the war, for people sought refuge from Horde Prime. Is it possible that this place has become more safe for such a reason? Or are there more untrustworthy people than ever?" she said.

"You still do those entry logs?" I said.

"Oh yes, for just about everything." Entrapta stated. "And she means everything. She did it a bunch whenever she came to visit in the Fright Zone." Scorpia said. She looked over, and perked up.

"Oooh, Catra look!" Scorpia squealed. I looked to where she was pointing. Nearby, there was a food stand, with delicious smelling barbecue chicken on a stick. The smell had struck my nose, and it smelled incredible.

"I don't think we ate before we left, did we? Should we try it out? Cause I dunno about you, but I'm hungry." Scorpia said. I could hear my stomach growl, and I chuckled. "Sure, why not?" I said. We walked over to the stand, and the guy at the stand greeted us with a smile. He was some sort of reptilian man, with a long snout and yellow eyes, really similar to Rogelio actually. "What'll it be?" he asked, his voice rough but somewhat kind.

"Three of those barbecue chicken sticks please." I said. The guy nodded, grilled up three sticks, and glazed over the barbecue sauce. Scorpia and I stared wide eyed, licking our lips.

"Oh wow, that just....wow. Tha-That looks good." she said.

"Yeah it does..." I murmured. He held out the sticks to us, and Scorpia took them. I dug into my coin bag. "How much?" I asked.

"Ten."

"That's it? Cool." I said. I took out some coins and handed it to him. He looked to his hand and counted, and a puzzled expression on his face. "This is fifteen, ma'am." he said. "Keep the change as a tip. Thanks for the service." I replied. The guy looked at me surprised, but smiled and nodded.

"Thanks for the tip." he said. With that said, Scorpia and I walked away, biting into our chicken.

"Wow, that was a nice guy. Didn't expect meet someone like that here in the Crimson Waste." Scorpia said. "Me either. It was refreshing," I said, biting into my chicken stick, "also, this tastes amazing."

"Yeah it does. Here, Entrapta, we got one for you too-"

We both froze. Entrapta was nowhere to be seen. Scorpia and I blinked, and then we sighed.

"Of course she did...." we both said in unison.

Entrapta's P.O.V.

I followed the lizard I was chasing down, with Emily right behind me. The lizard climbed onto a barrel and froze, looking back to me. I froze in place, getting out my other recorder I had on me. "Entry log 204: creature experience 386. I have found a peculiar lizard in the Crimson Waste. It's scales keep shining a beautiful rainbow color. Is is possibly absorbing sunlight and using it to create magic within itself?" I said. I slowly crept closer to the lizard, slowly reaching my hand out. Suddenly it hissed at me, and spat a small magic blast at me. I yelped and moved to the side, seeing it made a big crack in a nearby house.

"Oooh, it seems to have seen me as a threat, and used its new found magic to attack me with a small magic blast. Nothing seriously dangerous, but that is yet to be seen." I said. I turned back to the barrel, only to see the lizard was gone.

"Ah man, did I already lose it?" Emily nudged my leg, making beeping noises. "Yeah, you're right. Catra, Scorpia, I'm ready to go...." I turned around....only to not see them anywhere. I blinked, staring at the people that walked along the dirt paths.

"Uh oh."

Emily's beeping got more frequent, and she looked up at me. "Relax, we'll find them, somehow..."

"Entrapta, there you are," I looked behind me, seeing Catra down the dark alley. She placed a hand on her hip, looking at me with a smirk. "We were looking for you. Come on, we gotta keep moving." she said. I nodded and smiled. "Alright, I'm on my way." I said. However, before I could be within five feet of her, she took off to the left.

"Hey! Catra wait!" I called out. I hopped onto Emily, who then rolled the both of us down the alley and after Catra. We took the left, and saw her barely make another right turn up ahead.

"Wait! Stop for a second!" I said. We made that next right turn, but then before I knew it, something clung onto my face and caused me to fall off Emily. I hit the ground with a thud, and struggled to get this thing off me. But it felt like it kept wrapping around my body. Turns out, it was a clothes line, and now I was tied up.

"Hey! No fair!" I whined, trying to untie myself. I looked up ahead, seeing Catra chuckling as she took off

"Catra! Come back!" I stood up, and kept trying to run towards her.

Scorpia's P.O.V.

"I told her not to take off on her own! But of course, she disappears!" Catra growled, rubbing at her face. I ate the last of Entrapta's chicken, tossing the stick into a nearby trash can. "Hey, don't worry. Entrapta might be a bit....zany, and adventurous, but I'm sure she'll be okay. We'll find her." I said. Catra sighed.

"I know, you're right. I just....I don't want anything bad to happen to her." Catra said as the two of us walked down a more thin and less crowded path. "Trust me, we'll find her. She couldn't have gone too far." I said. "We'll see about that." Catra said. She led the way as we walked down the path.

"Scorpia!" I froze, and looked around, until I spotted Entrapta on a nearby roof. She giggled and waved to me.

"Come up here! The view is great!" she stated. "I, uh, hang on!" I looked to Catra, who was much farther ahead now. "Catra! She's over here! Catra!" I called. But she couldn't hear me, and kept walking.

"Come on, Scorpia! Let's play a game! Come after me!" Entrapta called, and leaped over to the next roof. I gasped, looking back and forth between her and Catra, then I growled.

"Ah shoot!" I said, and ran towards the side of the building Entrapta was on. I saw a tower of crates on the side of the house, so I climbed them as best as I could, trying not to fall over with my weight. "Oh boy, easy does it..." I murmured as I climbed. Finally I got to the top, seeing Entrapta was already heading to the next one. She whirled around and giggled.

"Come on, Scorpia! Catch me if you can!" she called out. She jumped over onto another building, making me yelp. "Entrapta, don't just jump over buildings! That's dangerous!" I called. I ran after her, jumping as far as I could over the next building. I barely made it, feeling my stomach drop for a sec when I almost fell over the edge.

Entrapta didn't stop moving though, and kept on running off. I ran as fast as I could, trying to jump over a few roof tops while I did.

"Entrapta, wait....slow down....can't catch up....oh geez, you are fast." I panted out. She finally made it to one last roof top, smirked at me....then leaned back and over the edge. My eyes widened.

"Entrapta no!" I called. I ran at full speed now, lunged forward, and extended my claw towards her....except she grabbed my claw, and pulled me over the edge. I gasped, as screamed as I went over. Before I knew it though, something wrapped tightly around my body, and I bounced slightly. Now, I was upside down, wrapped up in what seemed to be a banner of some sort.

Entrapta landed perfectly on her feet in front of me, giggling. I laughed nervously.

"Okay, that was interesting. Here's an idea though....let's never do that again."

However, she just smirked, and took off. My eyes widened. "Entrapta wait, don't just leave me like this! Entrapta!"

Catra's P.O.V.

I sighed as I marched down the paths, seeing if I could spot Entrapta anywhere. "Do you see her anywhere, Scorpia?" I asked. After a moment of silence had passed, I looked behind me.

"Scorpia?" Guess what, she was nowhere to be seen. I growled.

"Great. Just great." Melog gave a small meow, as if trying to reassure me. I sighed. "I know, I know. This mission is just becoming more frustrating than I wanted." I murmured. Melog frowned, but then she perked up, looking past me. I blinked.

"What? What do you see-" that was when I felt the cold, wet splash on the side of my face.

"GAH!!" I hissed, and whirled around. I could see a giggling Scorpia, smirking at me. "Scorpia! What are you doing?!" I snapped. "Come on, wild cat, let's have a bit of fun." Scorpia replied. She threw another water balloon at me, but I dodged it this time. I growled.

"Oh yeah? Alright, let's play this little game!" I said. I lunged forward, but she ducked, and made me crash into a watermelon cart. I yelped, now covered in sticky juice and seeds. "Seriously?! who even has a watermelon stand in the middle of the desert?!" I shouted. I whirled around to Scorpia, who giggled and took off, making a quick right turn. I growled and ran after her on all fours, with Melog right beside me. We chased her down an alley, and down a few more turns.

The next turn I took, I was greeted with another water balloon to the face. Scorpia laughed, holding her stomach. "Oho man, that was a perfect shot." she said. I shook off the water, and lunged forward. She looked at me wide eyed, and I tackled her to the ground. Once I did I glared at her.

"Scorpia, what has gotten into you?! We need to find Entrapta. We don't have time for games like this-"

"Catra?" I paused, and looked over, seeing both Entrapta and Scorpia walking towards us. They were both tied up, with Scorpia wrapped in a banner of some sort, and Entrapta was tied up in a clothes line, and Emily beside her.

"Whoa....Scorpia, you didn't tell me you had a secret twin!" Entrapta said, her expression lighting up. I sighed, placing a hand on my forehead. "She doesn't...." I looked down at the 'Scorpia' before me, "of course it was you." I murmured. "Uh, yeah, it was definitely you! Uh....who is that, if that's not Scorpia?" Entrapta asked.

"It certainly has been awhile, hasn't it?" the Scorpia below me began to transform, and I got off of them. After a moment, I could now see the true form of the mischievous shape shifter.

"Double Trouble."

"It's nice to see you again, Kitten~"
