"I know I've been saying this a lot lately, but this is amazing!" Miss Panaria smiled, shaking her head. Athena's progress was more than obvious, Kira's shield barely withstood her attacks, Athena painted pictures with flames that even a child's imagination would envy. She used her fire not only as a shield, but also to move things without harming them, similar to telekinesis, but in a physical form.

"I can't take it anymore" Mykena fell to the ground, breathing heavily, Athena followed her example and both stretched out on the ground, exhausted, but with satisfied smiles. "No matter how hard I try, I can't penetrate any deeper, you're using the heat as a shield against my telepathy, you're getting more and more inventive, I feel like my brain is frying!" Athena laughed and lifted her head, receiving the astonished smiles of approval from Miss Panaria and Tenari who had been watching them from the room above.

This is ridiculous, I know I promised to give her the time she needed, but when I said that, I meant a few more days, not weeks! And so much had passed and what I was receiving as information from Tyra, Mykena, the teachers and the others, was not enough for me! Athena is now so good at avoiding me that I don't remember the last time I saw her eyes. I know she's watching me, I can feel her, but I want more, I need more, now!

I know it's stupid, I lived before I met her, but I just can't take it anymore. Understanding my ass! Why doesn't she try to show the same? She knows I need her, but I'm starting to think that Athena doesn't need me anymore, and it makes me angry, it makes me mad, and I'm starting to go crazy. I know it's hard for her, but according to others, she's doing well, having fun, working out, and stronger than ever, so why can't I get her close yet?

What am I to her, a knight, a friend, a boyfriend? This is driving me crazy! More like a friend, right, you can do without your friends, but the guardian can't do without her knight, and the girl without her boyfriend, then, everything between us was what? Flirting, flinging, curiosity? Not for me, dammit! I gave up everything for her and now I want my reward.I know I sound like a spoiled child, I should be mature enough to know that it's all about the moment, but I'm not, I want my girl back, period!

"Damn it Jungkook, get over yourself, you motherfucker!" Jungkook snapped out of his thoughts and glared at his partner, Minho had been his sparring partner since he arrived on campus, but lately he was just grumbling and angry because Jungkook kept getting distracted, drooling and daydreaming about Athena. 

"Leave me alone you jerk, I'm trying!" Jungkook squeaked at him and swung his sword into an attacking stance. "That's all I do, unlike you, however, I want my Guardian to be proud of me and not abandon me like yours did, and she's not even strong!" Minho snapped, hitting Jungkook right where it would hurt him the most, in his relationship with Athena. "What did you say?" Jungkook slowly let go of the sword, standing up to his full height, his face petrified, taking on the emotionless expression of a wall.

"You heard me, Jungkook" Minho dug the tip of his sword into the ground and leaned on the tip of its hilt. "Either start working out, or give in to the grief of your breakup, but you can't do both!" Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "Breakup? Since when does giving my girl time mean a breakup?" if Minho really knew Jungkook well, he would be running now.

"Time? When was the last time you saw her? When was the last time you talked to her? Since when did the Guardians train without their knights? She dumped you man, accept it and move on, the bitch isn't worth wasting your chances" Minho shook his head. "What did you call her?" Jungkook tilted his head slightly and his eyes became as cold as arctic ice, he dropped the sword that thumped, raising dust, on the ground and stepped towards Minho who suddenly fell silent.

"I asked what you called her?" his low voice made Minho step back, clutching his sword like he was going to save him. "Come on Jungkook, are you going to attack a friend because of a girl?" Minho tried to tame him, but it only seemed to complicate his situation. "Girl?" Jungkook clenched his fists. "You mean my Guardian and girlfriend?" Minho swallowed hard, realizing that he had gone too far this time and looked around for help, only to receive reproachful looks from the others.

"Athens!" she turned to look at the door, Tyra rarely allowed herself to enter the fireproof room and Athena raised her eyebrows at her sister's worried expression. "Jungkook, he..." Tyra bent down with her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath. "What Jungkook?" panic and fear gripped Athena, who was approaching her sister with quick steps. "He's gone crazy, he's fighting in the field with Minho, I think he's trying to kill him!" Athena passed her sister, already running. Her legs were barely holding her up, tired from training until a while ago, but right now she was only thinking about Jungkook.

What Athens saw coming out onto the field was absolute chaos that coach Kosari tried but failed to tame. Jungkook and Minho fought mercilessly, surrounded by most of the boys who trained with them, Namjoon and Taehyung trying to hold Jungkook down, quite unsuccessfully, while Jin and Hoseok covered Minho, whose face looked like prune compote.

She ran to the field, the only thing she could see and think about were the wounds on Jungkook's face. Unconsciously, her eyes flared and a wave of heat swept over the group as a wall of fire rose between Jungkook and Minho, separating them. They both jumped back at the same time, instinctively trying to protect themselves from the flames.

"Are you crazy?" Athena fumed with worry as she approached Jungkook with quick steps, almost running, followed by Tyra and Mykena. "What the hell is wrong with you, when are you going to stop acting like the school bully?" Athena roared at him, coming face to face with a frenzied Jungkook who had long been on the edge of patience and her appearance and interference in his fight only pushed him into the abyss of absolute loss of control.

"Am I crazy? Yes, damn it, I'm crazy, I freak out when I don't know how or what's going on with my girlfriend!" he clenched his fists and towered over her, his eyes darkening with rage and powerlessness. "I'm freaking out when she avoids me, I'm freaking out that she'd rather be alone than with me, I'm freaking out because I miss you! And I'm definitely freaking out when some bastard dares to insult you!" at this stage, he was already shaking her, clutching her shoulders and shouting so loudly that it could probably be heard across the border.

"I missed you too" Athena barely whispered, her anger melting at the pain and anger written in his gaze. She knew he missed her, but she didn't expect him to go so far as to fight and finally admit it in public. "I'm sick, Athena, I can't wait any longer, I don't want to!" he continued to scream, her eyes filled with tears and she wrapped her arms around him, forcing him to stop shaking her. "I'm sorry Jungkook, I just wanted to protect you" he gaped at her blinking.

"You're trying to kill me,spark, not protect me!" she smiled slightly and wrinkled her nose. "You look terrible" Athena wiped away the blood running from his nose with her thumb. "Come back to me" Jungkook shuddered as her thumb touched his split lip. "I haven't left you, my charming knight" she stood up on tiptoe and pecked his lips lightly.

Jungkook went wild again, but this time his madness was directed at Athena, he wrapped his arms around her, pressed her and lifted her so her legs wrapped around his waist and his mouth took over hers. "Finally, I'm getting tired of hearing her scream his name in my head" Mykena smiled, throwing her hands up in the air and grinning.

"You called my name?" Jungkook parted his lips from hers only to see her cheeks flushed and her eyes light up. "Her agony was real, even if she didn't admit it" Athena looked sideways at Mykena and tried to free herself from Jungkook's grip."Ah, nah, I'm never letting you go again, sparkle, we're going home and you're going to sleep!" Jungkook stated commandingly, and most unceremoniously walked away from the scene he had caused himself.
